Tears fell down her face as she looked at Ethan in the picture they took together as kids, she gently moved her fingers over his face. "I should of said something... anything....... your gone now.... I want you here they say you're here but I need you......... Your arms around me, you smiling, you laughing............ I want you to hold me and tell me it isn't real, tell me you won't l-leave...."  She rolled over into her pillow dropping the picture as she tried to hold back the tears.

"Lily." Sky's voice rang in her head. "Go away." She whispered. "You are a Volter do your job." She covered her ears. "Stop." Anger grew in her voice, as a hand touched her shoulder. "Lilly?" Jaden said as she looked up at him with tears. "Brother." She stood up and hugged him crying. "I can't do it anymore brother, I just.... can't..." She sobbed as his hand patted her back. "Lily you can't leave me, I know this life is a living hell-" He pulled her back and her sad eyes met his "But if we don't if we try and leave our souls will be lost forever and that is worse then any hall we could ever go through." She held his hand. "But brother I-" She was cut off by a knock at the door. "Shh." Lily moved out of his arms and moved to the side as the door opened and three  people walked in closing the door. "Lily." Sky said her red eyes meeting Lily's. "You guys should leave." Jaden said looking at them over his shoulder. "You better watch your mouth." Angelina spat to him. "I have no reason to listen to some bitch like-" "We are here because we have the name for the next person on the list, it's for Lily." George said looking at Lily. "Who is it now?" Lily asked trying to stay calm. "Katheryn Pike." Jaden's eyes looked toward his sisters looked down. "No, no, Why? How? Do you chose them? How?" She felt the tears falling down her cheeks. "That's the bosses business, now you can either do your god damn job or let your soul be lost." Sky said, as Jaden put a hand on Lily's shoulder and looked at her his eyes gray as stone. "Tell the boss that I will take care of it." Sky looked too him. "You can't do that Jad-" "I said tell the boss I'll take care of it Sky." He cut her off anger in his voice. "Fine, but I hope you realize that you just put yourself in a very bad area of anger from the boss." His stone cold eyes met hers again making her flinch. "Now leave Lily out of this selection of a new soul being put to death." Sky looked to Lily who wouldn't look up. "Lily try to remember who you are." As Sky and Angelina walked out the door heading back to Glory her brother sent himself to Glory to see the boss and as he left Lily fell to her knees as the tears fell down her face, a hand was on her shoulder as he sat in front of her. "Lily..." George lifted her head to look at him. "Here, I'm sorry." She looked down to see a rolled up piece of paper in her hand. "What is th-" "It's how the selection happens, don't read this until tomorrow, Okay?" His green eyes met hers. "Why are you giving me this?" She asked shocked. "Because Lily unlike you and all the other Volters I remember my past and you were in my past you were someone very special to me and you still are, I wish Volters didn't have to do this shit and seeing you cry makes me wish even more that this shit would end. Take it and read it tomorrow." He said looking at her with a loving look. "You could get hurt if you give me this, why would you take such a risk?" She asked tears still falling from her eyes as he kissed her slowly and pulled back wiping her tears away. "Because you are as special to me like you were back then and I still love you, also you are worth taking a risk for." And with that he disappeared to Glory leaving her alone holding the paper close to her.

May 5th 2019  

"So wait you're Lily's brother? But she said you and your dad lived in Kansas?" Katheryn asked walking with Jaden down the hall. "Yeah well you see my dad passed away over the weekend so I went to live with Lily and our mother." He explained. "Lily!" Katheryn said excited as she grabbed Lily's hands, Lily smiling small. "Hey." "Why didn't you tell me that your brother was living with you?" She asked confused. "Well I didn't thin-" The bell cut Lily off. "Oh gotta go, see you later Katheryn." Jaden said walking around the corner. "Ugh.. We're talking about this after class." Katheryn walked past Lily about to head to class but Lily grabbed her hand making her look back at her as Lily looked to the ground. "What is it Lily?"  She asked with a caring smile. "C-Can we skip today?" She asked holding her books close to her looking down. "Are you okay?" She asked gently, Lily put her fake smile on her face as she looked up. "I'm fine. I-I just need a brake from school and I want to do something with my friend." She paused and studied Katheryn's face for a moment. "Can we just go to the library? Please?" She asked looking up at Katheryn. "Well w-we just can't skip school for fun I mean the only reason I did that before was because... you know." She said rubbing her head. "Please just for today Kathy?" She asked holding back her tears with her fake smile. "O-Okay." She paused and looked at Lily odd. "You sure you're fine?" Katheryn asked. "I am now." She told her.

