E L E V E N ; MOON
______Abuse your imagination...
Drab wallpaper surrounds the elite of a chaotic company, excitement overshadowed by the anxiety Vince McMahon's presence always ignited. The boring colours plastered inside of the meeting room perfectly match the wrestlers' mindset, each holding on to their paralyzed hearts.
Apathetic looks only react to the CEO's void words, recalling to them they're nothing except his properties. Nothing except talentless individuals and placeholders being still signed because the company couldn't offer to hire any newest flavours of the month.
The old man sinister tone gets louder and louder, wrecking certain souls' dreams for his sole amusement. Therefore an ashamed Zack Ryder comprehends he just has been erased of the IC picture, his hopes vanishing whilst he exits the place, head's facing the ground to prevent anyone from catching the slight tear dripping from his eye.
"How pathetic." Rollin's hoarse voice puts an end to Vince's wicked game, forcing the vicious grin to disappear from his wrinkled face. The satisfaction to cut off his tyranic boss is always a precious view to his devious self. A defying yawn is added to The Architect's provocation, assuring to the Devil he couldn't be less impressed with the bullets he's sending his way.
Seth made it clear since his baby steps in the WWE he wasn't the kind of people to kneel in front of anybody, Vince McMahon included. His attitude obviously brought him to get escorted out of buildings and offices numerous times when he wasn't unceremoniously suspended for weeks, the newsreport pretending some freak injury happened each time.
And each time the two-toned man answered to Hunter's criticims that you indeed can't make an omelotte without breaking eggs, even though it sometimes entails you have to drive your bosses absolutely insane.
One recent example mixing Rollins' boldness and Vince's short temper and unbelievably low tolerance to smarks is involving Wrestlemania Axxess, a poorly orchestrated Q&A, a clueless fan striking the wrong chord in evoking Banks' name and a not so scripted back and forth with Corey Graves who kept chuckling whilst Seth was boiling out of rage.
No need to explain how the whole scene unfolded since Vince basically stormed out of nowhere, spitting to the former champion's face that such behavior would never be allowed under his watch. His speech lasted quite long and once Seth faked almost falling asleep in front of him, Vince finally exploded. He threw up both his hands in the air to express how hopeless Rollins' case was to his eyes, shouting that "this year's Wrestlemania would gladly do without an out of mind ratings killer."
He propably thought dragging Rollins out of any title picture conceivable would crush his spirits down. Poor man is so blinded by his imaginary world he's uncapable of discerning the clear fact: Seth would have kill to avoid yet another destructive title reign.
The old man breathes heavily, madness written all over his tense features. Such pitiful condition highly amuses the Game's favourite player while the latter gently pats his father-in-law's shoulder, motioning towards the rest of the wrestlers to indicate the meeting came to its end.
Relief takes over each individual still on tonight's card, practically stomping on one another to escape from Hell as soon as possible, dead scared to be the next suffering from the Devil's wrath.
"Emma and Paige, you two can take the night off." A lethal whisper slowly makes its path through the agitation until it hits both the women hard.
Extremely hard.
The fiery Brit almost go backward to slap the taste out of Vince's mouth whilst Emma struggles stopping her friend from losing her job. In the background, Rollins' sharp eye notices Sasha's disappointed gaze, a subtle glance thrown in Emma's direction to inform her they will have to adjust their plans in consequences.
A sinister yet amazed Rollins stands still close to the door, smirking at how idiotical the McMahon proves to be. Instead of annoying the guy he referred to as a "worthless punk ass kid" a while back, he actually puts an even larger curve to the side of his lips, his pleasure increasing each time Sasha's desoriented stare would accidentally cross his.
The careless loner winks at Vince, thanking him for all the times he actually did a favour to him, before proceeding to find an isolated spot from where he could admire the biggest event of the year unfolding.
Surprisingly no bitterness laying inside of his sicken heart since Seth grew more and more attached to the darkness, finding reassurance whilst running away from the spotlight. Though he's alright with not being part of Wrestlemania for the first time in years, certain things couldn't prevent him from having a knot in his stomach.
