Emma's POV *At STAR Labs*

"You guys want to go to Jitters," I asked Barry and Felicity. We were still at STAR Labs so that Felicity could get to know Cisco and Caitlin a bit more.

"Sure," Felicity beamed at me.

"Fine by me," Barry confirmed. We said our goodbyes to Cisco, Caitlin, and Dr. Wells before Barry sped Felicity out of STAR Labs. A few seconds later, he came back for me and we sped off to CC Jitters. Once we got there we walked out of the alley in towards the entrance. Barry opened the door for us and grinned.

"Thank you," Felicity acknowledged.

"Yeah," Barry spoke.

"Why thank you kind sir," I joked while doing a princess bow. Barry laughed and put his arm around me and pulled me into his side.

"You're such a goofball," Barry effused. I looked up at him and he looked down at me.

"That's why you love me," I beamed, quoting Barry from earlier. Barry smiled at me before his smile turned mischievous.

He put his lips really close to my ear and whispered, "Damn right I do." He then proceeded to give me a kiss on the cheek. I blushed profusely and looked up at Barry. He flashed me his signature smirk and winked which caused me to blush even more. I had finally stopped blushing as Felicity had went to order. We were about to follow her when Iris stopped us.

"Heyy you two," she greeted cheerfully. Her smile grew when she saw the close proximity Barry and I were in.

"Hey Iris," I smiled.

"We're not a two," Barry stuttered while shaking his head. Felicity had made her way back to us with our coffee too.

"Nope, they are a one and a one, supposedly," Felicity said gesturing to us.

"Yeah what she said," Barry and I spoke simultaneously. Felicity and Iris exchanged looks before they both pulled me aside.

"We'll be back in a moment," Iris assured while grabbing my arm. They took me to the loft in the Jitters. "What the heck was that about??" Iris questioned while smacking my arm.

"What was what?" I asked, confused.

"What do you mean what was what? You and Barry! What was that all about?" Felicity queried excitedly.

"Nothing...we're just friends," I announced. I couldn't help but be disappointed though. I like Barry, he's everything I want and so much more...

"Was that..disappointment  we heard?" Iris grinned.

"Ohh my gosh! Do you like Barry?" Felicity gasped.

"....maybe...." I mumbled. I blushed, looked down, and grinned. Iris and Felicity jumped up and down with glee.

"Finally, you FINALLY admitted it," Iris laughed.

"You two would be so adorable together. Oh my gosh, it's so obvious he likes you too," Felicity gushed. I smiled at what Felicity said while I looked down from the loft. Barry was standing there looking confused as to why Iris and Felicity dragged me away.

"Let's go back down, we'll continue girl talk later," I chirped before we walked down the stairs and back to Barry. I stood on Barry's right side while Felicity stood on his left but slightly forward so that she was in front of him.

"Have Barry and Emma been showing you some of the sights in Central City?" Iris asked, trying to take the focus off of what we had been discussing earlier.

"Yes, I have seen some pretty amazing sights," Felicity expressed. She looked at Barry and I and we both smiled, knowing she was talking about my speedster best friend to the left of me.

"...Really," Iris inquired. She looked at Barry and me as if she was happy for us. She must be thinking Felicity saw us admit our feelings for eachother. No matter what anyone says, I really don't think Barry likes me. "Well, if you've got some time, maybe we could show you some of Central City's night life."

"Oh, no. I get plenty of nightlife in Starling City," Felicity immediately declined. Iris has started walking and the three of us were following her.

"This is something that I don't think you're gonna wanna miss. Trivia Night at Jitters," Iris gushed while holding up a flyer excitedly. She looked at me knowing I loved Trivia Night. I really wanted to go but my little brother Michael is coming to Central City by train tonight and I want to hang out with him. I haven't seen him for a long time. He and my mom had moved to Gotham with me when I left for college. They decided to stay there, and they were safe anyway because Tim, Dick, Bruce, Alfred, or even Damian now, go check on them everyday. Speaking of Dick, I have to call him soon. I'll call him when I get home after Michael gets here. Michael has always been my favorite brother. I love Finn to death I really do but Michael and I have just bonded more than Finn and I have. Finn and I are still close but not as close as Michael and me. Michael's birthday was coming up soon and Mom let him come to Central City to celebrate. His birthday was next week. "Eddie's not really excited about it, I admit. But it could be our night guys," Iris exclaimed.

