why does one of them look familiar ?

i looked at all of their faces. i saw that they were all the same as jaemin. i then looked back to jaemin. 

"why are they here ? i mean like, why did you bring them with you at this late hour ?" i asked.

"well, we are in trouble. we need your help. i thought you could meet my friends, if i'm not around and you'll be comfortable with them," jaemin explained.

i understood him and i looked back to his friends. as i looked at the fourth guy, he seemed very familiar, like i've seen him somewhere. he looked Chinese and he looked like he was about my age. i went closer to him.

"have we met before?" i asked. 

the guy smiled lopsidedly. he didn't say anything, he just looked down. he looked uncomfortable so i stepped back. 

"guys, why not you introduce yourselves" jaemin said.

"hello. i am haechan"

"hello. i am jeno"

"annyeonghaseyo i am mark. nice to meet you"

"i am renjun. nice to meet you"

"annyeonghaseyo. i am jisung"

"and i am chenle"

so his name is renjun! he really looks familiar , but where have i seen him ? 

i nodded and bowed to all of them. they were all around my age, but mark looked slightly older and chenle and jisung looked younger. i decided to introduce myself too.

"annyeonghaseyo. i'm yoon (y/n). i'm 18 on 15 august. nice to meet you" 

they all smile to me. i smiled back and i told them to come inside my room. i closed and door and locked it. i sat on the edge of my bed while they all looked around me room. i saw jaemin looking at the photo on my desk. it was me and him when we were small. he looked at it, and smiled. it was good to finally know he is safe, for now. 

"okay, well, do you need me to help you escape ? and what is this guy's name ?" i asked. 

"his name is daeho. he's been tracking us down for months now and we don't know how he knows about us. he plans to take our kind and suck us into another universe that we can't get out. he thinks we are monsters. he already sucked a few people, including my.....mother" said renjun.

"but there is a way for them to escape that universe. it will be dangerous. we need.....a human to go into that universe and take them out of it" mark said.

daeho ? is he someone i know ? wait.... don't tell me... it can't be.. i widened my eyes a bit. it was quite scary to hear what they were saying, especially renjun. his mother got sucked into the universe and they can't get her out. i understood what they were trying to say. they needed someone to save them. 

"is there anyway i can help ?" i asked.

just then, someone knocked on the door. it was my mother.

"(y/n) ? why did you lock the door? and who are you talking to ?" 

i told the boys to stay quiet, and quickly go to the balcony. 

"nothing mum ! i was talking to hoshi over the phone ! i'm getting tired. i'm going to bed. goodnight"

"okay. goodnight!"

once she left, i quickly walked to the balcony and saw them admiring the beautiful dark sky filled with stars. they all looked like they have never seen it for a long time. i let them be for a few minutes, seeing how calm they are. ever since they were here, they all looked scared and anxious. it was nice to see them feel relaxed and not worry too much. i pity all of them for what they have to go through. it must be hard to control themselves and be in different world apart from earth.

after waiting for quite a while, i decided to talk to them again about their problem. they saw me approaching and they walked to my room. 

"by the way, what is daeho's surname ?" i asked. 

"park daeho" haechan said. 

it really is him ! park daeho ! my eyes widened. i looked to the floor, feeling guilty of my cousin. why would he do such a thing ? it really hurt me to know that he's been doing all this. he was the closest to me. he was a nice guy, and i didn't expect him to do something so horrible and cruel. he even knew about jaemin. even though he knows about jaemin, jaemin never knew about him. jaemin looked at me worriedly. i was frozen. i was too shocked. 

"(y/n) ? hello ? are you okay ?" jaemin asked.

"h-huh ? y-yeah i'm fine. sorry, something just hit me" i said.

"what where ? are you okay ? what hit you ?" haechan asked.

"no you pabo ! nothing hit her !" jeno said, smacking his forehead and shaking his head. 

"anyway, i think i know.....daeho" i said shyly. 

they widened their eyes, but calmed down after. they were speechless and the atmosphere was getting awkward. there was a moment of silence but i broke it.

"i know this is shocking, but you said park daeho right ? well, that daeho could be someone else or my cousin....i just- i mean- i- ah i'm sorry. it's just really shocking to know it's been my cousin doing all of this. i'm so sorry on behalf. i just feel really guilty" i said as i looked down and played with my hands. 

their eyes softened a bit. they know what i was going through. chenle came up and patted my back. 

"it's okay (y/n) - uhh i mean it's o-"i cut chenle off.

"nah it's fine. i'm just shocked. and yes i can speak chinese" i said to chenle.

renjun lit up. i had a feeling he was chinese too. it was then back to the awkward atmosphere. we didn't say anything. they all kept quiet. i was deep in my thoughts, still shocked it was possibly my cousin who was responsible for his cruel actions. daeho is a smart guy. he wouldn't do such a thing. i just need to find out what's he hiding from me. hmm... every time i hang out with him, he's always asking me to go somewhere except his house. that thing he's hiding must be in his house... but how do i get inside without him noticing ?
