[1] Challenge 9

Last time on Glitch's Laboratory, the scientists had to create memes about Glitch's Laboratory. All of them are pretty clever, but in the end, Poke won with his memes. So, Poke had immunity, and both Sky and Andrew was eliminated, but Andrew was brought back. What more do I have in store for these scientists? Find out now, in Glitch's Laboratory!

Remaining scientists:
Ace, Alice, Andrew, Collin, Poke, Todd, Xavier

The scientists had to plan a spaceship that is capable of interstellar travel. They can draw it on paper or on something else, as long as they explain what is the science behind their rockets. Whichever we found the best will win immunity and something extra.

The choice of who is eliminated.

At first, the Todd was freaking out because it was too hard. I could've done something easier, but no because I like to make things harder.

But as soon as he saw that the winner will have the choice of who is eliminated, he stopped complaining.

A couple of minutes after the challenge was announced, there was tension again between Todd and Andrew as to who is better. Andrew says that he will win because he won a science fair with a rocket. Todd says that he will win because he got a smart girlfriend.

Then, nothing much happened after that.

Before the deadline, however, there was some shipping. I don't know who were shipped, but I do know that it involved Collin and Andrew. Oh, and Kelsey.

(someone clarify pl0x)

I'm not going to paste every single explanation here, but I'll send a couple.

"You know how space ships go up.
Well for them to reach interstellar travel they need to go down.

Jk we all know the problem with reaching inter stellar travel, we can't go fast, far and safe enough to send people out there with a garenteed return. First what we could do to actually reach the outside of our solar system or even our galaxy, is that our space ships are not powerful enough. First thing first we would need to expand the ship to a new size, because the reason we can't send people out is because the ship doesn't have enough air, either enlarging the ship or creating a source of which reproduces air would fix this problem. Let's go with enlarged ship idea, for that to even launch you would need much stronger engines and fire power, so I thought that they could tap into some nuclear energy to make a contained explosion helping them out of the atmosphere. Once out it won't be as big s problem. Of course then there is inter stellar travel. So we repeat again, using a contained nuclear blast, the force in zero gravity will launch you extremely fast in a certain direction, and asteroids and stars won't be a problem with this idea. What I would do is create a small robotic bullet or object able to be launched far, it would act as a camera or scouted for the ship, it would take a video of a large area in front of you, taking a mile wide view ten thousands miles ahead. Then checking the coast is clear the blast is detonated launching you in the safe direction. There would be many safe pods with very powerful boosters to evacuate an entire crew in case of a detonation gone wrong or breach of the ship. In conclusion, this would make space travel much more effective and safe, using this would give the opportunity to escape our galaxy and solar system. So yes, they do go upwards."

That's Poke's explanation ^

"The Radish-Stellar 3000

The Radish-Stellar 3000 is powered by ion engines fueled with liquid chemical reactants, such as the newly discovered Gleomi element. The ion engine utilizes internal fusion reactions to produce a stream of highly-charged particles that are forced through the engine's exhaust port at nearly the speed of light. The Radish-Stellar is equipped with a hyperdrive to travel through hyperspace. The hyperdrive is basically just a nitros boost for an engine, except at a much larger scale. There is a steering system inside the Radish-Stellar that uses the ion engines to push the ship up, down, left, right, etc. Since there is no air resistance in space, steering is very easy. Particle shields are generated from the ship's battery, which protect it from physical dangers such as asteroids. The Radish-Stellar's hull is made of reflective metal which reflects radiation and prevents harm to the ship. The Radish-Stellar 3000 is not very big, and can only hold a crew of 4 people at the most."

That's Todd's explanation ^

I also would like to mention that Andrew sent me like an entire walkthrough in his spaceship, describing and explaining how each different parts function. Alice also drew her spaceship, with this sketch:

All of the rockets and spaceships were amazing. In fact, they were so amazing that I can't decide on the winner between Todd, Andrew, and Poke.

So, I did something else.

I judged based on logic.

I asked those three about how their rockets work. All three of them sent me their answers, but only one was the most logical.

Poke.

So, Poke won the choice of who was eliminated.

But that's not all.

After the main experiment, I held a speed side project about general scientific knowledge. I asked them questions, such as what kind of climate does Reykjavik, Iceland have. Whoever answers the most correct will win immunity from Poke.

I'm also not going to individually go through every questions, but Andrew did have the most points again.

Here are the final scores:

Andrew - 10
Collin - 3
Todd - 2
Poke - 2
Alice - 1

But here's where things get interesting.

Right after the side project, Collin used a death potion.

To whom, you ask?

Andrew.

The immunity from the side project doesn't protect him from death potions.

So, Andrew was eliminated.

Thanks for participating, Andrew!

Andrew's last words:

"What the f*ck Collin, the one guy I trust and you turn yiur back on me, every single fucking person was right. You're a traitor ... You said we'd go to final 2. And here I am. Alice, im rooting for you, I fr blocked Collin I'm never talking to him again. I trusted you since season 4 of Todd's comps. I ignored everybody who told me yiu were bad because i TRUSTED YOU. because I thought I could trust you.... Turns out I was wrong.....

I had alot of fun.
P.s Collin, dumb move wasting all your points like that, especially to get someone out who had none. Person with the most points at the end wins. Soooo.. You're a fucking idiot"

Gg

Outside Glitch's Laboratory, however, there was drama between Collin and Andrew. Andrew thought Collin was his friend, but apparently he was backstabbed.

Soon, Andrew blocked Collin.

However, Collin had regretted the decision of using a death potion against Andrew, and now wants to sacrifice himself in place of Andrew. He asked me if I could add Andrew back.

I said that he will have to earn his way back to the comps.

That almost didn't change anything, though. Collin left Glitch's Laboratory.

I'm not a cruel host to drag a scientist back into Glitch's Laboratory.

So, Collin was eliminated.

Thanks for participating, Collin!

However, there's still Poke's decision to eliminate someone else.

He chose Ace.

So, Ace was eliminated.

Thanks for participating, Ace!

But guess what, dudes

Two people had come back for the final time.

They were added back to Glitch's Laboratory, for the third time.

Welcome back, Andrew and Sky.

Side note: Glitch's potions are no longer available.
