WHILE THE AVENGERS FOUGHT ON EARTH, THE GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, TWO AVENGERS AND A WIZARD ARE FIGHTING ON TITAN. The boss fight. A boss fight where they gave it everything they had but still lost when Peter Quill let his emotions get in the way. Their plan of removing the gauntlet from Thanos did nothing but harm them. They were thrown around, injured, moons where thrown, magic was used, magic with a kick, spider webs were shot, infinity stones were used. Thanos called Spider-Man 'insect' but he's an arachnid, the uncultured swine.

Before Thanos arrived in Titan, Stephen Strange used the time stone to look at all the possible futures, scaring the crap out of the others in the process.

"I went forward in time to view alternate futures. To see all the possible outcomes of the coming conflict" he panted as he told the others this.

"How many did you see?" Quill asked.

"Fourteen million six hundred and five"

"How many do we win?" Tony asked with dread.

Strange stared at Tony. He hesitated to tell him how many possible futures he saw. In the first one he saw Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff die. They gave their lives to save the universe. But he also saw the family Tony will have and how can he leave little Morgan Stark like that? He'll always be a hero but after everything Tony's been through he deserves all the happiness. Natasha Romanoff, everything she went through, the Red Room, finding a family in the Avengers, protecting those who can't protect themselves touching the lives of hundreds, she also deserves all the happiness.

In the second future he saw a girl with milky eyes and if he looks hard enough he swears there are little stars. Little constellations behind the milkiness. The blind girl stood amongst the chaos, and he knows that's the path they should take. She saves them all...or so he hopes she does. There's something blocking him from seeing what happens after the flash of colors. He pushed and pushed but he couldn't see.

So does she save them or not?

"Two" the wizard answered.

"Which one do we choose?" Peter Parker questioned.

Strange looked up and stared at the Guardians. He stared at them as if they're supposed to provide an answer, but they didn't, at least not in the way they thought. Mantis nervously wrung her hands and Strange's breath hitched in his throat.

"We don't" he told Peter. "It's been done"

They looked at him in confusion. What the hell kind of answer is that? Do they go with the future behind curtain number 1 or curtain number 2? Is there a curtain number 3? Which one has the jet ski, which one has the new living room and which one has the gag gift?

After that Thanos came. They fought, had their asses handed to them and at the end Stephen Strange willingly gave him the time stone. Future number 2 better be the one, otherwise this will all have been for nothing.

Back in Wakanda the Avengers are gathered in the forest where the wind is howling. Maalot can feel it as she fights through the outriders and destroys dropships. The tree branches swayed in the wind, the plants, their hair was picked up in the wind. The Avengers are worn out and tired but they can tell by the strange wind they have incoming. When Steve called the team to him, they stood near him cautiously surveying the area.

The wind picked up and a smoky black and blue portal opened. Thanos stepped out, gauntlet on his left hand with almost all the infinity stones. He's missing the mind stone that's still in Vision's head.

"Cap, that's him" Bruce quietly told Steve.

"Eyes up. Stay sharp" Steve told the group.

Bruce was first to charge at Thanos. He used the space stone on the Hulkbuster making him intangible and solidifying him inside a rock behind him. Steve runs to Thanos and he uses the purple power stone to send Steve flying back. T'Challa jumps at the Titan and he easily grabs him by the throat and lands a strong punch on his head. T'Challa fell with a wave of kinetic energy under him. Sam dived down and shoots Thanos and he was pulled from the sky with the use of the stones.

Rhodey appears and shoots mercilessly at Thanos. He uses the space stone to create some sort of shield to protect him from the bullets. Thanos clenches his fist and cripples Rhodey's suit. He crashed on the ground. Bucky ran out between some bushes and shot at Thanos, but he's soon blasted away by the power stone. He does the same to Okoye when she throws her spear at him. Thanos raises several jagged slabs of stone trapping Natasha in them. Groot slams his hands under the dirt and grows roots that wrap around Thanos but he easily breaks them.

During all this Wanda is working hard on destroying the mind stone. She glanced worriedly behind her, Thanos is so close and if she doesn't destroy the stone then he'll win.

Sybbyl stepped out the vegetation and stood between Wanda and Thanos. Her bow is secured in her hand, her eyes set on the man in front of her, her heart pounding against her chest.

