The entire situation that Paper Crane is in...it is very...new, too say the least. He has never once been in a war of some kind, due to the fact that he is constantly traveling the AUs that he is in. He is still trying to learn and study about the Multiverse that he is in, still try to learn about his place in the AUs, but not once did he learn about what it means to be in a war. And unfortunately, he got his answer, in the form of a battle happening, in the Omega Timeline, where he had been nearly attacked by a various number of Sanses, with Shattered and Nightmare present in the Omega Timeline, and it seems that they have not given up in finding him.

He looked and witnessed the destruction that had been wrought by Team Void, and needless to say, Paper Crane wished that he knows how to lie, that way, it would make himself feel better in that he is feeling good, when in reality, he is not feeling good about what he had seen at all. It was one of the more horrific sights that he has ever seen. He had seen 2 people fight before, but only when it involves DeS and the Player, and it was already bad enough. But what he has seen...it was of many people fighting against each other, an army, as he believed that it is called.

This made Paper Crane very unhappy at what he had seen, and because of this, he had been deciding to take some alone time to AUs that had been involved in the genocide run, and thus, are mostly empty. And that is not the only reason. During the battle, the device that is used to feed Paper Crane magic, it had been damaged, and thus, is beginning to malfunction. Because of this, he needed to teleport out of the Omega Timeline as to prevent it from getting destroyed by his own hands. As sometimes it will function like normal, and most of the time, it will not work and it will threaten to possibly destroy the Omega Timeline, which forces Paper Crane to flee and prevent himself from the possibility that he might accuse toy destroy it, and even though he is unsure of the Omega Timeline can be destroyed, he does not want to take any chances on the fact that it might happen with him still present, and so he now goes to different AUs in order to feed off on their life force, to do it without killing anyone.

And right now...now he is inside of an Outertale AU, and his colored had been altered in which he now has the coloration of the Sans that resides in Outertale, meaning that he is has yellow, blue, and white coloration, as well as having white eye lights.

He is shown to be writing inside of his journal, which he got from DeS, before he had died from the AU being destroyed by him. But even so, he has not forgotten what DeS has done for him, teaching him all that he knows, giving Paper Crane sentience, which made him start to think for himself, and it is something that he has not experienced before. Right now, Paper Crane is thinking on what it is that has just happened, seeing a war for the first time inside of the Omega Timeline, and it is needlessly one of the scairest moments that he had ever seen before in his entire life, for he has never been in a war before. He has been in battles, sure, but never in a legitimate war in his entire life, which he wrote in his journal. But what he also wrote in his journal is that he has been able to find some new friends, such as the alternate version of Dream with the 999 Golden Apples that empowered him, Righteous!Error, who has been helping him with his problem, and GlitchDust, who has been able to rescue him from Team Void and their clutches.

After he is done writing in his journal, he took a deep breath and sighed, as he then stood up, and he puts the Journal back inside of his poncho, where he keeps it safe, as a voice spoke out to him.

"Are you doing okay, Paper Crane?"

Paper Crane turns around and looks to see that Core is now present inside of Outertale, as she looks at him.

Paper Crane nodded his head, as he then spoke out.

"I'm doing a little okay...but I'm...still shaken at what I had seen happen, the war in the Omega Timeline, not to mention the device on me has gotten broken."

Core nodded her head, as she spoke out to him.

"I understand. Don't worry, the scientists and inventors down there are doing all that they can to make another device for you to use, then after that, you can go back inside of the Omega Timeline, safe from harm, as well as safe from Team Void.

Paper Crane nodded his head, as he then looks around and spoke out.

"I...I need to go. The AU, it will start to break because of me at any minute."

Core nodded, as Paper Crane turned around, and began to teleport to a new location. Core signed sadly, as Righteous!Error puts his hand onto Corr's shoulder, assuring to her that he will be alright. Core looks at Righteous!Error, as he then hugs him.

With Paper Crane, he's now arrived an another AU, also from a Genocide Run. It appears that he is now in what seems to be an Underfell genocide run, due to the red atmosphere and the red sky that is all around and over him. And it...it appears to be dying all on its own.

Paper Crane stares down at the AU that is about to die on it's own accord, just as it's story is about to end. And luckily for him, the AU is about to end also by Paper Crane, as the device now stopped working, and temporarily enough for Paper Crane to connect with it, as his color changed, now resembling Underfell Sans in a way, due to the coloration.

