13- Power

I woke up with a head throbbing headache and Quentin yelling at me about Jerome getting in a fight with a pig over his raw fish. The Jerome part got me up and out of my tent quickly. the sun blinded me for a couple of seconds as I stumbled around remembering events that had happened in the past 24 hours. Then my powers kicked in and I regained my balance looking around for Jerome. Sure enough there he was cornering a small baby pig to a tree, the pig had a fish in its mouth and Jerome raising his axe high above head. Huh, weird I didn't even know pigs like raw fish. "Jerome!" I shouted in a groggy voice. He spun around facing me with wide eyes. "Morning Ty!" In this split second distraction the pig ran off with the fish still in its mouth. Jerome growled when he noticed the pig escaped. "Rotten pig took my fish!" I rolled my eyes getting some apples out of my bag for breakfast. "We need to pack up camp, geez I can't believe I slept in this long." Quentin laughs at me as he takes down his small tent. Jerome's tent is already taken down and he is  packing his bag. I quickly eat my apple and pack my tent into my bag as everyone gets what they need for the days journey. Soon we were on our way to find one of the last two team members. I had a gut feeling from my last couple of dreams that something was going to go horribly wrong. I couldn't name it since I was still working out my powers but it was like a new power was coming onto me or even worse; Enderlox was growing stronger. Whatever it was I had to get it fixed quickly. I was hoping this Seto guy could help. The next day was the exact same routine, Jerome taking the lead and clearing a path then Quentin picking herbs along the way then me in the back. When it got to lunch time we all sat down and I pulled out some meat from the night before for me, Jerome pulled out more fish and Quentin had his mushroom stew.

Day after day we repeated this cycle until we reached an unusual clearing. The grass had been recently tilled and there was a small waterfall into a lake with flowers and weird looking trees surrounding an alter with different magical items on the table. Then we looked up and there it was, the famous mountains that many people died on, few lived to tell the tale. Thankfully, we could save that adventure for another day. What we needed was hidden in the bottom of the mountain. "Quentin, don't get in that water, we don't know what's going on around here. There's a different magical aroma in the air and I don't want anyone getting hurt." Quentin sighed. "Fine." Jerome chuckled standing behind him. "It's so peaceful here." He mumbled. I nodded, "Yeah, almost, too peaceful." Right as I said that my other senses kicked in and I felt an eerie breeze run quickly behind me, heading for Quentin. I kicked at the air right behind Quentin's back and a soft 'thud' was heard as something hit the ground. But this mysterious something didn't stay there for long, he was up before I could find him again. Jerome whipped out his axe trying to use his bacca sense to find out anything. Quentin was frozen. "Wh-whats going on." He mumbled. I got in front of Quentin, pulling out my sword and throwing in on the ground, a weird buzzing kind of shocking noise came from my headphones that were trying to turn a purple color; the color of Enderlox. "I-it's okay Quentin, it's just S-Seto, I think. He's scared." As soon as I said Seto's name the weird noises stopped and the ground beneath us started to turn black. Soon a square had entrapped me, Jerome and Quentin. Nor Notch or Herobrine could help me identify this. Either they were being silent or this weird black magic was blocking them. "How do you know Seto." A deep voice called out. "We are friends!" I called out. "We come from the prophecy, Sky sent us. We want to extend the invite of our team to Seto, we will need his help in the future." I tried to sound tough and like I knew what I was talking about but in a strange way I did know what I was talking about. I was guessing Notch was filling my brain up. The grass turned back to green and Jerome let out a long breath I didn't realize he was holding in, was that grass cutting out his oxygen? Quentin seemed unaffected, maybe it was just a bacca thing? "Sky, please step forth." The same voice called out. I could now better hear his voice and I guessed it was coming from one of the trees. "Sky's not here. I am Ty, however, Sky's right hand man." Nor Quentin or Jerome stopped me because they knew it was true.

Finally the mysterious creature revealed himself to you. It was a boy, no older that Quentin. "Jason, pleased to meet you, Ty. " The boy, Jason, reached out his hand to shake mine and only then was I able to take in his appearance. He had shaggy brown hair with deep brown eyes that had specks of grey in them. He was so pale it looked unhealthy but it didn't seem to phase him. He wore a light blue hoodie with black cargo pants and black tennis shoes.  "Hello, Jason, do you know where we could find Seto?" Jason nodded "Yeah of course, this way. But only Ty." I stopped. "Why just me?" Jason sighed turning to face us, "Seto isn't good on a big group of people. It would be better if you came first and explained what was going on and then brought the others in to meet him." I nodded slightly. "They have names, the bacca is Jerome, the mudkip is Quentin." Jason nodded respectfully. "Of course, I'm sorry Jerome and Quentin." Jason led us into the cave, and what happened next shocked us all.
