Elisabeth's POV:

It was sweet to watch the Baker twins hug. It felt special. I felt bad for them. Soon, that beautiful sisterly love will be destroyed again. But this time it was actually death!

"PSST, Elsa!" Scarlet pulled me aside.

I giggled.

"Yeah?" I wondered.

"Let's take a picture of them," Whispered Scarlet. "A Christmas picture!"

I nodded. Then I pulled out my phone from my dressing gown pocket. Scarlet grinned at me. She knew I wanted to have a memory of the Baker twins together!

"Elsa wants to take a picture of us, Glacie!" Alaska noticed the phone.

"Okay," said Glacier smiling, knowing where I was standing.

"Are you girls ready?" I asked. "Tilt your head slightly, Glace."

Glacier did so, smiling like a school kid. Alaska also smiled. Both girls had the same smile.

"Aww," I said as I took the picture. "How beautiful."

Scarlet nodded in agreement.

"Send it in our group!" She suggested.

I did so, hearing all three phones make different sounds. I put a caption on the photo for Glacier so she knew what it was of.

"Surely, they are all awake by now?" Alaska sighed. "I would like to open my presents now!"

"Same," said Glacier.

"Girls!" Came Maria's voice. "Come down to David's room."

All four of us squealed in delight.

"Okay, Auntie Maria!" Alaska called back. "We're coming."

Shelby and Button got up from the basket and joined us. I grinned and got Button's present. I knew what it was. I helped David pick it!

When we entered David's room, Lilly, Kate, Bruno, Winter and the three adults were there. They smiled at us as we joined them. I lead Glacier while holding our stockings.

"Ooooooooooffff, hey Button!" Giggled Lilly as Button made her way to the middle child. "Sit!"

Button sat beside her. Shelby found Scarlet and whimpered.

"What, girl?" Scarlet asked.

Shelby pawed at her stocking. Scarlet giggled.

"Not yet!" She said. "Sit!"

I smiled. Then the four of us sat down.

Soon, the whole of David's room was covered with different coloured torn wrapping paper. The dogs were having the best time, playing in it. I helped Glacier pack her gifts in her stocking. Scarlet and Alaska did the same. Winter walked next door to her and Lilly's room. Arianna hugged Glacier and me. She seemed a bit nervous.

"Are you okay, Arianna?" I asked as everyone scattered.

"You seem ... er ... nervous!" Glacier sounded unsure.

"I can't tell you, girls!" Ariana's voice sounded excited. "Not yet, anyway!"

Glacier nodded. But then turned to me.

"What?" I asked her.

"Will speak about something later!" Glacier nodded.

I grinned at Arianna. Then squeezed Glacier's hand.

"Okay," I said. "Let's take our stuff back up to our room. Then we pick up our presents for the family and friends."

"Sounds good," said Glacier.

Button ran to us, squeaking her new tennis ball. She wagged her tail.

"We can't play, girl!" I told the husky cross. "Maybe later in the garden."

Button understood and sat down. I saw Shelby try and find Scarlet. The poor dog didn't know what to do. Then it clicked in my mind. This was Shelby's first Christmas!

Sorry for the delay. Stuff has been happening. Things out of my control. But once things have settled, I will make sure I will be updating more.

The next chapter will be told in Alaska and Glacier's Point of views. There is a reason for that. And it will come clear when it's been written.
