Chapter 7

I sat there, watching as Frank set the last box down. I took a drink of my apple juice from my sippy cup, holding Pippi in my lap.

"That's it," Frank said proudly. "Why do you have so much stuff? I mean, most of this is clothes."

"I like clothes," I defended myself. "Such hard work moving all this."

Frank laughed, leaning against the table.

"Isn't this such hard work?" I asked Pippi. "She agrees with me, she thinks we should get ice cream for working so hard."

"What's even in here anyways?" Frank asked, laughing.

He picked up a small cardboard box that said 'super secret' on the side. My eyes widened and I ran over to him.

"Daddy, no!" I exclaimed.

He opened the lid and laughed, looking up at me.

"Lingerie?" He asked, holding up a black garter.

I blushed, snatching it from his hand. The small box was full of it, some of it I bought and some were from Lindsay.

"Maybe you can try these on for me some day," Frank suggested with a wink.

"Daddy," I whined in embarrassment.

I dropped the garter back in and closed the box. Frank went over and sat on the couch and I plopped down beside him.

"I got a castle now!" I cheered happily. "Such a pretty, pretty house. My big castle."

Frank smiled, pulling me in for a hug.

"Tell you what, if you be good and help unpack then you can have a reward," Frank offered. "What do you think about going to the movies and extra cuddles?"

"I like the sound of that, daddy," I agreed.

"Go get my laptop and we can see what movies are out," Frank said.

I grabbed it and sat beside him to look at the listings.

"There's The Boy," I said. "What's that about? It sounds kinda cute."

"That's not a movie for you," Frank stated. "What about Kung Fu Panda 3?"

"No, the sequels are never as good as the originals," I denied.

"Okay, what about the Alvin and the Chipmunks one?" He asked. "The road trip one?"

"I already saw that one with Pete," I said.

I scrolled through the list until I saw one that caught my eye.

"Can we please go see Star Wars, daddy?" I begged, holding his arm.

"You wanna watch the Star Wars movie?" He asked.

I nodded enthusiastically.

"Yeah, okay," he agreed. "Let's go put away your stuff and we can go grab a bite to eat and then head to the movies."

I smiled, giving him a kiss and hopping to my feet. I carried one of my boxes of clothes upstairs. We began unpacking, starting with my clothes. We stood in Frank's walk-in closet, most of it now filled besides a little spot.

"Now we need to buy me more clothes to fill it up completely, daddy," I said.

He laughed, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind and resting his chin on my shoulder.

"Yeah, maybe later this week we can go out and I'll buy you a pretty outfit or two," he offered.

"Two million," I said.

"If I buy you two million outfits then there won't be any room for us," Frank pointed out.

"But then we can buy another house, daddy," I countered. "And then we can also fill that house up with all the new clothes you're gonna buy me."

He laughed, placing a kiss on my cheek.

"C'mon, let's get the rest of your stuff, Baby Gee," he said.

I smiled, turning around in his arms and wrapping my own arms around his neck. I gave him a kiss on the lips, the feeling of butterflies in my stomach.

"Thank you, daddy," I whispered.

"It's no problem, kitten," he dismissed.

Frank pulled away, holding my hand and leading me downstairs. We got through the rest of the boxes, which wasn't a lot. I don't necessarily own a plethora of household items. It took twenty minutes to get to the movies but we were finally here.

"Here, kitten," Frank said, handing me some money. "Go buy some popcorn and a couple of snacks while I get the tickets. I have a stub card but it needs to be renewed so I have to talk to the people."

I felt myself panic a little at his words.

"I-I have to do it?" I asked.

Oh god, I have to talk to people. I'm not good at talking to people.

"Sweetheart, if we wait until after I talk to the lady then we will miss the beginning of the movie," he pointed out.

I took the money and walked up to the counter and stood in the line, looking at the menu boards. It all seemed so good, but at the same time I lost my appetite. Do we really need snacks that badly? My growling stomach said otherwise.

I placed my hand on my tummy, blushing and hoping nobody heard. The line started to move and soon I was at the front talking to a girl in her late teens.

"Hello, what can I get you?" She asked with a smile.

"C-can I get a large bucket of popcorn and, uh, two large Pepsis and a pack of gummy worms and a pack of skittles?" I asked.

"Sure thing," she said, telling one of the other people my order.

Oh no, what if they think it's all for me? They're gonna think I'm fat!

"That'll be $34.97," she said.

I hesitantly handed her the money and she handed back the change. Just then Frank walked up beside me and I sighed in relief, leaning slightly against his side for comfort.

"Here you go," she said.

She handed us the food, her smile never fading.

"What do you say, Princess?" Frank whispered.

"Th-thank you," I stuttered.

She smiled. "You're welcome, miss."

Oh no. She thinks I'm a woman. Of course I'm not a man in a skirt who's panicking at the concession stand. Pfft, how weird would that be?

I saw Frank open his mouth to defend me but I pulled him away before he could cause a scene. He grumbled something under his breath but brushed it away and smiled at me.

"You were so good, little one," Frank praised. "You were talking to people all on your own, you're so brave."

I blushed, my mind completely forgetting about the lady. We walked into the dark theater where the trailers were just ending. Frank led me up the stairs to the third row from the top and we sat in the center. It wasn't very crowded here, maybe about forty other people.

The movie started and the lights dimmed. I took my shoes off and rested my feet on the back of the seat in front of me, giggling quietly. The screen played the opening scenes, immediately taking my thoughts away from anything else. I love Star Wars. My bed spread back at my parents house is even Star Wars themed.

Frank held onto my hand, but I barely noticed as I watched the screen with wide, enthralled eyes. I heard him chuckle under his breath, leaning over to give me a kiss on the cheek.

"Shh, daddy, I'm trying to watch a movie," I whispered harshly.

"You're too cute," he muttered, kissing the side of my head.

I continued watching the movie, completely amazed by how cool it is. The scenes danced across the screen until I got to the part where Han Solo and Kylo Ren were talking. Oh yay, he's going to go back to the light side and everything will be happy again. My smile dropped when Kylo Ren stabbed Han Solo with the light saber. I gasped, along with almost everyone else in the theater. I watched his body sink into the dark pit, just like my heart.

"Th-they didn't really kill him, did they?" I squeaked.

"I'm sorry, Princess," Frank replied.

I watched the rest of it sadly until it got to the end and they found Luke Skywalker. My happiness instantly returned. Luke Skywalker has always been my hero from when I was a kid. Good, so he isn't lost. But then the camera panned out, signaling that it was the end. The credits came on and the lights came too, making me frowned.

"That's it?" I asked. "Daddy, when are they going to make a new one?"

"I don't know, sweetheart, hopefully soon," Frank said.

He collected the trash of everything we've eaten and threw it in the bin on the way out. I smiled and hopped by his side on the way out.

"Thank you, daddy," I said.

"It's no problem, Baby Gee," he said. "Let's go home and I'll run you a bath, yeah? You're sticky from the pop and candy."

I giggled, reaching forward to touch his face with my sticky hands. Frank moved from my reach and I tried again. He ran away and I laughed, chasing him through the dark, mostly-empty parking lot.

"Daddy, I'm gonna get you!" I called.

"Nuh-uh, my princess of stickiness," he denied.

I laughed, chasing him around in a circle before we finally got to the car and Frank held onto it, trying to catch his breath. I wrapped my arms around him, smiling proudly.

"I caught you, daddy," I said, my heart racing from the exercise. "Now I get my prize."

"And what's that?" He asked.

"A kiss," I stated.

He smiled, leaning over to place a chaste kiss upon my lips.

"C'mon, let's go home, sweetheart," he said, opening the door for me.
