A/N: I'm trying out a new one shot for the ship Kurtofsky.

Based on the scene where Rachel gets the ultimatum and in this Kurt gets one too.

Kurt was worried about being at McKinley but he was happy that he was finally with Blaine. He walked into the choir room for the New Directions Glee Club where Mercedes, Brittany, Santana and Quinn with Finn who was dating Quinn, were alone and waiting for him. Kurt smiled at his friends as he looked around and noticed that not everyone was there. He spoke

"Where are the others? Does this mean we finally get songs from miss control freak?" Mercedes, Brittany, Santana, Quinn and Finn looked at each other and Finn said

"Rachel is actually resting due her broken nose." Kurt noticed the atmosphere in the room and said

"What's going on?" Mercedes looked at Kurt and said

"We kinda want to talk to you. It's something important." Kurt was confused and Quinn said

"We don't actually feel comfortable with you dating Blaine while he's still a Warbler at Dalton, you have to break up with him for the sake of the team, we can't have a Rachel and Jesse 2.0." Kurt was shocked and said

"What? That's not fair. " Kurt looked at Mercedes and said

"You were the one that told me to go for it because I was lonely and everyone would understand. Make up your mind up Jones." Kurt turns around to walk out of the choir room. He walked out and bumped in Rachel.

Rachel was devastated that she couldn't be in glee club due to her broken nose, and just as she was about to leave someone bumped into her. Rachel looked and saw Kurt. He was upset. 

She was concerned for her friend. She softly spoke

"Are you okay Kurt? What did the glee club do this time?" Kurt gave a sad look

"It wasn't all of them, just Finn, Quinn, Mercedes, Santana and Brittany. They really upset me." Rachel knew with Mercedes and Finn both involved Kurt was given an ultimatum. Rachel looked at Kurt and said

"Let me guess they gave you an ultimatum like they did with me last year when I was with Jesse, and Finn tried to sabotage it by going to Mr. Schue?" Kurt nodded his head sadly. Rachel understood perfectly but she did wonder if he was upset about the ultimatum with Blaine or upset that it could have been an ultimatum with Dave Karofsky. 

Rachel curiously looked at Kurt and said

"Are you more upset that ultimatum was about Blaine or that it could have involved Karofsky?" Kurt was shocked that someone knew. Kurt stammered

"H-h- how did you know?" Rachel softly spoke

"I see how you look at him through the bully whips thing that Santana did  just to win prom queen and have you back here because she didn't want to verse you, and if I'm being honest i think he likes you too." Kurt blushed slightly and said

"Oh.. but what makes you think he likes me back? I gave up on him so I'm dating Blaine. I can't wait around all day you know." Rachel gave him a look and said

"Really? you're settling for someone who blind sided you, lead you on and lead you to believe that he liked you when he didn't and lied to you about not being bisexual when he actually is bisexual, and for someone who outed another person at his own work mind you and got them fired. And Karofsky likes you. He changed his ways because of you and wants you safe. Unlike Santana who just wants prom queen from Quinn." Kurt thought about what Rachel had just said to him, and he knew she was right, Blaine didn't sound like the ideal person in his head, and did get Jeremiah fired from his work and lead him on worst than what Finn did to Rachel herself.

"If I break up with Blaine can you be there please? and maybe help me set up something small for Karofsky, and maybe I could help you woo Puck." Rachel blushed at the mention of Puck, but truth be told she was already dating him and also pregnant she and Puck only told Sam who would never tell anyone at all they didn't want the same thing to happen to them as what happened with Quinn especially since Mercedes told everyone.

"I'm actually already dating Noah, we haven't told anyone because of Finn and Quinn especially Finn. you know how he is when I'm with other guys. It's part of the reason I'm not going to prom. that aside, I will be there Kurt I promise. maybe the something small could be a proper promposal to him and not use him like what Santana is doing, we can have Amizo help us too." Kurt smiled and said

"Thanks Rachel." Rachel placed a comforting hand on Kurt and said

"As for the others in glee forget them including Mercedes she was the one that told people about Quinn's pregnancy and Noah being the father instead and made it gossip instead of biding by Quinn's wishes in not telling anyone. She's not a nice friend behind anyone's back." Kurt agreed with Rachel, and they then left to meet up with Blaine.

Short while later Kurt met up with Blaine at the Lima Bean and as Blaine sat down, Kurt said

"We should break up. I can't be with you. you lied to me, and you lead me on and hurt me a lot. I can't be with someone like that." Blaine was shocked and said

"I can change you know." Kurt shook his head and said

"You outed someone Blaine and got them fired. I can't be with you. I just can't not after you did that. It was really harmful Blaine., so we are done" Kurt then stood up and walked to Rachel's table.

"You okay Kurt?" Rachel asked with concern. Kurt nodded, gave a small smile and said

"Yeah i am." Rachel smiled at him and asked

"You ready to plan Dave's promposal. Amizo is in. He's on board and supports you both and will pummel any guy that messes with you both. He knew about Karofsky for a long time, he was helping him hide it from the school. and he was worried about the Santana thing. He wants his friend happy." Kurt smiled at his friend and said

"Thank  you. really." Rachel and Kurt then left the Lima Bean for Kurt to plan for Karofksy's promposal.

A few days later Amizo escorted Dave to the locker where Kurt was. Dave was confused when Amizo left and Dave looked at Kurt and said

"What's going on? and why you are wearing that Hummel?" Kurt looked down at his football outfit that he wore during that football game they danced and performed at half time where he first fell for Karofsky. Kurt looked up once more and said

"Just listen. Do you remember that half time show last year?" Dave smiled and said

"How could I forget. That was actually more fun that I expected." Kurt smiled at the fact that he remembered and continued

"i like to think that I saw the real Karofsky that day. I'm wearing this outfit because I actually have fond memories of that game, and it's because of you I do." Dave was shocked at what Kurt had said and kept replaying that he was the reason for Kurt's fond memories of a football game.

Kurt stepped forward and said

"I guess what I'm trying to say is that I like you, and I would like it if you would want to go to prom with me. there's no pressure, and I wouldn't force you out like Santana is doing and also I'm not dating Blaine at all." Dave was speechless and stammered shyly spoke

"Y-yes I would go to prom with you.. and I like you too." Dave then stepped forward a little and kissed Kurt, and when they pulled apart Dave said

"I am sorry about last year, the start of the this year and everything and what I said and I am sorry that our first kiss was me forcing myself on you. I will be forever apologising for those things." Kurt gave a small smile and said

"It's okay, and you are forgiven, but lets focus on prom together as boyfriends." Dave smiled and said

"Yes prom as boyfriends. I just have to let lopez know that I decline her offer and i'll tell people about me before she can." Kurt then took Dave's hand and said

"How about we tell them now? I'm by your side." Dave squeezed Kurt's hand and then walked out of the locker room together hand in hand showing the school the newest couple which turned a lot of heads especially Mercedes, Santana, Quinn and Finn. Seeing Kurt and Dave together made Rachel happy and made her proud that Kurt and Dave could be happy just like she and Puck are.
