1. Crush, Chop and Burn (Part 1)

A/N: Just a quick heads up, most of the chapters will be based on episodes, but some of them will be made up by me. Also, the chapters are gonna be pretty long. Okay, enjoy 😊

*Sophia's P.O.V*

"Welcome to your new home, Mrs Davenport." My new stepdad, Donald Davenport said in a deep voice, carrying my mom bridal style into his, and now our house.

"Why thank you, Mr Davenport." Mom giggled.

"Oh absolutely, Mrs Davenport." Donald smirked as they kissed. Me and my slightly older, but same-height-as-me brother, Leo looked at each other and grimaced.

"Okay, we get it. You got married." Leo said, as we walked carrying their bags.

"It's getting old." I added. Both mine and Leo's mouths dropped as we saw the inside of the house.

"Wow!" Leo yelled as we both dropped the bags.

"You got this huge house just from inventing things?" I asked. Donald nodded, a cocky smile on his face. "Way to go Mom!"

"Now that's a husband!" Leo exclaimed, making Mom and Donald chuckle before we walked over to some weird circular thing on a stick. "What the heck is this?"

"Oh, uh, that's my latest invention. Davenport Industries' fist ever completely interactive 3D TV!" Donald said excitedly. He turned it on, and a holographic image of a baseball field appeared. "Home run!" A little baseball headed for me and Leo. We both tried to catch it but backed up into the wall.

"Hey, watch it, termites!" An electronic sounding voice said.

"Who said that?!" I yelled, startled.

"Mom, I think that little voice inside my head is back." Leo mumbled.

"No, this is my smart home system, Eddy." Donald explained. "Eddy, these are my new stepson and stepdaughter, Leo and Sophia. Remember I told you Tasha and her kids were moving in today?"

"Hey, welcome. Everything here is mine." Eddy said. Donald rolled his eyes.

"Uh, guys, why don't you go check out your new bedrooms? Just go straight down the hallway and when you see the room with all the video games and the action figures and the fifty-foot screen TV..." Mine and Leo's eyes lit up, "Keep walking, that's mine." And the excitement in our eyes was gone.

---------------------

Me and Leo found our new rooms fairly easily. They were right next to each other, and they were both huge. Now, we were just exploring.

"This place is huge!" I exclaimed.

"I'm gonna need a GPS just to find the bathroom!" Leo said, leaning against the wall. I giggled. Leo must've leaned against some secret panel or something, because suddenly, the walls disappeared, revealing a big, steel elevator door, with a symbol of three rings looped together on it. Like the Olympic rings, but red and there was only three rings. Me and Leo looked at each other with wide eyes, and being the curious kids we are, walked into the elevator.

"Hello?" Leo asked cautiously. Suddenly, the elevator doors closed with a hiss, and it went down really fast. Me and Leo both creamed the whole way down. When it finally stopped, and the doors opened, Leo and I walked out slowly.

"Whoa..." I trailed off, looking around room. It looked like some underground lair or something and their were all these cool gadgets everywhere.

"Our new dad is Batman!" Leo exclaimed. I rolled my eyes. The doors on the other side of the room opened and we ran to hide behind some big, yellow barrels, as someone walked in. He was dressed in a dark grey wetsuit thingy. He pressed a button on the wall and the door hissed shut.

"Good luck getting in! This steel door is thicker than your head!" The guy said. I couldn't see his face, but his voice sounded like a teenager. Suddenly, there was a bang, and the doors fell down, revealing a tall, muscular guy. "Well there's another way to get in..." The first guy said, a hint of nervousness in his voice.

"Give me back my ePod!" The bigger guy demanded, walking over and picking up the smaller guy by his collar.

"I don't have it!" He defended. A girl then walked in, dressed in the same suit as the two guys. She had light brown hair pulled into a tight ponytail. The tall guy gasped, seeing the headphones and ePod in her hands.

"You took my ePod!" He exclaimed, dropping the smaller guy, who landed with a thud and glared up at him.

"Taylor Swift mega-mix? Really?" The girl said, and I had to suppress a giggle.

"I find her soothing." The tall guy mumbled. The girl rolled her eyes and walked away, but he shot lasers at her from his eyes. Yeah, lasers. From his eyes.

"Oh, I know you didn't shoot that laser at me." The girl said sassily, turning back to him.

"Oh, I'm sorry. It was a terrible mistake. Just like your face." He smirked. The girl almost screamed in annoyance and super-sped over to him. She pushed him into the yellow barrels and knocked them over, blowing our cover. The three of them saw me and Leo, and screamed. Then Leo and I screamed. Then we all screamed together. Leo ran out from behind the barrels, and into another part of the basement, but as he ran, he bumped into one of the barrels stacked on top of another, causing it to topple. I used my reflex and agile abilities to army roll out of the way. The three teenagers looked at me like I had five heads.

