T H I R T E E N ; MOON

_______Everything' grey, his smoke, his dreams...

The orangey tint of the dawn warms up a mans cold features, the emptiness below him oddly reassuring him whilst most people would be dead scared of the impressive height. Perhaps the aggressive wind prevents him from distinguishing the view correctly, his perception slightly blurred whilst he struggles keeping his deep brown eyes focused on the horizon.

Or maybe it's simply the after effects of the frequent tsunami ravaging his heart, turning any emotion upside-down as if it was a house's furniture item.

His sight can't help but to be drawn by the hypnotic image resting inside of his grazed hands. A simple yet powerful picture which he never succeeded in deleting, his memory holding on to it with dear life. But this time he made up his mind and he's about to get rid of it for good.

Incapable of thinking straight lately, his thoughts keep on diverting as if Seth isn't ready just yet to face the harsh truth. The fact that in the middle of all the bonds he created and destroyed over the years, one always seemed absolutely unbreakable, undeniable and simply put: real.

Deep down a void appeared because an important piece of the puzzle has been taken away from his reach and sent to the seas, suppressing any bit of hope to find it ever again. Though he'd gladly jump into the deep water and search for it for a lifetime, but again his troubled mind wouldn't let enough space to his heart to figure any of it out.

Instead it all remains a big mess in which he lost a brother and all he can do about it is catching his attention by starting pointless arguments with him. Receiving nothing but his ignorance would wreck any fragment of faith he still keeps inside of a precious trunk, barely hidden from the darkness devouring his soul.

Suddenly boomy voices resound through the stairwell leading to the rooftop, managing to distract The Mastermind during one of countless reflections' sessions. Rollins grants the intruders with a curious look and slightly raise his brows, uncertain about their identities still.

Until his vision clarifies itself in front of an unexpected scene.

A redheaded systems' shaker is accompanied by a conceited figure excessively covered with ink, the arms filled with sweets and faces lighted up by sincere laughters. Instantly the display sparkles unforgettable memories they used to share.

How they used to consider themselves the kings of each town they'd travel to, looking down on everyone perched on their hotels' rooftop whilst stuffing down all types of junk food.

Each heart was made of a very different tone, all colliding in a rain of colours to melt into one vivid rainbow. But now the only shades of colors he holds are black and grey for the dark thoughts and uncontrolable emotions running wild, ignited by the WWE's chaos.

Seth eventually catches their gaze and for a split second, he finds himself believing things have not change throughout the years. That there still is that eternal bond between all of them and perhaps they'd invit him to come and join for a bit. He wouldn't even have any use for a long conversation, him who is such a talker though, because all he needs is to feel the presence of his brother in arms.

As painful as it was to erase everyone who ever meant something to him, it has been the easiest process to suppress Corey's existence. At least until Rollins snapped out of his blinded phase, refusing to see the things for what they truly were, completely oblivious about the situation.

Once he realized he had not only lost the most important person in his life but he also hurt him beyond repair, the devastation occured to him like crystal clear. However that sort of revelations only makes its path to his tortured brain when he's directly confronted to him, outside of the poisonous environment the company has became.

Beaming fragments surface and, whether he likes it or not, they throw at his stubborn face the most precious moments he lived. The ones he buried to such great depths they stayed for years away as he couldn't consciously reach them.

The first Gun N' Roses concert they shared and how ridiculous they looked, behaving like ten years old fanboys. The numerous nights they battled the fatigue whilst they'd facetime for hours, never admitting they desperately needed the other to keep moving forward.

When he was with them, it was like the sound of a calming ocean would talk him down, prevent him from all the despicable actions he'd later accomplish.

Now ?

It is like a thunderstorm took over his brain and wreck the goodness' area inside, only the darkest and most destructive emotions surviving to it. He stupidly let go of their hands and soon enough, he drown himself into the madness.

They were his shelter but while he loses himself deep inside Graves' eyes, all he can experience is homesick.

Isn't it funny how the highest of places can make you feel so low ?

Rollins' soften stare abruptly turns into a gloomy one, realizing the flawless painting is situated under heavy rain, every drop disperses the work of art and the previous brightful colours now melt in a blending of black and grey.

Corey shoots daggers look towards him, rubbing in his dry skin, the hole making itself bigger and bigger as soon as the tattooed man marches ahead of Banks.

Tension's thick and overwhelming as the two former best friends stare down each other. A masculine animosity fills both their eyes, each adopting a slightly menacing position whilst Seth makes it back to his feet, still locking gaze no matter what happens.

At some point Sasha grows tired of waiting on the sidelines, observing a dead-end situation anyway and decides to put a final call to it. She discreetly slides in between Rollins and Graves, pulling the latter away which irritates the Architect even more.

Guilt and anger invade his mind as he remembers the brutal punch he threw at Corey and all the horrific things he inflected to him before. He's perfectly aware that the NXT commentator has every right to hold an undying grudge against him but still, he's unable to formulate anything that would come close to an apology.

Instead he walks past the petite wrestler who is whispering at Graves' ear, probably trying to talk him out of his phase. But nothing would have stopped him from snapping when his shoulder has been roughly pushed by Rollins, making him stumble back slightly.

As Corey's almost jumping at his throat, instinctively responding to the provocation, Sasha barely manages to calm her acolyte and a charming smile draws itself to the side of Rollins' venemous lips.

"I was just leaving." Escapes from a traitor's mouth as a smug look is plastered on his face, ruining his former friends precious time together and assuring he'll be the center of attention yet one more time.

If they aren't blissful by his side, they won't receive any bit of joy at all.