"Our night to win $75 worth of cappuccinos?" Barry questioned.

"Uh, yum. You know what I'm gonna go call work. Check in, make sure everything's okay. I'll be back in a second," Felicity smiled before walking away.

"Sorry Iris, Mikey is coming to Central City today. He said he's bringing a plus one so I have to cook for two more people for the next 4 weeks. You know I love Trivia Night but I can't make it," I explained disappointedly. Iris and Barry's smiles widened at the sound of Mikey's name. Mikey was our nickname for Michael.

"Mikey is coming? I miss him so much. He's turning 18 soon right?" Barry asked me. I nodded and smiled.

"Well, you can bring him and his plus one. It's gonna be fun," Iris pleaded. I sighed but nodded. Barry did a silent 'yes' because and Iris clapped her hands in glee.

"It depends on what this mystery plus one says. If they agree, then we'll be here," I grinned. Iris nodded and was about to say something when my phone rang. "Sorry, it's Michael I gotta take this, his train is probably here," I said before walking away.

"Heyy Mikeyy," I beamed after I answered the call.

"Em! It's so good to hear your voice," Michael answered. "My train is going to get there in 10 minutes. Do you have a car?" Mikey asked me.

"Uhhh...no. Why don't you just call a cab. You know my apartment address. I'll be at my apartment when you get there," I promised.

"Great, can't wait to see you then! Bye Em! Love ya," Mikey chorused.

"Love you too Mikey. Bye!" I chirped before I hung up. I walked over to where Barry and Iris were talking and I tapped on Barry's shoulder. "Can you drop me at my apartment? Mikey's gonna be here soon," I explained. Barry nodded and excused himself. I waved goodbye to Iris and Felicity before we left Jitters.

"Soo," Barry started.

"Yeahh," I replied.

"Who do you think the plus one is?"

"I don't know probably a friend or something," I guessed. Barry nodded and then we were in the alley. Barry picked me up and ran me to my apartment.

"I guess this is farewell, m'lady," Barry joked while bowing and taking my hand. He put my hand up to his lips and kissed it. I blushed before jokingly responding.

"However will I go on without you my love?" I jokingly lamented. I looked away and put my other hand to my forehead in a 'sad damsel' manner. Barry took the hand he was still holding and pulled me into him. He put his face close to mine and our bodies were pressed against each other's. My hands were now on his chest and his were on my waist. My eyes darted to his lips then back to his eyes and he did the same. The small distance between our lips was rapidly shrinking. I stood on my tip toes, since Barry is so tall, and our lips were finally about to touch when we heard someone clear their throat. Barry and I flew apart and we saw Michael standing there with his bags and Dick was behind him, holding bags of his own. We blushed deeply and continued to increase the space between us. Michael had a small smile on his face but he also looked slightly uncomfortable. Dick had a huge boyish grin on his face and he winked at me. Barry flashed me a quick smile and mumbled a goodbye before he rushed down stairs. Not using his powers of course. "Not a word," I announced as I unlocked my apartment door and let them in.

"Of course not Em," Dick smiled, but I knew he was lying since he had a mischievous grin on his face.

"Well....that happened," Mikey addressed before he walked into one of the spare rooms to put his bags. Luckily I had two spare rooms so Dick would have a bed to sleep in. Dick wiggled his eyebrows at me and I pushed him into the direction of the empty spare room.

"I'm going, I'm going," Dick laughed loudly at me and I just blushed. While they were unpacking, I just thought of Barry. I bit my lip, looked down, blushed and grinned at just the thought of him. I almost kissed Barry Allen...I ALMOST KISSED BARRY ALLEN! What if he does like me?  I mentally did a little happy dance at the thought of Barry liking me and I sighed in contentment. Man, am I smitten with that boy...
