You have been selected among 632 Candidates to lead one of the many Expeditions into Unknown Rimworlds due to your Background as a Colonial Governor, You will be moved to and accommodated at Glitterworld B35 Until Transportation Arrangements can be made, The Rimworld you will be moved to is Rimworld G47, Your wife, Ingrid Metzger, Will also be participating in this expedition, You will be in charge of two other colonists. Rufa Pinkmann and Schultz Pinkmann, You are given a single objective. You will need to establish a fully functional Colony with the following;

-Complete Extermination Of Any Hostile Mechanoids (Centipedes Specifically as they are the Federation's Biggest Enemy.)

-Sixteen Colonists (Including yourself and the aforementioned Colonists.)

-A Citadel that can be defended with little to no difficulty.

-A Fully Functional Ship that may be used to make trips to and from the colony. (In order to bring back Cargo and Bring in fresh Colonists)

-A Farm that will be functional year round, No matter the weather.

-Fifty Thousand Silver (In order to deem this expedition as a Non-Economic Loss.)

If you find yourself meeting these requirements within the future, You, and your Wife will be granted free will to do what you want with Rimword G47 (Under the Pretense that you follow the Colonization Guidelines in Section A3)This would mean the following;

-You would be given the Title Governor of Rimworld G47

-You are able to deal with any native life how you see fit. (Diplomacy is preferred but it is not required.)

-Everyone under the Russo-Space Federation on Rimworld G47 would be a subject of you. (Exceptions being Public Officials with a higher ranking than you and or the Royal Family.)

-You may pass laws upon Rimworld G47 assuming that it was checked and given an "Okay" by the Local Galaxy Overseer.

-You may levy taxes upon your subjects. (Under the pretense that the crown gets its fair share of taxes before you.)

-You will be entitled to attend events that the Emperor hosts.

I hope this is enough Incentive for you to try your best and make the Emperor proud, and to make the Russo-Space Federation proud, I apologize for the short notice but due to the recent Glitterworld Wars Of Glitterworld B59 And Glitterworld J12, Postal services (Signaling too) have been heavily delayed.

Ivan had seen alot within his life, Mostly due to him being a Police Commissioner on a Glitterworld and an Colonial Governor, But he would be lying if he said that he was expecting this, And He would most certainly be lying if he said that those benefits for success wasn't enticing. 

He did what anyone in his shoes would do, He called his wife who was working at the Gibson Geologist Center across the world, Of course, That meant nothing when you could literally travel across the world In roughly about thirty minutes.

As expected, Her reaction was a mix of disbelief, shock, And concern, Ivan remembered meeting his wife, She ran away from a heavily populated and dense Glitterworld seeking a quieter life, He had met her at the Glitterworld Space Port  when he was going to an Interview with the Commissar of the Ministry Of Justice for the Position of Police Commissioner.

The way they met and fell in love felt like it was ripped out of one of the cliché novels that he had gotten from one of his friends for Christmas.

He was lost so he did what any person would do, Ask the nearest person for directions, and that Nearest person happened to be Ingrid, He had asked her for directions to the Ministry Of Justice office and she had offered to show him where, He didn't want to seem rude so he had accepted her request to show him and they had talked all the way there, She had said she enjoyed the time that she spent with him on the way to the Office and asked for his number, Ivan, Being the guy who doesn't wanna seem rude said sure, She then wished him luck on the Interview and walked off. 

From there, they started seeing eachother, and over two years, Ivan had proposed to her, She had accepted before he could even finish the word "Marry", It was funny looking back at it from the present.

She had told Ivan that she wouldn't mind going along on the expedition with him too, She always had a thirst for curiosity and adventure, Of course she had a thirst for plenty of other things, Some of which Ivan shouldn't even be thinking about currently.

Along with the letter, there were two documents on the other Two Colonists that were mentioned, He had decided to read it later, Mostly because he had to announce his resignation on such a late notice, He was planning on resigning In a few months once he had gotten enough Silver to afford a Rural farm on the Glitterworld, Ingrid had always hated large cities so he decided that it'd be his present from him to her, But this seems like it could replace that easily.

For now though, Ivan had a few letters to write, a few phone calls to make, and a resignation to state.
