Last time on Glitch's Temple, the contestants had to guess what short story did the quotes come from. Basically, it's another "guess the quote" challenge but with the quotes all coming from my work "Glitch's Short Stories" (go read it *wink* *wink*). With help from the Justice Strategy™, Collin won the challenge and has immunity. As a result, Xavier was eliminated. What more do I have in the archives for these contestants? I don't think there was much drama happening behind the scenes, which probably made this the most boring comp since eternity.

Anyways, the contestants had to make a short story about Glitch's Temple. The prompt went like this: The contestants (assuming they are the Champions of Glitch's Temple) have to save Glitch's Temple from a war. How they do it is completely up to them. The winner of this challenge gets to choose who goes home.

Collin and Poke published their entries on Wattpad while Tech messaged me his entry a couple hours after I announced the challenge. Abdallah, Ry, and Sky later submitted their entries.

Here are Abdallah and Tech's entries.

Abdallah's entry:

"The Battle for Tunisia 1200 years ago had been recorded to detail on the temple walls. This tapestry depicts a army of samurais attacking black-clad figures, the Guardians of the Temple, the Disciples. The Temple of Glitch dated back to as early as 200 BC, but was crushed in the squabble between the tribe the 'SonsOfGlitch' and the Nazuri, a tribe that soon took over half of China.

This 'Glitch' seems to have been worshipped as a deity, and though not much is known about 'him', the two groups have fought over his temple. The tapestry shows the two respectable leaders squaring off each other. They had talken, and though they seemed furious with each other, they both had a certain sadness and longing for peace in their expressions, and in their eyes."

I read the crumbling sign out as I sighed. The petty new generation knew nothing about our fight with the corrupt Nazuri, only minor details. But still, I was shaken by the amount of knowledge they had gleaned from a mere page from the real book of history. Glitch had spread slander of my clan, and had killed many of my men before I had murdered him. The Temple of Glitch, I scoffed, it had been the Temple of Helios of the Sun before the villain had portrayed himself as a worthy 'lord'.

I jumped over the dead body of my comrade and burst through the double doors. The stench of death was unbearable. Our numbers were depleting by the second. I screamed out in agony, a sword had been slid through my ribcage. I slumped down, taking a good look at my attacker. Oleios Glitch. I stood up and swung my baton at him with a cry of anger, and he simply side-stepped and twisted my wrist, effectively breaking it.

He spoke calmly to me as I writhed on the floor, but I blocked the disease. Each time he spoke, he cracked another finger of my hand. I yelled out, but he simply punched me in the jaw. The pain was unbearable, black dots threatened to swarm my vision. I gave up the fight for control of my body and slept."

Tech's entry:

"When the sun falls
And the moon rises
The technology will be revealed
To defeat the mighty glitch."

It was really hard to decide who wins because all the entries were good.

Anyways, after much debating, I decided to give Ry the win.

Fun fact: Sky was 2nd, and Poke was 3rd.

Before I say anything else, you also may have three questions in your mind.

"Why do you suck at life?"

I've been asking that question too.

"You announced that you were leaving for a couple days. What happened to the comps in that period?"

Since I was going to Majayjay, Laguna (Philippines), I had to get someone else to take over for my comps. I noticed that Leo, Andrew, and Naomi wasn't active enough (from what I saw) to hold the comps on their own and I was worried about that issue. So, I had to get someone else to help out while I'm gone because there's little to no WiFi in that place.

So, I decided to have Todd host the comps for a while.

Yes, I know he has a history of rigging, but he's the only person I can go to who is pretty active and available and has experienced hosting comps. I know he'll do a decent job at taking for a while.

And the third question you've been asking:

"Where is Nathan's entry?"

Nathan's entry doesn't exist.

Because he didn't do the challenge, Nathan has been smitten.

Todd held the elimination ceremony since I wasn't there.

Originally, she chose Tech.

Speaking of Tech, he has been selected to do the Oracle Challenge. The Oracle Challenge was to make a 20 line poem or seven haikus about Glitch's Temple. He had until the elimination ceremony to do so.

But for some reason, he didn't do the Oracle Challenge.

So, Tech has been smitten.
