it's christmas I can sleep in a little longer.

Might as well what do we have to lose?

I walk in my closet and see the noose I made last year sitting on the box of memories, how irony is that? My noose is on my box of things that used to make me happy, that's cute, i pull out the gift im supposed to get my little brother he's always talked about how he wanted this mario party game with the nintendo switch. I promised him this Christmas I would play with him and he would probably beat my ass in it cause he's so good at games.

I hurry downstairs and put the gift under the tree hoping no one sees me nor sees the gift going under the tree I'm pretty sure none of these gifts are for me they're all for him.

They even forgot my birthday I wouldn't be surprised that they didn't give me anything for Christmas.

I turn around and see my "dad" shaking his head at me "what?" I say harshly

" where did you get money to get that ?"
" a thing called a job?" I clap back , I past by him and he steps in front of me " what?" I hiss at him

"If you have a job why don't you pay for your meds, I'm tired of paying for them, and you do need them to help you with whatever is going on with you" I roll my eyes then run back upstairs , I close my door then I hear my phone ring and I see the FaceTime name " emma❄️🐨" I slide to answer then I put her on speaker as I fold my clothes

"Merry Christmas baby!!! , what are doing today?" She asks
"Nothing much really, I'm just folding clothes and probably going to play games with my little brother why?"

"Wanna go to a carnival late at night? , everyone will be there even bangtan boys , oh girl they're so beautiful but very nice funny guys, please I wanna hang out with you I haven't hanged out with you in a while you're always so distant I care about you rose" she pouts , I really don't wanna go because I'll run into that blue hair guy , it's pretty awkward to see him since what happened last time but I do cut off Emma and them rest of them for no reason.

You know the reason , she speaks to me

Yeah I know I reply

Sighing I pinch the bridge of my nose " fine", she squeals and I smile slightly , maybe this will be the last time I'll see you Emma , you just don't know.

I hear my brother open my door and I smile " merry Christmas baby boy" he runs in my arms and I kiss him over and over multiple times he then starts giggling and smiling a lot " Santa bought your gifts! He wrapped them up so nice and neat, wanna see what he got you?" I smile at him he nods his head then I stand up " okay let's race last person to make it downstairs has to clean the dishes!" As soon as I say that he takes off running and me behind him all you hear is the sound of our footsteps then I see him standing by the tree.

" you gotta wash dishes!" He yells
" Jesus why are you so fast?! , it's not fair!" I pick him up then body slam him on the couch he then giggles and tries to push me off , so then I get off of him and he goes to the tree shaking each gift. My little brother is the most happiest person I've ever met I wonder how he stays so happy and joyful how is he so full of life how is he so unbothered by the world. I aspired to be like him.

" tata! , look what I got!" I look at what's in his hand and see the Batman pop figure he wanted , he's trying to collect all of them and from my superhero mind geek he has a long way to go.

" okay baby! , who do you want next? I like Spider-Man" I comment
" me too I may get him next, what about Superman ?"
" hm he's not that bad but Spider-Man is better"

" I agree" he comments then I get on the floor next to him , he reaches over me asking for one of the gifts and I have it to him I just love the looks on his face they make me warm inside. He's the only person that is worth smiling for.

Yoongi pov

It's Christmas and everyone is yelling over video games I knew it was a bad idea to get these crackheads a switch for our house. We also renovated one of the extra rooms and turned it into a studio , that's all what we wanted for Christmas so we all pitched in and built it.

" Jungkook!!!" Jimin yells as he chases him around the house I'm guessing he messed him up and made him lose , namjoon sits next to me as he pat my shoulder softly

" you okay yoongi?" He asks
" yeah I'm fine and you? You seem pretty tired"
" yeah I was just up at the studio last night recording somethings , you feel better today?"
" recording something fire as per usual? Okay bet why am I not on the song?" I joke at him , he shakes his head then he pushes me slightly

" stop being lazy and come to the studio" he fires back , I poke my lower lip out and nod my head in agreement. "Fair enough" , I feel my phone ring and I see Emma's name pop up the bell does she want.

" hello?" I say softly
" hey yoongi ? , do you guys wanna go to a carnival tonight? With my girls ?"
" they probably want to go but I don't" I Then look at them " do y'all wanna go to a carnival tonight?" They all chime in and say yes then namjoon elbows me

"Cmon you gotta go have a little fun okay?" He says smiling
Sighing knowing I'm going to regret this " fine let's go" Emma squeals softly then it's followed by a giggle " good! I'll see you then!"

Rose pov

I get dressed to go out with these crazy ass girls , but I'm also nervous to see the boys , I really don't want to see them , well just on in particular honestly. I sit downstairs waiting for Emma to come to my house then i see my cat sitting on my feet, I smile then pick her up " hey Sabrina" I play with her ears for a while then I feel my phone buzz and I see it's Emma I slide to answer then I get up placing my cat on the couch " we're here" she says I hang up then walk outside I get in the car and they all smile and say hey to me. I'm very grateful for them they're very nice people amazing people but I'm not amazing.

We arrive at the carnival and it feel so cold my body starts shivering then I feel someone put a jacket around me I turn around and and see a boy with bright red hair smile brightly " no no you're probably cold as well" I say he shakes his head slightly

"I'm super warm I promise I layered myself pretty good, please take it I don't want you to get a cold okay?" He says fixing the hoodie then I put my arms brought the sleeves then he zips it up slowly then when he gets close to my chest he stops " I don't wanna violate you so you can zip it up more if you want to"

I smile "such a gentleman"
"I was raised that way" we sit down for a while as we're waiting for Emma to purchase our tickets he and I talk for a while and I get to know him , he's actually pretty nice and here I thought it was going to be awkward due to him being there. But it's not , I'm not even paying attention to him as much as I thought I would.

Taehyung and I stuck together as we left the others behind , I realize we have so much in common and he made me laugh more than anyone could , his energy was so warm and bright it made me feel so much better inside, being around him was like a Winnie the Pooh getting hunny . I grab the hammer and I swing it over my shoulder.

"Sit back and watch how I'll destroy this machine" I say with smoke coming out my mouth
"Oohh she a hulk? I see show me girl! Let's get it!" He yells , I then close my yes and think about something that previously makes me mad, then I slam the hammer on the bell as it goes up taehyung looks at me with a shocked face then it touches the top the guy at the stand claps and hands me my prize. I cheese then walk over to taehyung

"Okay she really is hulk more like sarada"
"Hey! You watch anime too?" I say walking beside him
"The question is who doesn't?" I nod my in agreement.

I look at rose as she's talking to taehyung , a part of me is happy that she's smiling with taehyung but a part of me is lowkey jealous . If I would've just man up and told her the truth.

" yoongi why don't you tell her?" Namjoon asks
"No , I think she's better off with taehyung"

Is it really better this way yoongi?

I make it home then kick off my shoes I guess today was eventful, I had a lot of fun my cheeks actually hurt , from smiling so much with taehyung.

Maybe life is as bad as I thought
