Elisabeth's POV:

It was great to see Anna and Raven again!  It was a long time since I saw Anna. The poor girl was worse for wear. Her dad should be with Diana and Emily.

It was the next morning. Glacier was snoozing while I was pacing our room. Scarlet sat on my bed. "Sit down, Els."

I did so, joining her. "Are you okay, this morning, Scar? Glacier told me you were crying."

Scarlet sighed. "Dad sent me a worrying message."

"Let's see?" I reached out for her phone.

The girl nodded and showed me the message.

Dad: Don't freak out, yet. But I'm in hospital. Maria knows and is flying back with Alaska now! David also knows. Love you, Scarlet.

IShit, that wasn't good. I hugged my best friend. "I'm sorry, Scar. Not the greatest time."

Scarlet shook her head. "I'm trying so hard to be brave about it, Els. But it's hard."

"It's okay," I said. "You are talking to someone that lost their dad. Remember? I know what it's like. But you and Luna aren't alone."

"I'm just glad he got to see me get an award on Friday!" Scarlet let out a shaky breath. "And get to see the show."

"There you go," I said. "They are happy times. And the fact that you got to get a puppy. Your own pet!"

"I was going to show you a picture of her," said Scarlet. "But I forgot that Glacier can't see."

"I could describe it to her." I reasured her. "Ah, morning, Glace!"

Glacier stretched and sat up. "Hey, you two! Are you okay, Scar?"

"She's going to show us a pic of the puppy!" I explained.

"Cool," said Glacier coming over.

Scarlet gave me her phone again. I gasped in awe at the puppy. "Aww," I said. "She's very cute."

Scarlet smiled a bit. "She is, isn't she? Cheeky too! She tried to come back with me."

"Bless her," I said.

"What does she look like?" Glacier sat beside me.

"She's a brown and white husky," I said. "Her eyes are chocolate brown, her ears are white. Her tip of the tail is white. All four paws are also white. Her body has patches of brown on the back. Aww, her muzzle is half brown and white."

"Aww, cute!" Glacier said. "Perfect, Scarlet!"

"They did warn me that she could be hyper sometimes and to take her for long walks!" Scarlet said. "But I know Maria likes doing that. Alaska told me."

"Should we check on Anna and Raven," I said. "It is about 10:30."

"Damn," said Glacier. "I slept in?"

"It's okay," I said. "It's not school remember?"

"Oh yeah," said Glacier.

There was a knock on the door.

"Come in," I said.

The door opened and Raven and Anna stood there. "Can we come in?"

We nodded. So they both walked in.

"Morning, girls!" Scarlet smiled. "Slept well?"

They both nodded.

"Arianna told us to come and find you three," said Anna. "She's worried about you, Scarlet."

"Okay," I said. "Let's go to the kitchen."

"In my pyjamas?" Glacier asked.

"Yeah," I said.

Glacier giggled. "Oh, okay!"

We all got up and walked out the room. I lead Glacier towards the kitchen.

"Morning girls," said Luna as we walked in.

"Hey," we said.

We all sat down and sighed.
