it was the next day and we were getting ready to go to school. it was early in the morning and everyone was tired. why did the principal fucking tell us the go to school earlier now ? WHY ?? "yah, be quick (y/n) or we will leave without you !" hoshi shouted from downstairs. i sighed and took my bag and went downstairs.

at school, it was a normal day. nothing really happened except jaemin being with us for the whole day. even though nothing was happening today, i felt like something i don't like would happen.

"hey jaemin , wanna go to arcade today ?" i asked him. he agreed and we decided to go to the arcade after school. we walked to class and as usual, it was noisy. i was about to walk to my seat but someone was sitting there. i didn't see his face because his back was facing me. i walked up to him and that's when i felt something was in class that i don't like.

"oh, (y/n) !! are we in the same class ? i guess you are sitting next to me" jihoon said. wtf no.

"why the hell are you here ? are you stalking me ?" i asked confused. he chuckled and shook his head. "my mum wanted me to attend school in Seoul instead of Busan" jihoon said and shrugged. i clenched my fist. jaemin tapped my shoulder looking lost and confused.

"who's that ? and we is he sitting in your seat ?" jaemin asked. minghao walked up to my seat and tried to scare jihoon but it wasn't even working.

"that's park jihoon, my ex. he's a real sucker (a/n: i don't really mean it !) and he is a cheater" i said while rolling my eyes and crossing my arms. fortunately, jihoon walked away. maybe he was annoyed because of minghao.

"thanks minghao !!" i said while smiling.

it was lunch and minghao , me , jaemin and hoshi we were eating our food at the rooftop. "no ! that was you ! you played with chenle and you messed up my bathroom ?? why were you playing in my bathroom ? did you have to take a shit ?" i asked jaemin while laughing.

"no- yes- i mean- we were inside there because we were finding chenle's dolphin toy" jaemin said and i ended up laughing until i cried.

"hey guys, me and minghao are going, bye !! see you in class !!" hoshi said and i waved to them.

i continued talking to jaemin for five minutes and we were about to go to class.

"hey (y/n)" jaemin said. "yeah ?" i asked while looking to him.

"d-do you really like minghao ?" he asked. i wasn't really expecting that type of question. i shook my head. "when daeho asked who i liked, i actually liked someone else but i didn't want daeho to know because...daeho knows him and I'm sure daeho would get super mad. so i didn't think of anyone else so i said i like minghao" i explained. .

"wait , (y/n) i need to tell you something. ever since i met you i have always wanted to tell you that i l-" the bell rang. it was time to go to class. "we should go, tell me after school" i said. he sighed snd we headed to class.

it was the end of school and i walked to the bus stop with jaemin. hoshi and minghao were going to watch a movie so they couldn't come with us to the arcade. jaemin and i talked a lot and it really felt like when we were younger.

"by the way, what did you want to tell me ?" i asked him. he shool his head. "i forgot. maybe next time" he said and smiled.

today , i was super excited. i am going to be with (y/n) for the whole day. yesterday , i told mark hyung about how i felt towards (y/n) and why i was feeling things that i never felt before.

flashback

"mark hyung !!" i shouted. mark turned towards my direction and waved. "what's up ??" he asked.

"you gotta help me. I've been feeling weird things towards someone and i can't figure it out. why do i feel those things ??" i asked him. "wait , who's the girl ?" he asked.

"u-uh, i-its (y/n). don't you dare tell this to anyone !" i said seriously.

"really ?? okay !! jaemin-ah, isn't it obvious , you like her ! you have been really quiet and you get pissed often when haechan or anyone else gets close to her. you nearly beat renjun because he held her hand when we came over. it's called, love" mark said while doing some weird actions. "okay, hyung, please stop. it's cringy" i said disgusted. he just rolled his eyes.

"so, do i tell her ? no wait i shouldn't. it would be too awkward and we probably won't talk to each other for weeks and everything won't tuen out as planned hyung-" jaemin was cut off. "yah, calm down ! nothing wrong is going to happen !! just trust yourself jaemin-ah. i gotta go now, taeyong just called me" mark said. i nodded and we bid our goodbyes.

we played loads of games at the arcade and we had fun. i missed playing with jaemin. it's been so long and i still manage to beat him at many games. we were walking back home while eating ice cream. maybe now is a good time to tell him that i like him.. i took a deep breath and tapped his shoulder. he looked back to me. my heart was racing.

"jaemin-ah, we probably will be awkward with each other but i don't really care. remember i said i like someone else aside from minghao ? that person.....that person is.....you. i like you jaemin"