"What?" I mumbled, before running after Leo. I really hope they don't suspect anything. I haven't used my super agility since I found out about it, which was about two weeks before the Dooleys adopted me, simply because I haven't had to use it, until now... The strangers followed me and stood in front of Leo and I, crossing their arms over their chests.

"Okay, I don't play this card too often but... MOM!!!" Leo screamed, causing me to hit his arm, hoping to shut him up. Mom and Donald ran in and Leo ran at Mom and hugged her. Wuss...

"Leo." Mom chuckled, hugging him. "What is this place?" She asked, looking around, before her eyes landed on the three teenage strangers, "Who are they?"

"They?" Donald pointed to them, "They a-are a boyband that I've been working with um..and the twist is that one of them's a girl!" He exclaimed. The teens smiled, going along with it. Mom raised her eyebrows, clearly unconvinced. "Alright. They're part of a secret project I've been developing; genetically engineered superhuman siblings. Tasha, Leo, Sophia, meet Adam, Bree and Chase. The greatest combination of biology and technology ever developed. I don't wanna brag, but...I'm incredibly smart." Donald explained. Mom looked at me and then at Leo.

"Hey, don't look at us. We told you to stay away from internet dating." Leo said, and I nodded in agreement.

"So they're robots?" Mom said. The bionics gasped.

"Whoa!" Chase exclaimed.

"HEY!" Adam yelled.

"Oh no she didn't." Bree sassed.

"No, Tasha, they're human. I've just given each of them each a set of bionic abilities controlled by a microchip implanted in their necks." Donald continued, "See, Adam has brute strength, Bree has speed and agility, and Chase has super-senses and superior intelligence."

"Although, Mr. Davenport, it looks like Bree isn't the only one with agility." Chase said, eyeing me. I slowly started walking back until I bumped into the desk behind me.

"What are you talking about?" Donald frowned.

"Watch." Chase said. He walked behind me, picked something up and threw it at me. I did a somersault onto the desk behind Adam and Bree, successfully missing the empty cardboard box that Chase threw at me. Still standing on the desk, I looked at everyone to see them looking at me with confused and shocked faces.

"What...but how...and the....huh?!" Leo rambled.

"How did you do that?!" Donald asked in amazement.

"I, uh, used to take gymnastics." I lied.

"No you didn't." Leo said.

"I did before you adopted me."

"You were two when we adopted you."

"I was a talented baby, okay?!" I snapped at my brother, making him put his hands up in defence.

"No, that was more than anything you could've practised. That box was moving way too quickly for you to move out of the way in time, but managed it." Donald said in disbelief.

"Honestly, it was just reflexes." I tried to tell him. I sensed something else about to hit me and back flipped off of the desk, landing perfectly on my feet, and ducking the metal crate that Adam threw at me. I looked at Adam with wide eyes.

"A metal crate, really?!"

"Chase told me to do it!" Adam pointed an accusing finger at Chase, who looked guilty.

"That could've killed me!" I yelled.

"But it didn't," Chase said, folding his arms and raising his eyebrows at me, "Care to explain why?"

"I told you, I just have good reflexes." I said, avoiding eye contact.

"Adam threw that crate from behind you, without you having any idea of what he was doing, and yet, you still knew it was coming. Normal human reflexes aren't that good. And that flip...an Olympic gymnast couldn't nail a landing that immaculate." Donald said.

"Okay what is going on here?!" Mom finally demanded.

"Yeah, what's with all the..." Leo flailed his arms around while pointing at the desk I flipped onto, "And the..." He pointed at where I was stood now, still flailing his arms.

"I'll tell you what's going on," Chase began, "Sophia here," Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. "Is bionic." And he said it...

"What?!" Leo and Mom yelled in unison.

"You're bionic?!" Leo looked at me.

"I-I...um...maybe?" I could see Leo was hurt. We've always been close, and he just found out a gigantic secret I've been keeping from him for the past twelve years. Wouldn't you be hurt?

"Okay, I think we need to give these guys some privacy. Who wants dinner?!" Donald asked. Adam, Bree and Chase cheered and walked over to these weird glass tube things.

"Woah, what are those, time machines?!" I asked, hoping I could change the subject.

"No, they're not time machines. The time machines are actually in the shop. These are my biologically regulated atmospheric chambers where my bionics eat, sleep and live." Donald said.

"Cool, so do they-"

"Sophia." Mom cut me off with a warning tone. I huffed and followed her and Leo into the small room with the barrels. The door closed, giving us privacy, and Leo and Mom looked at me.

"Sophia, what is all this? There is no way you're bionic." Mom said.

"But I am." I mumbled, looking down. "I am bionic." I looked up and met Leo's eyes. There was pain and disappointment in them. He shook his head at me, before slamming the elevator panel, and storming in when it opened. I looked back at Mom, who also looked disappointed, but not as upset at Leo. She stared at me for a second, before following Leo.