Now he has red eyes, black, golden, and red clothing, as well as sharp teeth. Although, unlike the original Underfelll, he does not have a golden tooth in his mouth. But even with the personality changing, he still remains himself in mind. He sits down onto his knees, as he passively absorbs the life force of the dying AU. It is not much, but it is better then being empty, dying, and being force for absorb an AU that still has life.

As he is in Snowdin, he sees everything around him breaking apart, crumbling to bits and pieces of what it once was. The entire AU is crumbling at the end coming, and now it is being quickened by Paper Crane's presence draining the life force of the AU that he is inside of. Paper Crane took a deep breath, as he can feel the life force of the AU enter his body. He can feel himself feeling sustained by the remaining life force of the AU that he is on, as the entire Underfell Genocide AU came to an end. And after a little while, it is gone. The entire AU, it had finally disappeared, and now...now it has been reduced to a white space, or rather, an Anti-Void. The last of the AU crumbled, as Paper Crane changed back to his normal colors. Well, there is one plus side to this sort of thing, in that Paper Crane is able to lessen Nightmare and Shattered's powers by getting rid of an AU that is filled with Negativity. Although Paper Crane has no idea what will happen to Dream's power, he hopes that it does not impact it in a very bad way. Hopefully it simply does not change Dream's power even at a single bit of it.

Paper Crane stood up, as he looked around a little bit, and he sighed, as he spoke out.

"The entire place that I am in...it just that much big of a mess. Why? Why did I have to get involved in this. I have nothing that Team avoid wants."

As he looks down, he continues to hear voices inside of his mind, the voices of the Sanses that had made him into who he is, the ones that had died inside of the void, but their will to live become so immensely strong that it had lead to the creation of Paper Crane himself.

But as he looked down, he then heard the sounds of wet splats and sloshing, as he than turned around /'d he saw black goop beginning to form from a black puddle, as tentacles began to rise. Paper Crane, in a panic, stepped back, and he then teleported just before it can fully form.

Paper Crane then is shown to be inside of another AU, one that appears to be fresh and not on the verge of death. And luckily, since the AU that he has absorbed it's life force of has made him full, due to the device that he has filling him up while it is activated, he is able to go inside of the AU without the risk of destroying the AU that he is in. And it appears that he is back inside of the Outertale Genocide, or rather, the neutral version of Outertale, as Snowdin appears to be empty. Paper Crane looks around the area that he is in, and realizes that he is in another Outertale.

Paper Crane began to walk around, the voices inside of his mind are silent for the monent, as he takes a look around the place that he is in. And then, it finally clicked inside of him what this one is.

"Wait...this version of Outertale...this is where the Trio from before...this is where I had met them. But...why am I back here?"

As Paper Crane spoke out, a voice spoke out.

"There you are."

This made Paper Crane jump, as he turned around to see who it is that had appeared, and it is none other than Nightmare Sans, who has been able to locate him.

Paper Crane flinched and stepped back in fear, as he spoke out.

"Leave me alone. I want nothing to do with you!!"

This made Nightmare scoff, as he then spoke out.

"I do not care what you want. And besides...my plans for you have no change. Not even a single bit."

He then launched a tentacle at Paper Crane, who than jumped out of the way to avoid getting grabbed at, as Paper Crane began to run away from Nightmare as fast as he can. Clearly, Nightmare is very determined to try and take Paper Crane for his plans in Team Void. But Paper Crane refuses to come along, as he will not be taken by Nightmare and used in whatever plans that he has. He knows, from Abyss, that Nightmare is one of the evil Sanses that had tried to take him, and he will not be the one that Nightmare takes, as he runs away. But Nightmare is going to try and catch up to him, no matter what happens. He turned into his liquid form, and began to go as fast as he can to Paper Crane.

"You cannot escape from me, Paper Crane."

But Paper Crane, realizing that he will need to get away in another type of route, then jumps as high as he can, as he begins to move in space, the gravity not existing, as he goes to try and move out of the way. But then, Nightmare spoke out to him.

"You are not going anywhere."

