Michelle was doing her usual thing down behind Seven Eleven, which was chugging down on a cherry slushee while listening to music. She never really actually chose the music she played; she just put on a random song, keep the YouTube videos on auto play, and listen to whatever was on. 

As Michelle hummed the tune to the current song and danced a bit in place, she heard some car noises coming from the front, parking and getting out of the car. 

Huh. Weird. No one ever really went to Sev Elev unless it was for gas, and yes, occasionally slushees. Michelle started walking to the front curiously and saw a blonde girl getting out of her car. 

It took her a second to realize it was Brooke from the party. Michelle got excited and waved at her, taking her headphones off and starting to walk over to her faster. Brooke looked surprised at first, but then also seemed equally happy.

"Hey, Brooke!" Michelle laughed and grinned excitedly, saluting with her hand that held the slushee cup. "How's it hangin'?" 

Brooke smiled sheepishly. "Well, I, uh... I'm good! How are you?" She fiddled with the sleeves of her cardigan softly. 

"I'm fine! So you decided you wanted to try your first slushee?" Michelle asked enthusiastically. She was actually excited to hang out with Brooke, which threw her off a little. Why would she feel so excited to hang out with her? Whatever, she just brushed it off. 

"Uh, yeah..!" Brooke nodded, still smiling a bit. 

"Okay then!" Michelle started walking to the entrance and motioned for the smaller girl to follow, which she did.

Brooke got a cup and looked at Michelle nervously. "What flavor should I get...?" She whispered. 

Michelle shrugged. "Whatever you want! I personally like cherry mixed with Mountain Dew!"

"You can mix up flavors here?!" Brooke giggled excitedly and bounced on her tippy toes. She then ran over to the Blue Raspberry flavored slushee and filled it up halfway.

Michelle smiled a bit at the sight but then stopped Brooke quickly. "Okay okay Blue Raspberry is like SUPER sweet, so you might just wanna mix in another flavor with it."

Brooke looked around the slushee machines again and stopped when she found cherry, mixing some in with the flavor she already had, humming softly. After she finished, she got a lid and a straw and giggled. "Finished!"

Clapping, Michelle grabbed onto Brooke's wrist, not tight at all, and led her over to the cashier counter area. Brooke's first slushee! This was gonna be cool! 

Once Brooke paid for the slushee after many offers from Michelle to pay, they walked out of the store and went back behind the store. There, Brooke tried her first sip of slushee.

Michelle looked way more nervous and excited then she was and definitely was— "So what do you think?"

"It's... amazing!" Brooke bounced up and down and giggled. "Like, Pinkberry level good!" 

Michelle pumped her fist in the air and let out a "WHOOP!" and hugged onto Brooke. She then realized that was kind of weird and pulled away, blushing a little. "S-Sorry I just—"

Brooke hugged Michelle and grinned. "It's okay! Hugs are great!"

After that, they continued to talk behind Seven Eleven a little while longer. Mostly just getting to know each other better. Brooke got to rant about how Chloe was always being rude to her, and Michelle talked a bit about video games and her best friend.

"So, who is your 'ex-bestie'?" Brooke asked. 

"His name's Jeremy." 

"Wait... Jeremy Heere..?"

"Mhm." Michelle nodded a bit. 

Brooke's eyes widened in shock. "H-He's the one who cheated on me during Halloween!" 

"What the fuck?!" Michelle looked even more shocked than Brooke. "Okay, okay. Wait a minute. Jeremy may have low key ditched me, but he's also a cheater? That doesn't sound like something he'd do..." 

Brooke let out a tiny whimper and drank some more slushee. Michelle hugged her again.

"Hey... well figure this out.."
