If you followed Nico around all day, you would think he had a personality disorder. When in all honesty he doesn't; he just shows his true colors to a few select amount of people. Many people see him as a short tempered male that can't get over anything; even a small joke. Which he is...around people that he doesn't know or people he just doesn't really know. Around that one person he is very, very caring and sweet. He likes to be very affectionate with them, no matter who is around. He is bossy, and can be very possessive over that one person that mean something to him. He honestly is sort of is like a teddy bear.

Niko was a fallen angel, he is being hunted down by people that are experimenting on people like him [though he doesn't know it yet]  He has been on Earth for a while now, getting there as a punishment. It was supposed to be temporary until they all forgot about him after a good 10 years. He doesn't really blame them because he knew he was a trouble maker; and that he didn't deserve to be remembered by the people. This did have an affect on him, he learned that he has to try to keep the people that care for him, or seem to, close to him or somewhere near him. Which began to feed into how possessive he is over people that he cares about. He didn't forget about the things that were close to him. He would never forget, no matter how painful it was to hold onto it.