He then launched a tentacle, and tries to wrap it around Paper Crane, and Paper Crane moved his legs up, as to not be wrapped around by Nightmare's tentacles. He pushes upwards, hoping to gain a little bit more speed, as Paper Crane then landed onto an asteroid.  It Nightmare is not one that gives up on a chase, as he then goes up and rushes at the asteroid that Paper Crane is on, and used his entire body to split it into pieces. But luckily for Paper Crane, he is able to get onto a piece of the asteroid unharmed, which was big enough to cover his body, as Nightmare looked around, and see that he cannot find him, for he is not appearing. This made Nightmare narrow his eyes, as he then spoke out.

"You cannot escape from me, Paper Crane. I will find you, and I will take your into Team Void. Your power to destroy AUs will be mine to exploit."

But as Nightmare said, a golden light appeared, and rammed into him, as a familiar voices shouted out to him.

"NO, NIGHTMARE!!!!"

Paper Crane looked with his empty sockets, as he sees that Dream has appeared and rammed into Nightmare, covering his body into a golden shield, as he shouted out to him.

"Your right is with me!!"

Both Nightmare and Dream landed onto the ground of Outertale, as Dream and Nightmare stood up, and Paper Crane noticed something. Dream, he now looks a little bit more different then before. The 2 ends of the crown that are touching each other at the front, they are now opened a little bit, revealing a star-shaped structure at the front. And his right eye, it had also changed in its own unique way. It now has orange waves that go up, and looks similar to that of a sun, and Dream looks at Nightmare with immense defiance, as he takes out his spear, and points it at his brother from the Alternate Multiverse, with Nightmare even speaking out to Dream.

"You have gotten in the way for the last time, Dream. Now...you will pay for it. I have underestimated you from before, and here, I will not do so again."

Nightmare then unleashed his Tentacles at Dream, who than got out of the way as fast as he can, before he than used his Spear to extend the head of the weapon and used it similar to a whip, as a golden cable attached to the pieces of the spearhead itself. Dream than threw a spear at Nightmare, who then used his tentacles to block the attack, although it did hurt him a little bit. Dream rushes in to try and slash at Nightmare, only for Nightmare to avoid the slaves, as Paper Crane then tried to get away from the right, so that Nightmare can be distracted and leave him be.

But Nightmare then saw Paper Crane trying to get away, as he then blocks Dream for a little bit, before he avoid the attack, and he than unleashed his tentacle, not at Dream, but at Paper Crane, and this time, Paper Crane does indeed get caught, as his neck is wrapped around by the negative tentacles that Nightmare is using on him, as he reeled him into the fight. And Dream, pointing his arrow, shouts out.

"Leave him be, Nightmare!! He has nothing to do with this!! He is not even supposed to be involved in this!!"

But Nightmare then made a dangerous smile, as he then spoke out to him.

"Oh, but it is the case, brother. I made him involved when I decided to use his power to destroy AUs in my plans. And if you take one more step...his head is mine."

This made Dream narrowed his eyes, as he has no idea what to do. He could attack Nightmare, but he will still live and kill Paper Crane. But then...something unexpected happened. Nightmare can feel the tentacle beginning to be forced off of Paper Crane, and Nightmare turned to see Paper Crane beginning to change form, as he then shouted out to the Guardian of Negativity.

"Let...me...GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

Paper Crane roared, as his body changed into that of a beast, as Paper Crane freed himself from the tentacles of Nightmare.

Not wanting to get hurt, Paper Crane turned into his Blaster Form, as he roared in pure rage. He forced the tentacles off of him, as he grabbed Nightmare and threw him into a tree in Snowdin. This caught Nightmare by surprise, as he did not expect for that to happen, as he shouted out.

"What?!"

Nightmare shouted out, and then, Paper Crane, on all 4 of his limbs, rushed over to Nightmare, and he began to attack him.

He uses his claws and tail to hurt and whip him, as he sliced and struck chunks of Nightmare's body off of him, before he than throws him, and he then opened his mouth, firing a beam of black energy at Nightmare, as he is struck by the power of the creature made from the void itself. The blast was so immense that it had damaged a large section of Snowdin, as Paper Crane changed back to normal, and he shook his head, looking at what he has done. But as he did, Nightmare reformed his body, now a lot more weakened then before, as he then spoke out to Paper Crane.

"You...you will pay for this...Paper Crane."

But as he said that, Error404 appeared, and Paper Crane was launched back by the power that Error404 Sans has in his body, as Error404 spoke out.

"You already had your turn, Nightmare. Now it is my turn to take him."

Paper Crane then shouted out to Error404.

"Leave me alone!!!"

