Chapter 1

He hit his jaw and you could hear the punch, the sound from skin on skin, bone against bone. The sound of this violent fight echoed over the camp, cheering boys behind. They celebrated the cruelness of the second in command, beating up another boy for uncertain reasons.

Another punch, Thomas bend over, spat out some blood and kicked Felix against his leg, making him scream in pain. The lanky blonde boy stepped forward and hit multiple times the face of the other boy with heavy, violent punches. You thought that what you heard was Thomas's Skull cracking, but your assuming turned out wrong, as you saw blood puring from the boys nose like rapids in a river, crashing against his lips like a wave against a rock.

Thomas went down, gulping and aching, neihertheless Felix stopped hitting him, in a cruel, ruthless way you had never seen.

He gave you the chills. Nonetheless your fear of ending up like Thomas,- beaten up and choking on his own blood-, you often disobeyed him. He never harmed you, yet, just stamped angry away. He often gave you some weird look, was scanning you up and down as if he were looking for something. He was obeserving you whenever you were around. His shark like eyes pierced through your body when walking around. At first you did not notice, then, one day, he was sitting on a branch, chewing on a toothpick and with his club in his hands, just starring at you for a whole time, might thinking you would not notice, but you did. He would not let her left his eyes, not for a single second. You did not count, but were sure he was watching you for an hour at least, just sitting there, high up in the trees.

Felix left Thomas there, like every other boy and you saw in the beaten up boys no bravery anymore, only sadness. Stepping outside of the narrow trees and bushes, forward to the bleeding boy, you sat down on his side.

'Hey.' You whispered sad and touched his cheek. 'Everythings gonna be okay. I won't leave you here like this!' You whispered and he grabbed your hand with eyes closed, trying to breath and repress the pain.

You grabbed the boy under his arms and pulled him over the ground to your tent. He was as tall as Felix, which means he was too heavy so it took you almost an eternity to do so. You stopped nearby your tent, out of power, then grabbed some water, towels and other medication supplies from your world with you.

Thomas flinked whenever you touches his bruised face with the warm, wet towel. If he did not want them to get infected, they had to be cleaned, and also be stitched.

'I have to stich up some of them.' You told him and he shrinked again, just at the thought of a needle. You sticked your hands in his brown, wavy hair, his head resting on your lap.

'I will give you an injection so you won't feel anything. Promise.'

He nodded so you started to fix up his wounds, then checked his body for other wounds, knowing Felix mostly hit the boys head, but just making sure. He drank the water that you gave him, and was forbidden to eat or the painkiller could not work correctly.

'Can you sit up?'

He could, but he was very weak within. Still, he handled to stand up, took up his spear and went into the woods hunting, like nothing had happened. He left you there statled and almost laughing. These boys were incredible. Took up beatings like nothing and the they went on. He did not even thank you.

Lost boys.

Suddenly Felix approached next to you, you noticed as you stood up and turned around. Screaming at his sight, you fell in shock backwards on the ground. Panting you looked at him and laughed unsure, not knowing if he was going to choke you to death instantly, or just wanted to talk.

'Where the hell did you come from?'

The second in command did not answer the question, neither did any muscle in his face move. He had the same cold gaze as always, a piercing blue, eyes that reminded you of a shark. He was never lighted by a smile, not even now, he was not even making a joke about you like every other boy when someone, especially you, fell down.

Nothing.

'You have to fix up my leg.' He commanded and for the first time on Neverland, in these few weeks that you were here, you became a little afraid of your life. You nodded, avoiding his eyes and stood up.

'What do you need? Should I stitch something up?' You asked and managed yourself to look at him. He shook his head. 'Just a black bruise. Hurts like a horse kicked my nuts.'

I hope it hurts., you thought.

'Then you just gotta cool it. Get ice for it.'

You were glad that he disappeared as quickly as he appeared. You weren't scared of him, not really, he had never harmed you and you didn't cross his way very often. It was like you were avoiding him especially, since he seemed to be dangerous, ruthless, dreary and scanty.

He did whatever Pan told him to do, no questions about it. Like a loyal dog.

Thomas and Felix were friends. The thought of Pan telling his second in command to beat his friend up came to your mind. What if Felix did not want it? You tried to tell yourself this, trying to believe your own truth, but what you saw was different, you saw how Felix enjoyed the moment, he loved every second of it.

Slowly you walked through the forest (in your favorite outfit). You had picked up some flowers and weeds to make a beautiful flower crown. Picking up flowers became your hobby, then making crowns out of them. You always threw them away before you turned back to the camp, you did not want to be seen as a weak girl which liked flowers and dolls and stuff. Peter knew, he found one, so did Felix, who always followed you without you noticing him. Pan told him to have an eye on you, so he did, like now, following you around. You had never noticed him yet, since day one on neverland.

You didn't not know where that feeling came from, everything was allright, but for days you had the feeling to be followed around. You did not look for the one, making it too obvious that you had noticed. Did you even notice something? No footsteps, no sounds, nothing. Just this strong feeling somebody is watching. You made your way up to a wide path in the woods with barely trees or bushes, just making sure that you wilk see an attacker if needed.

No one to see.

On your way to the camp you weren't sure if you were aware of what to feel or think. This place was odd, no other girls around. A bit scarying for a young girl surrounded by plenty of teenage boys. Some of them had sex sometimes, that was an fact, no speculation. When they were very needy, they would sneak into each others tents at night, you saw it sometimes when you were outside when you just could not fall asleep. And it was clear what two boys did at night, weird sounds being slightly audible.

