_______ Another victim's lying dead on the floor...

payback ; 09 : 25 pm

Vindictiveness is a lethal poison spreading through one's veins, boiling out of jealousy and clashing with a cold, calculating mind.

A serious and focused expression draws itself on her elegant features whilst Banks proceeds to follow each and every step of her well-thought strategy, giving no room for either error or impulsiveness.  There is nothing that could be able to faze her.

Not Cole's frightened tone when Sasha placed Becky's motionless body on the barricade, hitting the Double Knee Stomp in a racket of painful howls and ecstatic acclamations.

Not the referee's reprimands when she viciously applied a little extra-pressure before letting go of the Bank Statement, once dangerously getting closer and closer to the count of five.

And certainly not one of the Irish lady's pitiful fan, sporting a disappointed look on his face while she torn apart his ridiculous sign, sending the remains of it directly at him.

Since Lynch's back injury was nothing but a secret to the locker-room, Sasha put together a flawless yet immoral plan. She continuously thought about it for the past two weeks, assuring herself that Payback wouldn't be just another marketing name.

Well aware that an opportunity to retaliate for the convoited treasure that had been stolen from her - the microscopic light disappearing from her view before she could distinguish it - isn't going to come back around anytime soon, the redheaded cautiously takes her time to avoid unnecessary exhaustion.

If bitterness was the only taste staining her tongue, she now can feel nothing but the satisfaction of a fulfilled revenge.

"And that's why I'm the best!" The malignant beauty shouts as she's spreading her arms, winking back at the camera to subtly pay tribute to Owens and therefore, her merciless stable.

Eventually Becky sucks up the pain and takes advantage of Banks' arrogance, seemingfully rolling her up before transitioning into a very effective Powerbomb. The Boston native's freil body rudely collides with the canvas while she lets out a small shriek of both surprise and ache.

Lynch immediately falls for a cover - too worn out to stand up straight anyway - until an unexpected event adds-up to her burdensome frustration.

Sasha barely kicks out, snapping out of her astonishment following the Irish's show of heart, only to encounter something that troubles her mind even more and lowers her confidence significantly.

A very familiar theme blares out moments before the Flair's clan is revealed on the top of the ramp.

Though Charlotte's presence wouldn't ordinarily stupefy anyone nor her unrequested intervention, the simple sight of her on stage whilst the CEO announced she'd undergo surgery at the same moment disconcerts the two female competitors.

Both lays a hateful and suspicious look on the shady silhouettes coming near them, only "Woos" heard as a response and an intolerable provocation infuriating a courageous champion and a depraved challenger.

The clueless blonde is clearly sent by Vince himself and appears completely out of place, as not even knowing how to behave yet executing the orders without grasping any of them. Since she couldn't offer to second-guess anything, Lynch heads toward the one that dares lay a finger on her title, impetuously raging in front of the serene wrestler and her spotlight-stealer of a father.

At some point Charlotte places the precious belt back in the time keeper area, explaining that she came out here to do so in the first place - honesty apparently part of the values she's lacking in.

As Becky attempts to slide back into the squared cercle a grip's felt on her ankle and soon drags her backwards with force, sending her to meet the harsh floor.

Even the sound of the ringing bell announcing the disqualification isn't enough help for Sasha to snap out of her phase as she's foolishly numbed in a corner, slowly realizing with an unmatched amount of deception that yet another golden opportunity slipped away from her fingers.

Her view blurs out as minutes pass by and at some point, she doesn't even know if it's her perception deceiving her but she'd swear she can distinguish four silhouettes fighting one another.

Locks of curled hair and glimpse of furious hazel eyes allow Banks to figure out that the fourth person is her Australian acolyte.

"Not again." Sasha manages to mumble under her breath while struggling to get back on her feet - maybe if she takes a little bit of altitude, the cold air would possibly freeze down her unpredictibility's fear.

Maybe she could take back the control she's lost over her own entity, battling her incomprehension to rescue Emma.

In place of that the sole reaction she can get out of her system is to repeat the same intelligible words over and over, as if the formula could help disenchant her.

A hurricane of messy thoughts invade her head yet none of them bears a useful scheme. As if gasping for air Banks' pulse accelerate severely and unfortunately for her, the assaillants aren't about to bring her any type of solution.

Miz and Ziggler ultimately grow tired of battling Emma - who's the only one remaining since Lynch's been taken out for quite some time - and turn their attention toward Sasha. Menacing stares and haunting smiles are the only thing she manages to see, their bad intentions becoming quite obvious at that point.

She wisely steps back and automatically feels the effects of her undying war with Lynch - they'd always take each other to the limits, wheither being sisters or bitter rivals.

Unsure of what the men are about to do but bound to receive a severe punishment, the thought she might be forced to give in to The Authority strikes her mind for a second before striking yet another nerve.

As she's trapped back against the ropes - Charlotte awaiting on the outside, salivating at the upcoming massacre - Banks can just hope her body won't end up badly bruised and become what a broken toy would be to a child : absolutely useless.

Closing her eyes appear the smartest thing to do in that precise moment as the tortures would probably be less painful if her mind wanders far away. A cold breeze's finally felt approaching her tiny body which instantly sends shivers down her spine, leaving her waiting.

Waiting for her dreams to be crushed, one more time.

Waiting for her spirit to be sent away, one more time.

Waiting for her heart to give up on her, one last time.

Except nothing happens.

No powerful grip falls on her vulnerable bones. No unbearable pain meets her muscles.

The sole things that she's able to perceive are four words wrecking her soul more than a million of torments :

"He said : "not her" ." Escapes from Dolph's mouth, informing a resentful Charlotte that she'd have to wait a little longer to see her former friend bow down to the "Queen."

Once The Authority's message has been delivered, the whole clan finds its way back to the shadows of the Devil's asylum, leaving a confused and heavy atmosphere behind them.

Vociferatons echo backstage and remind Sasha of her first attempt at glory. She failed miserably and as if it wasn't exhausting enough, the night ended with the most brightful light she ever encountered slowly fading because of her.

"Last time you protected her you ended up in a hospital. What do you want it to be next, your grave ?" Severe tone accompany some hurtful words whilst Zayn brings up the possibility that Banks would cooperate with The Authority since, no matter what the situation is, they never seem to attack her.

From the moment she walked pass the curtains to the one she hid herself not so far of where she spotted Kevin and Sami bickering, the accusations kept unloading.

Although the "heart and soul of NXT" is well-known for his bubbly personality, anything regarding Kevin's health had a disastrous effect on his mood, always igniting a fire within his pure soul.

He may not have a family depending of him but his whole world revolves around his best friend : if anything ever happened to him, he'd lose his mind entirely.

As they obviously stand on solid ground and defend their own beliefs without giving an inch, the two stubborn wrestlers seem to reach a fever pitch in their disagreement.

"Just go." Owens ultimately lets go in a whisper, contrasting with his usual habit of listing arguments after arguments, thinking way too high of Banks to let anyone say such things about her.

"Where do you want me to go anyway ? We've got a match tonight." Zayn mutters while pulling away from his best friend, seemingfully far from being done with that conversation.

As he proceeds to exit the area he accidentally makes eye contact with Banks - which he's not sure how to react to. On one hand he's as mad as it gets thinking she may betray them but on the other hand, he swore up and down he'd never quit on her and if anyone knew a thing about Sami, it's that he is a man of his word.

After an awkward silence spent staring at each other in confusion, they both eventually go their separate ways - Sasha to the coldness of her sorrow and Zayn to the blaze of his grudge.
