You probably might've heard of me about hosting a Kik comp, and I will. But for those who didn't... I'll explain.

Before you guys sign up, what is the Kik comp?

Kik comps are competition that take place in a messaging app named Kik. It's free if you want to download it, and it's both available to Android and iOS systems.

Kik Competitions are like the TV show, Total Drama, in general. For those who have watched it (I didn't watch it, though), you might have an idea of what this Kik comp is about.

For those who don't, well I'm going to explain.

The Kik comps is like Total Drama as I've said before. It's where competitors compete to win. But it could get a little dramatic... Hence why the show is named Total Drama.

But if you have heard of Radishologist Kik Comps, you'd also have an idea of how exactly this works.

But for those who don't, Kik comps work like this:

All contestants will be added to a group chat (perhaps several of them), and we will announce the challenges every other dayish. There are two types of challenges:

Timed challenges - this kind of challenge gives you several hours to complete it. It's okay if you're not there for the announcement of the challenge but you must complete timed challenges. Failure to do timed challenges will result in elimination unless excused.

Speed challenges - attendance is a MUST in these kind of challenges. The contestants will have to be there at the announcement of the challenge. It's advisable that you attend speed challenges but it's okay to miss a few.

Speed challenges are challenges where the first person/team to answer/do it gets a point, and the person/team with the highest ponts wins the challenge.

There is one more type of challenge but I'm not going to explain them yet. I will explain this type of challenge once the signups are closed.

So all the contestants will be divided to teams depending on the amount of contestants joining. The teams/players will have to compete in challenges. After the challenge, we will announce the team that wins and the team that loses. The losing team will have to vote someone off by messaging us hosts. The person with the most amount of votes will be eliminated. That will go on until the teams merge, where every player is for himself/herself. Then it will go on again until there is one winner.

Keep in mind that this was inspired by Radishologist's Kik comps, so credits to all this goes to him!

So on to the main points.

There will be a theme about the Kik comps. It could be about school, Christmas, the UN, or video games. It could be about something else. Who knows? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And we have our own twists added to the Kik comps as well! Be on the lookout for that!

So how do you guys sign up?

Requirements:

1. You must have Kik to participate.

Duh. This is why it's called Kik comps.

2. You must have Wattpad to participate.

If you're reading this, you already pass this requirement. But please keep in mind that you still need Wattpad, as some of the challenges are going to be based on it.

3. You must be active on Kik.

Once the comps begin, you should be more active on Kik. Inactivity may lead to elimination. If you are not active, then either be more active, or don't sign up.

If you already passed those requirements, then here's what you're going to do.

Private message me or Naomi here on Wattpad or Kik telling us that you want to sign up for the comp. Just tell us your name or nickname that you're going by and your timezone (and Kik username if you are messaging us in Wattpad).

Signups will close by October 31, 2017! The Kik comps will begin in November 12, 2017. That gives you about two months to sign up!

What about the prizes?

It will be follows (from the two of us co-hosts, if we haven't followed you yet), multiple reading list adds of the chosen book (will be added in my personal reading list, as well as another reading list), as well as profile broadcasts!

Those prizes will affect the Wattpad recommendation system! So if done right, this is a starting point for your journey for thousands, if not millions of reads.