"I'm surprised you can walk after the arrow I put through your foot" Sybbyl smirked. "No worries, I can give your other foot a matching one" she raised the bow and Thanos used the space stone to cripple the weapon but nothing happened. She let the arrow fly and it hit Thanos on the other foot.

"How?" Thanos questioned. He's shocked about two things, Sybbyl not being dead and the fact that her bow is immune to the powers of the space stone. Sybbyl stared at her bow in confusion. What just happened?

Behind Thanos, a knife was flung from a tree and it the shoulder of the giant purple man. He groaned, quickly turned around but saw nothing. When he turned back around Loki was standing next to Sybbyl.

"I lived bitch!" Loki smirked.

Thanos is enraged. Tricked by an Asgardian and a Jötunn. The dumb idiot should've seen it coming but he was too absorbed with his own gain. He wanted the stones he didn't see the illusions. Well not anymore. He has the reality stone. No more illusions.

Sybbyl shot an arrow and Thanos used the space stone to send it through a portal somewhere in space. Loki threw knives at him but he didn't have the same success as before. Thanos clenched his fist and threw Sybbyl and Loki back with the power stone. Oddly enough the bow stayed behind, it didn't go with Sybbyl.

Steve came back and began to punch Thanos. Leg, arm, under the chin. Thanos was unfazed by this but he was surprised when Steve held him back. He looked down at him wondering how a human can hold him back, but it's hard for Steve. He's giving it all he's got but Thanos is much stronger and he knows this. He punched Steve knocking him out.

When Wanda saw this she used two hands and focused her energy on destroying the stone. It's cracking but she needs more time. An extremely strong wind threw Thanos back. Maalot landed on the ground and looked down at Thanos.

"Leave the humans alone!" She yelled and formed a swirl of wind that swirled through her arms until it hit Thanos. He pushed through the strong wind and managed to stand up. Maalot formed a tornado and threw it at Thanos. He used the stones to break through the wind. Maalot raised her right hand up to her shoulder curled her hand into a fist, and took the air out of his lungs. He gasped and tried in vain to fill his lungs with air. She smirked and raised her free hand. Wind came out of the palm of her hand, forcing Thanos to his knees. Suddenly he clenched his fist and Maalot flew back and slammed against a tree. Her blue diadem is laying on the ground where she once stood.

Thanos' lungs burned when air returned to them. He stood up and walked to Wanda. The stone is almost destroyed. She turned one hand to Thanos to keep him back, her other hand focused on the stone. Thanos pushed through Wanda's powers using the stones but Wanda didn't give up. Finally the stone cracked and the force rippling the treetops.

Thanos looked down at Wanda who's on the ground, devastated that she had to kill Vision in order to destroy the stone. "I understand my child. Better than anyone"

"You could never" she glared at him.

He sighed and reached down to caress the top of Wanda's head with his giant hand. She flinched. "Today I lost more than you could know. But now is no time to mourn" he straightened up and moved to where Vision once was. "Now's no time at all"

With the time stone, two green rune bands form around the gauntlet and an emerald green disk appears under his palm. He begins to rotate his hand and Vision comes back together.

"No!" Wanda yelled when she saw what Thanos did. He pushed her aside, grabbed Vision by the throat and pulls him up to eye level.

Thanos rips the mind stone out of Vision's head. All color drained from his body when he died. Thanos discards him to the side like a piece of trash and places the stone in the empty spot on the gauntlet. The energy of the stones run through his body causing him to yell and groan in pain.

Lightning hit Thanos which sent him back a couple of feet. He raised his arm and uses the stones to shoot Thor out of the sky but he throws his axe which hits the power of the stones, making it smaller and smaller until the axe embeds itself in Thanos' chest. Thor lands in front of him and places his left hand on the side of Thanos' head.

"I told you..." Thor panted and placed his right hand on the back of his axe. "you'd die for that" he pushes the axe deeper into Thanos and he cries out in pain.

"You..." He wheezed out. "You should've...you should've..." He exhaled and looked up at Thor with a small smirk. "You should have gone for the head" he raised his left hand.

"NO!" Thor shouted but it was too late. Thanos snapped his fingers. The gauntlet is charred. Smoke coming from it. "What did you do? WHAT'D YOU DO?"

Thanos didn't answer. He looked around for a moment before he opened a portal and fell through. Thor stared at the empty spot in horror. What the hell just happened? Steve appeared planting, bloody and holding his side.