He changes to his Blaster Form again, as he rushed at Error404 and attempts to bite him. But Error404 easily dodged his attacks, blocked his claw swipes, and countered his tail whip, as he than grabbed Paper Crane by the poncho, and threw him into a all without minimal effort, causing a crack to appear in the wall itself.

"Is that all you can do? Pathetic?"

Paper Crane then opened his mouth once again, as he then fired a void blast from it. But Error404 summoned his Dark Blaster and fired it, at low power. But even at low power, Paper Crane is still overpowered, as he then got hit by the power of the Dark Blaster, sending him backwards through the wall. But when that happens, as he changed back, all of a sudden...he is then pulled into another portal that he automically made, just as Dream, who saw Paper Crane get pulled into the portal, flee, knowing that Paper Crane will get away from him, as Error404 now looked annoyed, and Nightmare roared at the sight of Paper Crane getting away from him once again.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The Void...

Paper Crane opened his eyes, as he looks around the area that he is inside of right now. He looks around, and he sees nothing but darkness, one that stretches infinitely and endlessly, as it consumes even the vision of Paper Crane, as he cannot see his body. Paper Crane looks around, as the voices inside of him, they speak of sadness and frustration. This is mainly because of the fact that they are getting targeted, even though they want nothing to do with the situation that they are in right now, and all they want is to get out of what they are inside of.

"I...I don't understand. Why? Why is this happening to me?"

He then curled into a fetal position, as he held his knees to his chest, and felt tears coming out of his eyes. The stress that he is in is becoming way too much, and he continues to speak out.

"I...I just want to be alone. I'm...I'm so tire of getting hurt. I just want to know my place in the existence that I have, not be involved in something that I don't want to be in!"

Paper Crane is so stressed that he simply cannot take it anymore. All he wants now, is to be alone, so that he does not have to be hurt anymore. But as he spoke to himself, a voice then spoke out.

"Hello...young one."

This made Paper Crane stop sobbing, as he then wipes away at his tears, and he looks to see that he is on a large rock of some sorts, in the shape of a small island. He stood up, and he looks in front of him to see someone. And the person in front of him, he looks very creepy. But at the same time...he feels...strange...like he has a sort of connection to the person that is before his very eyes.

In front of him...is an entity that strongly resembles a Gaster, except that he is wearing clothing that is all black, instead of the white sweater that he has when he was inside of the Void. And his left eye, it is like infinity symbols interlock with each other. He has black fur on his shoulders, has some unique cracks on his face, and Paper Crane...he does not know why...but he can feel himself connected to the entity...as if he is made in a similar way to himself. And he feels what the man is feling at his very core. He feels...Neutrality.

Paper Crane looked rather uneasy at the sight before. His right eye light staring into the mysterious entity's left eye light. He steps back, as he spoke out to the man that is before his eyes, unsure of what to think or say...except for this.

"Who...Who are you?"

The mysterious man stepped forward, and all of a sudden, he is in front of Paper Crane, which made him flinch, despite the fact that the mysterious man was 10 feet from him. It is a though the man had teleported by manipulating space in front of him. Stars are now shown inside of the void, as he then spoke out.

"I am known as the Man of Mysteries, but my real name...is Exul. and who might you be, young one?"

Paper Crane looked a little uneasy, but he then spoke oit.

"I'm Paper Crane."

The Man of Mysteries, also named Exul, looks down at Paper Crane, for he is at the height of 7'5, and Paper Crane at 6'2. The man looked confused. It is as if he is trying to read his emotions, but he cannot for some reason. The man spoke out.

"You are a very intriguing monster. Not mamy entities are able to survive in the void itself...not to mention...having a piece of the void within one's body. Only I do, for I had been molded and born from the void itself. How did you gain the void inside of yourself?"

Paper Crane looks down, as Exul waits patiently for an answer, as Paper Crane.

"I...I don't know. ever since the beginning of my life...I have seen the void itself, especially since I had woken up for the first time."

Exul looked intrigued, as he then spoke out.

"Are you saying you were born from the void?"

Paper Crane nodded. Now this made Exul intrigued, as he than narrowed his eyes, and he stares into Paper Crane's right eye light with his left eye light...and he then heard...voices. Voices of countless Sanses. This made Exul realized what he is. And he can feel it...he very young, only a few years old. Exul than spoke out, the pitch of his tone changed.

