*Months later*

Ryan's POV:

"Bye Teacher Ry!"

"Bye bye Teacher Ryan!"

"Bye cher!"

"See you, Teacher Ryan!" My students bid me goodbye energetically before running quickly to their parents with their backpack in hand.

"Bye kids! See you all tomorrow!" Waving back at my bunch of energy-filled students, they gave me one last goofy grin before walking away with their parents hand-in-hand as they chatted excitedly about their day at school.

Damn. Children nowadays are really carefree and lovable. Not to say, they're really adorable.

"Ryan! You done?" Adrian called out my name as he jogged swiftly to my side in his suit.

"Yeah. Let me lock the doors up first. I'll meet you back in the car?"

"Okay. But be fast alright? Catherine is seriously bothering the hell out of me. She calls me like every 15 damn minutes to check if I've picked you up already or not since 5! I haven't even knocked off yet for goodness sake!" He ranted in frustration as I chuckled at Catherine's antics. She's really a pro at making Adrian annoyed.

Nodding, he let out a long breath of relief before picking up his ringing phone and screaming into it as he stomped irritatedly towards his car. Seems like it was Catherine who called to pester him again.

Locking up the main door and gate, I took my bag before walking towards Adrian's direction as I recollected of what had happened till now. Ever since the day when Adrian's father got sentenced to jail, Adrian had fully taken over his business while I've applied to become a kindergarten teacher.

I neither want to forever rely on Adrian to live my live nor move back with Arien and the rest back to their country so I decided to stay here with Adrian and live a peaceful life. Of course, I'm still part of their group so I'll still have regular training periods and will be assigned tasks with them.

To say that I'm happy with my life now is an understatement. I'm enjoying every second of my life right now and I couldn't wish for better.

"Hurry up Ryan!" Adrian hollered impatiently from the car, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yes yes."

Adrian's POV:

"Ryannnnn!" Catherine shrieked in excitement as she jumped onto Ryan, bringing him into a suffocating hug as she pushed me away from his side. Tsk. That woman.

"Hi Catherine." Ryan smiled in response as he let Catherine down gently.

"It's been so long, hun. How are you? Is Adrian treating you well? How is your job? All going well? How's-" Catherine blabbed on and on like a mother hen as she questioned Ryan worriedly.

"I'm fine, Catherine."

"Are you sure-"

"Stop bothering him so much, Cath." Leon sighed deeply as he placed a hand on her shoulder, making her quiet down quickly. "Sorry about Cath, Ryan. Let's go in shall we? My couz made us dinner. He's a really great cook."

"Let's go Leon. My boyfriend has been hogged too long by your girlfriend already." I grumbled slightly as I pulled Ryan away from Catherine and into my arms jealously.

"The guests are here! Come and meet them, Joseph!" Leon shouted loudly as a guy shouted back in reply.

"Coming!" A tall dark-haired guy came out from the kitchen with an apron around his waist as he turned to look up at us. Ehhhhh?! That's Leon's cousin?! I thought he was his boyfriend but wait. Catherine is Leon's girlfriend. What the hell was I thinking?

"Joseph?" Ryan called out his name in surprise, making him turn his head to look at Ryan.

"Ryan? You know my cousin?" He questions, astonished as he stared between all of us.

"You can say that? I didn't know that you're his cousin..."

"Don't sweat it. Not many knows anyway. So how was the truffles? Want more?"

"Yes please. They were awesome." Ryan grinned widely at his words, making him chuckle lightly at his cute reaction.

"I'm glad. Do come back for more, kay?"

"Will do." Ryan nodded eagerly while I just continued to stare confusedly and blankly at them. What's... happening?

Why is Ryan talking to him like they're friends? How does he know him? How come I didn't know that they knew each other? Gahhhhhh! This is so confusing!

"I met Joseph when I bought the truffles for us. You know, before the car blew up. He was the boss of the shop." Ryan explains upon seeing my confused face. Oh... now it makes sense.

"Nice to meet you again, Ryan and... Adrian. Adrian right?" He held his hand out to me as I took his hand in mine, giving him a firm shake.

"Right. Nice to meet you again too, Joseph. The truffles were really amazing by the way."

"Thanks for the compliment. Now......... let's all go and eat. The food's getting cold." He led us to the table to reveal a large spread of food, making my mouth water. He might as well go and open a restaurant.

"Excuse me for a moment." Ryan said shyly after finishing eating his food before swiftly making his way to the toilet. Good. Just what I needed.

"Guys, What do you think of this Saturday, 7pm at the beach? Will ya'll be able to make it?"

"Of course!" Catherine cheered in response as she clapped her hands together to try and contain her excitement. "I'll pick him up in the morning and pamper him well! Make sure to wake him up by 9!"

"Got it." Leon nodded with a smile on his lips as Joseph just stared confusedly at us.

"Wait...are you going to give him your promise or marry him?" Catherine questioned after a moment of silence as Joseph let out a 'oh' when he realised what we are talking about.

"What do you think?"

"Ahhhhh! I'm going to dress him up so well, you will want to fuck him there and then!" She squealed eagerly like a fangirl making Joseph quirk an eyebrow at her and Leon to let out a long sigh. She really doesn't care about her words even though we're at the table.

I mean... talking about fucking Ryan over the dining table? Wait...that doesn't sound such like a bad idea at all. Maybe I should do it one day. He'll look so sexy tied up to the table spread apart while being as bare as a newborn baby. That'll make him so ravishing.

"I pity Ryan." Leon said simply, making Catherine glare at him slightly as he sent her a slightly guilty look.

"Shut up you party-pooper." She chided Leon before sending a smack to the back of his head, making him groan slightly as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Ouch..."

"Remember to send us the exact location okay?"

"I will." Just then, we heard footsteps coming closer and hurriedly went back to pretend that nothing was on.

"Did... I miss anything?" Ryan questioned hesitantly as he stared at us in confusion.

"Nope! We're just waiting for you to come out so that I can get us dessert!" Catherine covered up smartly yet quickly making me let out a short breath of relief.

"Oops. Sorry."

"No worries, hun. Now go and take a seat while I get us some smore's treats."

"Smore's?" Ryan asked eagerly yet calmly at the same time as his eyes lit up like fireworks upon hearing the word smore's.

"Yup! Thick and gooey yet sweet and salty... smore's!" She announced hyperly before pushing Ryan down onto the chair before dashing into the kitchen.

"I like her."

"You mean her or the smore's she made."

"Um...both?" He said embarrassedly, making us all crack up into loud laughters.

I'm so glad to have been able to meet all of them. To think that they're my first and only bunch of friends I've ever bothered to try to make friends with. It was worth it nonetheless.