They wanted sex, but how long with just another boy?

Also you still had the feeling to be watched and it freaked you out, not knowing if this all just came up from your mind.

'Y/N!' Someone yelled. You shrinked but then noticing it was just Thomas approaching you. 'Ye missed dinner, lass. I dinna think the boys left ye something.' He said and frowned. Then he saw something in your hair and smirked.

'How bonnie.'

His scottish accent was quite appealing to you, not in a romantic way, just nice to hear. Even if you didn't understand him sometimes.

You wondered what he was talking about and touched the top of your head, just to find a flower stuck in your hear.

Dinner were out today, not a big deal, you had found fruits in the woods and they would keep your stomach silent until the next morning. Slowly you approached the bonfire, sitting on a log and watching the boys dance to Pan's flute. You heard it, but never danced to it though. You looked around and suddenly noticed Felix sitting on a log of the other side of the fire.

His dark features were underlined by the orange light and he twisted a knife in his hands around. The lost boys face was calm, without any expression. He seemed to stare at you, again, but soon looked away. The lost boy looked creepy, like he often did when he was in extremely bad mood. As you watched Felix face, you tried to find something in it, like an answer to all his secrets, which you bet were many. His scar vanished under his hood and almost half of his face too, as he bent over, took his club and walked towards you. He didn't limp much, which was good for him, but made you scared if there even was something that could defeat the strong boy. For a second you thought he wanted to smash your head, why bringing his club?

his gaze went through you, over to his leader, before he strolled past you, not even looking, as if you were not there. Meanwhile the boys were whispering about something, fear overcome you like a rainy cloud against a mountain on a stormy day.

You never understood Pan's actions or beliefs, but Felix always seemed to have faith in him, no matter what. The lanky blonde boy came back, this time appraching you and as he looked down at you, it was unbearable to be around him. His face showed no emotion, he was not smiling, neither looking angry, nevertheless his face used to look grumpy and cold, shifty and sometimes a bit haphazard. He definitely was no open book.

'You gotta train tomorrow, lassie.' He spoke and frowned, then lifting an eyebrow at you. 'Fishing first or target practise?'

For a few second there was no respond from you, not knowing what to answer, you looked up at him, a bit cowed and he waited a full minute for you to answer, just starring at you insistently, until you broke apart the eyecontact and looked down on your hands.

Felix, again, waited a moment, before he snarled at you and left.

Fuck, why was he so scary? What was so odd with this boy? Almost everything maybe. Calmed down to be alone again, you let out a sight of relief.

The next morning was filled with worries about what this day would bring. Doing target practise with the ruthless boy truly concerned you. Being near him while having a weapon was distress enough! Skipping breakfest you made your way out of the camp, into the woods, past the narrow trees to the highlands, beyond a long journey trough the jungle. Again, this uncertain undefined feeling of being watched. How could you walk this far and still felt like you were not alone? The beach got closer, so the pressure of this strange feeling.

'Leave me alone.' You whispered to yourself, not even sure if you had gone mad and imagined things that were not there. At the beach you started to collect coconuts and other fruits which where to be found only here, making your way back home a few hours later. Going back stressed you, the main reason whz you had stayed this long on the beach, if you were not allowed to. Leaving Neverland without Pan's permission was impossible, but he also controlled you in some ways, like where it was allowed to go or not.

Felix already waited for you, looking angrier than ever, and as you approached you, his eyes turned furious. He grabbed you by the collar and growled at you, 'Where the fuck have you been! I could not find you!'

Too cowed to answer, you looked up with wide eyes and he let go of you.

'Nevermind. We're going fishing.'

With no hesitation he hushed into the jungle, expecting you to follow, which you indeed without any word did.

He moved almost not audible trough the woods, not like you-, cracking sticks and stepping on leaves, just making a lot of sound at all. As you walked next to him, he stared at you again.

'Stop that.' You said. Felix chuckled and raised an eyebrow. 'What are you talking about?'

You scoffed and rolled your eyes. The lost boy stopped intntly and gave you a warning look.

'Starring at me. Stop fucking staring at me all the time!'

He scoffed back at you and walked further through the woods with an grumpy face of unsympathy. You swallowed hard and tried to keep up, no easy task, his stupid long leg almost ran over the ground, causing you to be out of breath real soon. He did not stoppedd or looked back to look after you for half an hour, until he finally rested against a tree. All of a sudden, he pulled out a loaf of bread and offered you a piece to eat.

'You must be hungry.' He replied to your confused face, then remained silent. Chewing on it, you pretended like it was tasty instead of dry and hard to chew, not wanting to insult his gesture. At least it was better than eaing nothing at all. Wondering why he gave you food, you scaned down his face and body. Nothing different, he was just limping a bit from Thomas kick.

Felix layed down into the warm grass, with the warm sunlight in his face and took a nap, as it seemed so. This would be a longer break, you thought, so you made your way uphill- at least you wanted to, but Felix growled.

'Don't you fucking dare running off!' He was hollering at you, jaw clenched and squinting eyes, causing you to flinch and fall back, then hiding behind your legs, scared of him. The lanky blonde boy closed his eyes again, snarled, opened them again and stood up. He aggressively ran his hands trhough his hair, then leaned back and looked up.

'Screw it, break's over, lass.' He murmured in a really bad mood now, before continuing to walk through the jungle. He kind of stormed away, being furious about something. How aggressive, being this mad about one little thing. Was he even angry at you? All you could think of was: What the hell was this? Felix was a strange boy, a scary mobster with an weird attitude. And he scared the shit out of you.

And he scared the shit out of you...