"Intriguing...powerful...yet young. You are like me, but different. An amalgamation of those dead, yet the will to live became too strong. You are of multiple kinds, yet you are one consciousness controlling this shell."

He then waved his hand, as he formed chairs out of nothing, as he sat down and looked at Paper Crane, and he then spoke out to him.

"You can take a seat, Paper Crane. For there is something that I want to ask you."

Paper Crane did, reluctantly, as he sat down. He looks at Exul, his creepy smile on his face. He has no idea if he is truly friend or foe. All of the voices spoke in confusion and fear at the sight of the man, not sure if they can trust him. Paper Crane then tried to speak, but as soon as he tried...no words came out. It's as if Exul had stopped the vibration of his voice from making sound. Exul than spoke out to Paper Crane.

"Before you speak...Paper Crane...allow me to say something of my own. I...Exul...I have been around for billions of years. I had seen the beginning of the Multiverse, had seen how it forms, and I had seen countless beings, even the first entities within the Multiverse, the first gods to arise. And yet...even after all this...I never knew that someone similar to me, just like you, can exist. A being from the void, yet unlike me...you do not have a soul. Yet in spite of that, you can feel. I want to know...why were you created within the void?"

Paper Crane, feeling like he should be able to speak again, spoke out.

"Why...was I created? That is what...that is what I have been wondering. I always questioned my existence as to why I exist. I wondered what my role within the world that I am in is. And yet...I never knew the answer. All I got were more questions. And that is what I have been wondering...to know why I exist. The role that I have in this place that I am in."

Exul intertwined his hands together, as he spoke out.

"So you wonder around, wanting to know your place. Have you ever chose a side?"

This made Paper Crane confused, as he spoke out.

"Chose a side? What do you mean?"

Exul then spoke out.

"Have you ever chosen a side of good and evil, of light and darkness?"

Paper Crane shook his head, as he then spoke out.

"No. I never did choose a side. In fact, all I did...all I did is try to know the place that I am in from various sources, from different people, and many of them were kind to me, and some...were not. And thus, I travel the Multiverse I am in, alone."

Exul nodded, as he spoke out.

"So you are a being of neutrality. Just like I am."

This made Paper Crane confused, as he spoke out.

"What do you mean?"

Exul then explained himself.

"When I was born...I had a soul that had no meaning behind it. A life without definition. And then...when I saw the first light, I saw a child in there...and then...the child began to tamper with time, altering and scrambling the void for countless years. The void becomes unstable. This led to the infinite rumble of everyone, because time has changed. Time moves forward, stops, accelerates, but never regresses. In the end, I felt hopeless in reality. I began to feel suspicious that I would never be free. The mixture of hatred and hope has led to a truly unprecedented reaction. The mixture of these two substances once again forms my container: however, this time, the void does not oppose it. What I felt...is a pure sense of neutrality. The neutrality became my soul, and thus, I became a being that was born from the void itself. A monster that chooses no sides, but my own."

He then looks at Paper Crane, who seemed in awe and intrigued by this, as Exul spoke out him.

"You say you desire to know what your role is in your existence, right?"

Paper Crane nodded his head, as Paper Crane then spoke out to the Man of Mysteries.

"Yes, I do. And I...I have been trying to know what I my life is. Can...can you help me in this? Can...can you teach me all that you know...so that I can know my place in this life I am in?"

Exul looks down, as he then spoke out.

"Perhaps...perhaps I can...I can reach you all that I know, as well as help you with the void itself, the void that you can control, just as I can. However..."

He looks at Paper Crane, and he then spoke out.

"In exchange for me teaching you all that you know, and helping you with you desire in knowledge in the role of your existence...you must always be with me, until we are done. Do not go to anyone else, and instead, be with me, okay?"

Paper Crane nodded his head, as perhaps this is the only way to prevent himself from being taken by Team Void, so that Team Hope and the Multiverse will be safe from what he will do to them if he is enslaved, as he then spoke.

"Okay...I'll do that. I won't go with anyone, and be with you only."

Exul nodded as he smiled a little bit, as he then took the device off of Paper Crane, and made glass fragments in the same of a sunflower, the center part opened up, a quasar inside of it, as it sucked in the device, it ceases to exist, as if it wasn't there, as he spoke out.

"Excellent. Now then..."

He held his hand out and a portal opened, as he walks to the portal, and Paper Ceane follows him, and Exul spoke.

"Let us start your first lesson."
