Rachel's POV
I was at the computer working on some documents, when I heard a distant rumble. Immediately, I ducked under my desk, thinking it was an earthquake, but I realized that something was off. It was like... something big was storming around Sea Shell Bay. Okay Rachel, enough, I told myself. There can't possibly be a monster roaming the streets. Or... can there...?
I cautiously walked outside, then what I saw made me shriek. There was a monster roaming the streets!
I attempted to wake myself up from this obvious dream by pinching myself, but it didn't succeed.
I looked up at the monster, which seemed to be some sort of gigantic love letter, with a black heart on the center of it and a very angry face. Something was hovering next to it...
It was a man! He had light blue hair, a neat purple vest with a red shirt underneath, and what looked like bat wings behind his ears. Oddly familiar, I thought. He was ordering it to attack, and it followed his commands. A strange burning feeling rose up in me, and I had to shout out loud to him.
"Who are you? What are you doing to Seashell Bay?!" I yelled.
"Oh, it's none of your business, human!" he turned around to face me, then he froze as he saw me.
I, too, stopped.
We locked eyes. He looked... so familiar...
"Glitter... Diamond?" he uttered.
"Ira...?" I questioned.
Just then, everything came rushing back to me.
It wasn't a dream, it was real! I am Glitter Diamond, and I'm part of the Glitter Force!
"Ira!" I exclaimed, pointing at him.
"DIAMOND!" he screamed back in shock.
"Why are you attacking Sea Shell Bay again? I thought our war was over!" I asked.
"Oh, this war is far from over," Ira responded. I thought I saw him grimace a little.
"Please stop this, Ira!" I tried to reason with him. "We're not some squabbling kids anymore!"
"If you really want to stop me, transform and fight!" Ira yelled.
Transform? How did I transform again...?
Oh... Rory!
But where is he now...?
I paused and internally panicked. Where is Rory? When did he even leave my side?
"Rachel!" I heard someone call.
I turned around, but nobody was there.
"Over here!"
I looked around more carefully. Still, no one.
"Up here!"
I looked up to see something blue dash at me. I suddenly realized who it was.
"Rory!"
The blue pixie flew into my arms and we embraced.
"Where did you go off to?" Tears of joy flowed freely from my eyes.
"I'm sorry, Rachel... I just thought you—"
"Blah blah blah! Can we just fight already?" Ira shrieked impatiently.
"Fine!" I yelled back at Ira.
Rory transformed into a cellphone. I shrieked a little. It's been a while, okay? Anyway, it took me a while to remember that he had turned into a Glitter Pad.
"Okay... here goes nothing." I took a deep breath.
"Glitter Force... Makeover!"
