Today is Halloween! That means lots of candy and costumes. Yay! Instead of writing a chapter today I decided to give you guys a treat! HAHAHA! Get it. A treat. Like trick or treat. My terrible jokes always crack me up. Anyways I decided to do a special short. This going to be really weird though. This is the D.O.D. when they were younger.

The Sun slowly set behind the trees, casting a golden shadow over the rain forest as if it wanted to let everyone know that it was setting. I paced around my tree hut waiting for my friends to show up. Careful not to step on my Wonder Woman costume I went to go put the bowl of candy by the front door.

Sunny came bursting into the room with the others in tow. She was dressed up as a fairy. She had even painted her wings pink. Tsunami came in after, dressed as a ninja. Clay was dressed as a bucket of popcorn, and Starflight was a skeleton.

"Are you guys ready to go?" I asked, taking note of the setting Sun.

"I am!" Clay said, enthusiastically.

"When aren't you ready to get food?" Tsunami said with a laugh as Clay's stomach rumbled, causing all of us to start laughing too.

Pumpkin buckets in hand we flew to the first hut. It was Mango's and Orchid's. Smiling they handed us each a kit-kat bar.

As it got darker more and more dragons crowed the paths leading to the various huts. There were witches and ghosts, zombies and mummies, and basically any kind of costume that you could imagine. The words "Trick or Treat!" rang through the air a dragons rushed around with their costumes flying, trying to gather as much  candy as they could.

As we kept walking our buckets slowly filled up. When we came to the last house Sunny and Clay practically bounced up the steps to ring the doorbell. A knight answered the door as we all cried "Trick or Treat!".

He smiled a toothy smile, the kind that makes you shiver and regret coming here in the first place. He reached back inside the house and yelled "Trick!" as he pulled a giant red lever. The porch fell from underneath us, not giving us enough time to react before we hit a hard concrete floor about twenty feet under the porch. Just as Tsunami tried to fly back up a metal gate close over the top, leaving us trapped.

"I got you now Queen Glory." The knight replied with the same cold smile as before.

"You're really good at that." I replied staring back at him with a smile on my face.

"What are you doing?" Starflight said, nudging me.

"You're going to make him mad at us!" Sunny whispered.

"Hand over the candy Glory." The knight said. Clay gasped as Tsunami elbowed him. "Come on you know you lost."

Reluctantly, I threw it up to him. With a smug smile on his face he opened the metal gate, and we all flew out of it. Clay and Sunny held Tsunami back as I walked up to him.

"Fine you win." I said. Smiling I kissed him to my friend's horror.

"Glory!" Clay cried as they all stared at me in shock.

I started laughing as the knight took off his costume, revealing him to be, Deathbringer.

"Why would you do that?" Tsunami questioned, staring at Deathbringer.

"We made a bet that if I could trick Glory I got her candy, and if I couldn't trick her then she got my candy." He replied as he put a wing around me. "I win."

My costume is an archer. Wow that was random. Don't worry though, Glory is probably just going to steal her candy back. Also just to clarify Starflight was the skeleton, Tsunami was the ninja, Clay was the bucket of popcorn, Sunny was the fairy, Deathbringer was the knight, and Glory was Wonder Woman.
