Adam looked around the room. He was so tired. Maybe he could just- 

"ADAM." Mark barked, slamming the door open. Adam jumped, staring at Mark in shock. Mark stared at Adam's chest. "Why do you have no shirt?" He asked. 

"I was in the midst of changing!" Adam shouted, covering his chest like a girl would. 

"Well hurry up and change! We got things to discuss, patients to discover!" Mark shouted, sitting down on a pulled up chair. 

"Yeah yeah." Adam sighed, putting on a red shirt. 

"Okay. So we got a new patient. Please treat him well, he came here because he attempted suicide. He'll be staying in the room next door, at room 315. 

Adam remained quiet at the thought of attempting suicide. He once thought of it, but it was childish thoughts. Taking your own life without considering the outcome is reckless, and selfish. 

"What's his name?" Adam asked. 

"Sean McLoughlin. But he's better known as Jack." Mark explained, setting his case file down. "His father is a scientist, a rich one at that. Justin McLoughlin, he's known for his inventions and strong motto."

"Then why suicide?" Adam asked. 

"His mother was killed by an unknown cause. It's still a mystery today." Mark explained. 

"Ah." Adam replied, sitting down on the bed. He laid back. Mark's messy hair hovered over Adam's vision. 

"I'll try my best." Adam added. 

"That's what I like to hear!" Mark smiled wide.

Adam shut his eyes. 

Ty sat up, staring at the door. Ty felt an uneasy tension between his circuits. "Adam, you holding up?" Ty brought his hands up and covered his eyes, his elbows sticking out. He bit his lip, an uncomfortable habit of his.

I added the last two characters. Side character's obviously are Adam's parents, Sean's killed mother, and the side protagonist; Mark. Nurse's part is actually played as the reader. More of asking the questions the reader's are most likely asking, and the comic relief. Y'know, the positive side to an unintentionally sad story. Bringing back tension in a better matter.
