Once upon a time there was a child playing
Warm soul and lucky laugh
while it discover the wounderfull world

Once upon a time the mother prayed for him
"Never let him lose his laugh, his hope, his faith in the good
in this world full of lies and violence"

Over time the child grow, grow to a laughing kind
Though the mother try to protect him for evil
She was helpless against human that want to destroy
War overcame everyone, travels on bloody ground

Once upon a time there was an growing Child
lost everything it love, was alone in a world of death
tried to survive but lost his hope

Once upon a time an angel prayed for him:
"Give him back what i never will can do again
Save my child from the dark, don't let his heart turn to stone"

The war forms the live of an lost child,
teached him how to survive, how to fight.
A destroyed world became his home,
without an only place to remember what he wants to remain in his heart.

Day in Day out He and thousand play the same game,
the only desire to die, to leave this hell on earth.
But they will to live awake,
turned into monsters, cornerd, nothing human left.

Once upon a time there was an young man, moved in another land,
recognised that no one want to save them or end the war,
realized that these, that humans only cares about themselve!

Once upon a time he rememberd a beautiful voice in his dreams
Saw picture of a world full of peace, saw his homeland befor all of this began
Realized that he forget what he promised to be all the time

"I remember, my lovely mother
I remember the love
I will never lose again my heart, lose humanity"

Once upon a time an old man
still tries to end the wars
still tries to save lost children, like he was long time ago
goes the way of humanity

Now the child from old time
reminds himself the road he followed
A road full of blood, death, and hopeless
But with the song in his heart, that sing of a world full of Love, laugh and humanity
He find his way to peace

Ich würde das hier als Ballade identifizieren, nicht unbedingt als ein Songtext ... Ich hoffe es gefällt dennoch ^^
