Today, like all others, wolves and dogs are training in the arena for the games that steadily approach. The Alphas are pushing everyone harder, as they day of reckoning is almost here. The training wolves can practically hear Thunder's taunting voice calling their name to either send them to their death, or the murder of a friend.

So today you should train, focus on preparing in case it is your time. Of course you could socialize, try the whole friends thing, but you might end up fighting them. And you know the rule: one must die. If not, you'll both end up dead. But it's up to you really.

There will be no match in this chapter. Just a chance to train and get to know each other.

Territory

The canines live in a large forest, full of trees and wild life. The main camp is set at the heart of their territory, and there are sentries set up around the territory, each a howl away from another.

The camp is a large networks of dens where everyone sleeps. The largest den is reserved for the royals, and is kept warm and comfortable thanks to the omegas. Almost every canine or family has their own den, but it's not uncommon for some to have to share. The size and comfort of each den varies on the rank of its inhabitants.

The training area is next to the main arena. It has plenty of space of multiple groups to train at once, and is where wolves spend the most of the time, unless hunting or watching/participating in the games.

The arena is next to the training area, located in a cave. When the games start, all dogs go in, lowest rank first, highest last, for safety reasons, and is the opposite when leaving. The cave tunnel leads to a large cavern with a gaping hole at the top, letting sunlight in to show the matches. The floor where the fighting happens is a bloodstained pit surrounded by rows of jagged rock, perfect to seat spectators. Guard alphas are posted by the exit to the cave, the only one, and around the royals, to make sure no escapes or attacks happen during a fight.