A defenceless ginger sheep embracing a menacing bear is one of those.
Owens had the bad habit to wear his emotions on his sleeves, unable to hide any bit of them, every time him and his best friend would attend the same reknown event.
Zayn kisses the upper side of Kevin's forehead, centimetres under his hairline in a fraternal way, their teary eyes matching the emotional charge of the day. Rollins simply walks pass them, brushing their arms in doing so, bestowing a look of disgust upon them as three words echo through his ears:
We made it.

"Olé, olé, olé!"
Yet one more indie darling comes out on the grandest stage of them all, provoking a huge pop from the Universe, most probably not even familiar to Sami in the first place, only chanting for him to blend into the crowd and never stand out.
Entirely focused on the tablet tightly hold inside of his grip, he's salivating at the sole idea Banks has to be somewhere in the arena, raging at how Vince messed up her flawless plan.
Her alliance with Emma was close to the implosion, or at least it's what the rumours were saying, which confirmed what Seth would have stake his life on: Sasha physically can't trust anyone.
The fatal-4-way match took place without much surprise as the two NXT rivals rekindle their history - stained by blood and betrayals. If one doesn't viciously super kicks the other right to the side of the head, to what the latter answers by throwing his entire body colliding roughly with a ladder, it's not a Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens match you're watching.
Once the crowd is firmly convinced the Intercontinental Championship belongs to either the ginger heart and soul of the WWE or the unworthy of trust Prizefighter, both battling on top with the few strenghts they still got, something feels off.
The previously worn out duo that is Ziggler and Miz laying on the side of the ring suddenly rise from their ashes in an astonishing way, each spectator gasping at the view offers to their very eyes. The two soldiers of The Authority puts a drastic end to the glorious fight happening, pushing the ladder and forcing both Sami and Kevin to stumble right onto another one, breaking it in a frightening sound.
Rollins slowly frowns as what he's seeing is far from being what Triple H's speech suggested during the meeting. The unanticipated events keep on unfolding whilst perplexity encircle the backstage's atmosphere.
For a couple of minutes time seems to stand still, the usual turbulance surrounding the area strangely missing.
Once Miz and Dolph are done taunting and toying with Owens and Zayn's lifeless bodies, they toss them back inside of the square circle, the whole thing far from staying on the basic ladder match's track.
Miz's devious smile meets his blond acolyte sight, announcing the party would finally begin. His movements appear to be choreographed, recalling the shades of their first encounter back in a NXT live event that Seth read about on WWE.com.
Exactly just like the first time, the dark-haired man turns back to Owen (Kevin's son), screaming to his face it's the last night he'll ever see his father alive. Thankfully for the kid what has changed however is that this time around his mom is there to protect her child, slapping with all her forces the assaillant and leaving red fingerprints on his face.
If she knew what was coming up next, maybe she'd have thought this through.
Miz's impulsive side took the upper hand as he's now shaking up the helpless 8 year-old boy, shouting insanities to him which even confuses Ziggler who throws subtle glances to his ally every so often.
Nonetheless the final goal of the maneuver has been met. Owens is raging, not even hesitating half a second to jump at his son's aid. He prided himself in their bond, always bragging about how he wouldn't give it away for anything in the world.
Turns out the strongest of links - being a brotherhood - couldn't be strong enough to compete against the power of blood.
The entire arena can't cover up their apprehension whilst witnessing Ziggler coming one more time a little bit too close to Zayn's shoulder, carefully placing his hands on it, this time determined in breaking it for good.
"You've gotta be fucking kidding me." The bleached man angrily whispers for himself, incomprehension increasing as minutes pass by.
A fifth figure makes its presence felt as it's almost entirely wrapped up with bandages and bruises, staples visible to the side of his shiner. He evens the odds, aggressively falling down on Dolph, seemingfully hurt and having zero clue what to do next.