"Where'd he go?" Steve asked and looked around. "Thor. Where'd he go?" But Thor doesn't have the answer. He doesn't know what the snap did or where he went.

"Steve?" Bucky called out for his oldest and dearest friend. Steve turned and saw Bucky turning to dust and fading away. His legs were gone and his body fell, leaving behind ashy remains.

Steve rushed over and knelt by Bucky's gun. He tentatively extended his hand to touch the ash, but as his hand hovered over it his fingers began to fade away, then his hand, his arm. He turned to look at Thor their eyes locking for one last time before Steve turned to ash.

Across the battlefield, half the Wakandan forces began to fade away leaving everyone confused. Ships crashed when their pilots died. In the forest, T'Challa moved to Okoye who's reeling from the attack from Thanos.

"Up, General. Up" he ushered his friend. "This is no place to die" he grabbed Okoye's arm and she grabbed him but T'Challa faded away leaving Okoye extremely confused and scared. She stood up and called out for him.

Groot and Rocket are by a fallen tree branch. The pair looked at each other in sadness as one of them began to fade away.

"I am Groot" Groot said in a sad tone.

"No. No. No. Groot. No. Groo-" Rocket didn't get to finish what he was going to say. Rocket turned to ash and was blown away by the wind.

"I am Groot" Groot dropped to his knees and placed his hand on what's left of Rocket.

"Sam!" Rhodey called as he walked through the forest. "Sam, where you at! Sa-"

Sam Wilson stood up just in time to see Rhodey turning to ash. "No, no. Rhodey!" He yelled and rushed to him but there was no use. Sam stared in horror and heard Okoye in the background.

Sybbyl picked up her bow and stared at it in confusion. She inspected it and turned it in her hands. Why wasn't it affected by the power of the stones?

"Sybbie? Sybbie, are you alright?" Loki rushed to his best friend.

"I'm fine" she nodded. "You?"

"Same" he nodded. He looked around the forest. On one side there's Wanda next to Vision's body. Behind him is Maalot picking up her band diadem from the ground, inspecting the blue beads, particularly the blue stone in the middle. And on the other side is Thor who looks troubled. Anger, sadness, confusion are running through him right now, but mostly anger.

"Thor?" Loki called out. He looked up and smiled small when he saw his brother.

"Loki" he breathed out. Loki smiled back but the smile quickly fell when he saw Thor begin to fade.

"No!" He cried and ran to his brother. "No, no!" He grabbed Thor and his heart went faster than he thought possible. "No, please don't" he shook his head. Sybbyl gasped and stared in horror as her lifelong friend began to fade.

"Brother" Thor said before he bit the dust.

On Titan, the Guardians, the two Avengers and the wizard are reeling from their loss at the boss fight. Thunder rumbled in the sky and the group came together. They're bloodied, bruised and don't really know what to do next.

Mantis detected something in the air, perhaps it was her powers of empathy that allowed her to sense this, but she knows something is wrong.

"Something's happening" she anxiously announced. She felt Peter Quill shift beside her and she looked down and saw his arm turning to ash.

Quill looked down at his body and up to the group who are starting with wide eyes. "Oh, man" he breathed out before he was gone. Mantis looked down at her body and then turned to Drax and Nebula. All three of them are alright.

"Tony" Strange spoke up. Tony slowly turned around. "There was no other way" a second later he was turned to ash.

"Mr. Stark" Peter Parker's voice trembled. Tony turned to the kid. Not him. Not the kid. "I don't feel so good" he staggered in place.

"You're alright" Tony tried to assure him.

"I don't...I don't know what's happening. I don't-" he stumbled forward and fell into Tony's arms. He rested his head on Tony's shoulder and the man wrapped his arms around the kid. "I don't wanna go" Tony gently set Peter down and stayed by his side. "Mr. Stark" Peter cried. "I- I guess you could say that I'm the ozone layer" he smiled small.

"What? Why?" Tony stared at him in confusion. One second he's crying and the next he's smiling.

"Because I'm disappearing at an alarming rate" Peter smiled at Tony as he turned to ash, leaving Tony Stark brokenhearted.

Mantis knelt down and placed her hand on Quill's ashes. Drax stood beside her and placed a hand on her shoulder. Nebula stared at the place the kid once was and knew that her father succeeded.

"He did it"