When they parked, then walked into the library they walked slowly toward the manga section and as soon as they past them Katheryn pulled Lily down the young adult fiction. "Kathy what is it?" Lily asked as Katheryn stopped in her place and turned around to Lily a look of worry in her eyes as she put her hands on Lily's shoulders. "What's wrong?" She asked strictly. "Kathy I told you i'm fin-" "No you aren't." She said trying to stay quite. "You're my best friend Lily and I know somethings up with you, tell me what's wrong." Lily looked down tears falling down her face. "Lily?" Katheryn said lifting up her head slowly seeing her tears falling. "Lily...." She said looking at her sadly. "Ka-kathy I-I....." She pulled away from Katheryn. "You need to hate me, you need to hate my brother, you need to leave and get as far away from here as possible. You need t-" "I won't do that!" She said loudly. "Lily what's going on? Why are you saying all this?" She tried to grab Lily's hand but Lily jumped back. "Don't touch me." She said looking down. "You need to stop being my friend Katheryn for your own good." She was sobbing now. "Please......" Lily looked up at her. "Please... just leave this town leave me..." Katheryn grabbed bother her hands. "Lily look me in the eye." There eyes met. "I will NEVER do that. Ever." Lily tried to pull away again but Katheryn pulled her into a tight hug. "Kathy let me go." She said trying to leave her arms. "No." She said. "Kathy-" "I said no Lily and mean it." She pulled Lily closer. "Kathy....." She said quietly. "Please..." She said softly. "Forget about me, forget about us, forget and never remember, leave and never come back, I'm not worth your time, I don't deserve you and I never will ever...." Katheryn's grip tightened. "I will never." She paused. "I love you Lily, you're my best friend" she pulled back tears now falling from her eye as there eyes met. "Don't ask me to do something that will hurt me.Don't ask me to hate you, and NEVER EVER ask me to leave because I will always be here by your side Lily." Lily looked down and put her forehead on Katheryn's shoulder and let her tears fall. "But you won't always be there, if you don't leave you are going to die." Katheryn patted her head."What are you talking about?" She asked carefully. "I'm a Volter Kathy." Katheryn's eyes widened as her hand fell to her side. "I'm a KILLER Kathy! She whispered as she moved back and looked up at Kathy and saw her fear. "My brothers one too and the next person on the list for death is you Kathy." Lily looked down. "I killed Ethan, I killed him Kathy I killed James too." Katheryn lifted her hand and put it on Lily's head. "Kathy..." She sobbed.  "You should hate me I took him from you I took him Kathy." Katheryn tilted her head and moved her hand to Lily's shoulder. "Lily......." Lily looked up at her and saw the smile. "If my time has come let it happen." Lily grabbed her hands. "No, I won't, I can't, I-" "Lily if I die I will know I died happy and that my friend trusted me to tell me the truth-" She pulled her close and hugged her. "You say you don't deserve me but the truth is you do you have deserved me and now you need to let it happen let me be with Ethan and know that I forgive you for every thing because I love and even if my soul is lost it will be lost with you."

"You sure about this?" Jaden asked Katheryn sat in the drivers set and buckled. "No one saw you get in the car?" He shook his head when she asked that.        After awhile of driving Jaden asked his lat question he would ever ask here. "You ready." She nodded. "Tell Lily she was closer to me than any one in my entire life and that she will always be my sister." She told him. "Okay" He leaned back in the seat. "Oh traiga esta alma perdida una nueva vida donde ella shale para siempre sea amada" {"Oh bring this lost soul a new life where she shale forever be loved"}

"Lily...." Jaden said as he walked into the house she looked down. "Is she...." Lily ran off as he walked closer to her, her back facing him. "She wanted you to know that you were closer to her than any one in her entire life and that you will always be her sister." She turned around and put her on his chest sobbing crying. "I don't think I can do it anymore." She sobbed to him as he put his chin on her head. "Don't sat that. We'll find a way to stop this hell fire. To stop the Volters all of them.