Zayn and Owens' Mania moment shattered to pieces but thanks to the unexpected wrestler appearance, neither one or the other is critically injured.
Or at least for now.
The Lunatic Fringe pulls Sami back towards the ropes, indirectly helping him to stand up. Each inches of their skin burning, both their bodies aching in pain whilst they stare down at one another, not quiet able to think straight up to that point.
Once The Authority's lapdogs retreat and Owen is ultimately safe and sound, his father gets back inside of the ring, attempting in Pop-Up Powerbombing Dolph onto the harsh map but the latter manages to roll out of the war zone just in time.
Kevin is obviously infuriated at the whole situation, flammes burning bright inside of his eyes, daring the two cowards to "come and get some". As he's lost into his frenzy he doesn't seem to acknowledge Ambrose's presence behind him and, when Owens is about to throw a brief apologetic glance to Sami, Dean catches him off guard with a beautiful Headlock Driver.
"Bastard!" can be heard backstage while Seth regains his composure, understanding bit by bit how and why the whole situation unfolded this way.
Flashbacks shed light on his troubled mind, taking him back moments before the show when Kevin stalked him through the parking lot, bluntly demanding for a temporary truce which Rollins turned down immediately, not too big on according his mercy to Banks. But what seemed extremely odd was that he assumed distinguinshing a man's silhouette reflecting on the wall.
Guess the Devil is playing with the thin line between life and death, reviving corpses that the Reaper itself took away.
Rollins is so absorbed by the whole scene, simply shocked at Dean's view, uncapable of discerning the two disturbed persons in front of him.
Familiar vociferations bring him back to reality when Rollins recognize Owens' harsh tone, literally spitting to Sasha's face: "I'm fine, thanks for asking!" whilst the redheaded is seemingfully more concerned about the ginger's condition.
The Mastermind tries his best to merge in the background, analysing the scene with the greatest of attention. What he sure as hell couldn't miss is the soften look inside of the petite's eyes, the same she used to carry on during her early NXT days.
Her caring and kind nature would always shine through back then, unable to hide she just had a gentle heart. To his surprise, Seth witnesses some sort of resuscitation of that innocent soul he barely acknowledged in the past.
Zayn's physical pain and crushing sorrow apparently affect her grandly since Sasha is marching side by side with Sami, absolutely frightened about the beatdown he once again suffered.
"I'm fine!" "No you're not!" Both end up shouting at each other, marking a slight pause when realizing they've drawn a little too much attention upon themselves.
"You've barely talked to me in an entire year and now you dare acting like you suddenly care about my well-being ?" Sami snaps at her, his energetic gestures emphasizing his animosity.
Banks looks like completely thrown out of her game, especially once the former NXT champion notices Rollins standing behind her, a smirk on his face.
"How are we even supposed to believe you're not with them ? They never assaulted you, did they ?" Harsh tone contrasting with his usual bubbly personality, Zayn dumpes her right in the middle of this chaos, disappearing inside of the agitated wave of people.
"Seems like a control freak can't handle pressure, isn't that right ?" Seth mocks whilst getting closer to Banks, brushing her arm cautiously, his well-known cynical laugh following his cutting words.
But not as cutting as The Boss' right hand colliding with his jaw in a muffled noise.
Time fast fowards, completely opposed to the previous atmosphere as now both Rollins and Banks keep on discharging punches. Most meet the air, few hit the actual target and each is restrained from slaughtering the other's throat, a horde of officials charged of seperating the troublemakers.
Vince's sinister voice is once more heard through the corridors, a vein pounding to the side of his head as he gets his hands on Seth - who is at that point still struggling.
"You just digged your own grave Banks!" Words explode to Sasha's face, unable to retord anything back since her mouth has been covered by Emma, roused by the racket from a mile away.
Threats escape from one madden Mastermind's lips, his venom slowly poisoning his rival, pushing her off the races like never before.
Only time will tell if these words are void ones or payback's statements.
