   Firstly as a new writer and reader, many people posted on reading requests on my message board, most times I just add to my reading list or private library to read later..

I ask for reading requests and I accept reading requests, when I ask for requests I try to at least read the person's book..

  Why do people decline reading requests?

Well people are actually busy and would not want to make a promise he or she won't fufil

Some people put on their description I DO NOT ACCEPT READING REQUESTS (for now)

Some people actually feel posting requests on their message boards is infringement of privacy
