[1] Challenge 5
Last time on Glitch's Laboratory, the teams had to attend a speed experiment where they fill in the blanks. However, everyone sucked because Xavier and Coder are the only ones who made it. Xavier ended up getting the victory for The Periodic Table of Savagery, and Project: Biohazard had to send someone home. As a result, Nathan was voted out. But Thomas and Chipzy were eliminated as well. What scientific craziness do I have in my lab today? Find out now on Glitch's Laboratory!

I can't really remember what happened after the last speed experiment.
But before the experiment was announced, I asked who will be the representative of their team for the next experiment. I also told them that the representative must be a good writer.
In Project: Biohazard, Todd had asked his team if they want him to do it. A few others replied with a yes, and Todd became the representative of Project: Biohazard.
Meanwhile in The Periodic Table of Savagery, Andrew signed up to become the representative of The Periodical Table of Savagery. Xavier agreed, and said he will help Andrew with whatever the experiment was.
The experiment was to write a short story about humans discovering intelligent life. However, aliens attacked Earth, and it was up to the humans to save themselves from extinction. They had several hours to do it.
There wasn't much discussion with Project: Biohazard.
However, The Periodic Table of Savagery had discussed a couple times about the short story, with Xavier mostly helping Andrew, just like he said he was going to help.
But at some point, Andrew said he couldn't publish the short story (the representatives will be the one publishing the short story), so Xavier had to be the one publishing their entry.
Meanwhile, Todd wrote his short story.
But did he make it on time?
He didn't.
Even though I had extended the experiment, Project: Biohazard didn't turn anything in.
At some point before the official deadline, Naomi had a #SteveHarvey moment and thought that it was voting time. They spammed me, both Wattpad and on Kik. But I was at school, so it was Naomi's decision as to which team won the experiment.
Since Project: Biohazard didn't turn anything, the win automatically went to The Periodic Table of Savagery.
I later came and clarified that the experiment still ends in two hours. So Naomi held the voting ceremony a few hours before the official deadline.
But even then, The Periodic Table of Savagery still would've won anyway.
Todd said that he'd take full responsibility for their team's loss, and that it'll be understandable if he was voted out.
Indeed, it came down to Todd and Sky.
However, Sky was eliminated.

After the elimination ceremony, the scientists found themselves removed from the team chats.
A couple people wondered what was going on, but some of them already knew what's happening.
Welcome to the merge, scientists.
Right when I announced the merge, we held another speed side project where people will have to unscramble words to form words related to science.
A few of those words are BIOLOGY, GENETICS, ASTRONOMY, ANTIMATTER, and the longest word in the English language.
Here were the final scores:
Andrew - 7
Todd - 3
Collin - 2
I also announced a few more twists and additions. It's basically harder to get points now, but the potions are now discounted, so it's basically cheaper now.
But there are new potions.
Enfeebling potions cost 6 points, but if you use it against a person of your choice, then that person will earn half the points than they originally do for two challenges.
Sabotage potions cost 8 points, but if you use it against a person of your choice, then that person won't be able to win side projects again.
Balance potions cost 1.5 points, but they reveal everyone's balances to the person who bought it.
After announcing the twists, someone used an instant death potion against Todd.
Todd was eliminated.

Todd had enough points for a resurrection potion, so he was added back to the chat as if he wasn't eliminated at all.
Welcome back, Todd.

What will happen next? Will I be able to publish this before I run out of battery? Find out next time on Glitch's Laboratory!
That's it from me, everyone!
