I made a cover! :D

X-eye-zooooo-ma-void's POV

I sat down in my office. I had a small office tucked away in my storage tower, were I had virtual panels everywhere, a small bed, and usually some tea. All the admin work was done here. I sat down in my swivel chair, getting distracted by spinning round and round. I stopped myself after a few spins, getting up a panel filled with code. I went over everything in the nether, taking note of what and wasn't working properly. I had an admin meeting a few days to discuss the update on multi-player severs.

After hours of combing through the code, I left my base to stock up my shops. I decided to make a new, simple mini-game; dodgeball! I built a small arena just off the coast of the shopping district, and got to work. An hour later and I had everything I needed. I decided to test it After running after a chicken for five minutes trying to catch it, I put it down on the opposite side of the arena, and pulled out some potions. I threw an egg the chicken laid, and fed the little chicken inside, growing it up. If every player was on a few hearts, like a chicken, I could throw a potion to get them out of the game. I went to my brewery, and grabs a couple of different potions, not checking the labels. I flew back and started testing.

I first threw a splash potion of harming, which killed one of the chickens. I then walked closer to the separating wall in the arena, and splashed the chicken on the other side with a turtle master potion. He died as well, though I wasn't sure why. The last potion I ad was a healing potion, which I put in the ender chest I had brought along. I made a mental note to check the coding of potions, when I realised I had splashed myself with the turtle master potion. I laughed at myself, of course I didn't realise until a few minutes later. Of course.

I left it on, the slowness bearable. I packed up my things and flew back to my base. I packed all my items into my storage again and went back to working on the code.

I had not slept in 5 days. I had to deal with countless glitches in the nether, and had to do admin paper work overnight. Why did I offer to help Hypixel with his while he builds a new bedwars and skywars map? I hope I'm the first to play them. I took off my helmet, massaging my temples. I fell asleep at my desk, my tea getting cold.

-Pesky- wait no. TIME SKIP-

I woke up the next day, my throat and neck feeling very tingly. I stood up, still half-asleep. When I looked in the mirror near my desk, I saw some small gill like things were on my neck. I was suddenly wide awake, touching the gills. I panicked, running to my admin panels to check my code. Something happened to when I drank a potion a week ago, as it was glitched. I suddenly heard a rocket from outside. I quickly pulled my helmet over my head. Stress had crashed into my tower and said a mess of words before blacking out. I dragged her to a bed I had near my desk, and put her in. She had a faint glow surrounding her, and I went over to my admin panels to check her code. The last time she was shot by a spectral arrow was a week ago? It was glitched, just like mine was. I combed through her code, as well as mine, checking if we had any other bits of glitched code.

I heard a noise come from behind me, and I saw Stress had gotten out of bed. "No. Back to bed Stress." I scolded her, yawning afterwards.

"You need help. I'm feeling fine X. I want to know what happened." she protested.

"There is something wrong in the code, that's it."

"But X... look." she pointed at the table I was sitting at; the same one she was holding a second ago. "I can make things glow!"

But I had fallen asleep.

-TIME SKIP-

When I woke up, I was in my bed. I sat up, remembering what had happened. I checked, it had been a whole day! I rushed back to my admin panel, seeing that Stress was doing ok. I calmed down, and decided to give myself the day off. I slipped back into bed, falling asleep within minutes.

-Yep, another time skip-

I woke up the next day, feeling refreshed and awake for the first time in a week. I immediately went back to checking the code. A few days later and I had made no progress. I constantly fell asleep, meaning a week later, I had reports of False having wings and no clue to why anything was happening.

-time skip to the end of that week-

I was combing through the codes again, when I get a ding from my communicator. I read what Scar had sent me, and rushed over to Larry. I saw Stress examining an unconscious Grian (ha my computer changed it to Grain).

"What happened?!" I asked

"I don't know! He just busted into Larry, almost like he couldn't breathe. Also, I can talk to Jellie and understand what she is staying. I was about to come and see you when G came." Scar exclaimed.

I was shocked. I made a mental note to check Scar's code.

"Wait, what?! Ok. We don't have time to deal with that. Others are getting effected and glitched as well. Stress can now make things glow. I will take a look later." I said, failing to mask my worry. I was thinking of going back to check Grian's code when Scar looks at me.

"Xisuma? Did Grian do anything that would have involved a potion or effect on him?"

Something clicked in my brain. "He went to an ocean monument..." I mumbled. Before I knew it, Scar had taken off, carrying Grian with him.

I followed him, panicking my head off. When I catch up, I see Scar looking away from Grian, who had turned into a mer-maid. I gasped. What was going on...

As I said, I made the cover. I also renamed the story, as I finally thought of a better name.
