The movie started, and we sat there in silence. Zayn glanced at me, and I pushed his face from my palm back to it's real position and he chuckled and concentrated on the movie. It started with the same mysterious, creepy sound effects when the title was displayed.

Bella squeezed my hand, and I frowned at her. She didn't notice though because her eyes were widely glued to the screen. I shook my head and went back to the movie. The movie started and Bella literally screamed at the part when the little girl's father finds her while playing hide and seek.

Half of the movie went with Bella screaming, Ryder comforting her when a horror scene came and me laughing like hell. Bella glared at me everytime. The twist came when the intermission ended and we returned to the cinema hall.

This time we all were a bit bored out of the movie, and were joking around the cinema as the movie continued. People kept shushing us from the from the front seats. We just laughed in return. Bella got scared at a horror part, and I laughed at her. Bella threw a popcorn at me.

Then.

Began the popcorn war. Hehe.

We started to throw popcorns at eachother. My popcorns finished and Bella smiled at me sinisterly. I glared at her and stood up, I snatched away Zayn's popcorns and started throwing them.

'Hey!' said Zayn. I stuck out my tongue at him, and he started to catch the flying popcorns FROM HIS MOUTH. I laughed, but Bella stood up too and we went into full on ninja mode. I hid below the seats and Bella chased after me. Zayn ate some popcorns out of Ryder's pack, who was busy looking for his girlfriend. When Ryder saw that he dumped the whole popcorn on Zayn's head. When I came out from under Delancy's seat, she stared at me dumbfounded. I threw a pop corn at her face.

She avenged her popcorn pride from throwing one at my face and Kacie also got involved. Delancy couldn't forget doing her usual ritual and exclaimed out loud, 'Popcorn War!'

This alarmed all of my chimpanzee friends and everyone got involved. Aaron, as always the peace maker got between me and Delancy but Kacie intervened by shoving ice cream all over his face.

'This was to stop the cat fight with Jennifer!' she said while doing so. Aaron stared at her with mouth agape.

'I did you a favour!' Aaron shot back, but this was doom. Aaron entered his own ninja mode and started firing popcorns at Kacie. I started laughing as Zayn picked popcorns from the ground and threw them at Aaron's head.

'What a waste of good popcorn!' said Grace as she escaped from the warfare, cautiously in fear of losing her popcorn. Alice pulled Aaron to retreat from the fight, and as Aaron sat back when he caught sight of her, Alice wiped his face from her tissue paper.

'You guys are cute!' said Anna with her mouth full of chips. I snatched a hand full of them and put them in my mouth too.
Felicity gagged and said, 'They're gross!'
I laughed some more once I swallowed the crackers in my mouth.

But may I remind you that we forgot that we were currently spread out through the back row of the cinema hall and someone complained on us for causing all the chaos. The security of the cinema entered the dark hall and one by one they kicked us out of the cinema hall. Not literally. They grabbed us from our arms and threw us right out of the cinema.

We couldn't stop laughing. After our fits of laughter ended, we started our short walk back to the bus. Everyone was free for the day, and I got a call from my mom saying that she was visiting Aunt Lucy who only had twins sons, Morris and Marshal of eleven years. I always got bored there so I decided to stick with my friends.

We boarded the bus and this time I sat with Ashley. All the girls sat together at the three front sections, successfully fitting in by sitting two on one seat. We told the boys to sit at the fourth section.

We played Taylor Swift songs and started to sing to them like crazy. We started with 'Mean' and yelled the lyrics on the top of our lungs. Bella, Anna and Ashley even stood up to dance between the seats and we prevented them from falling. Bella pulled me in as I laughed. The boys joined in too.

Bella and Ryder tried to the jig and both of them fell down amidst our laughters. The fact that we were on a bus didn't bother us and we didn't know where Delancy was driving us to. That was until we arrived.

'An amusement park!' Bella exclaimed and hugged Delancy once we got off the bus. I narrowed my eyes at her. Amusement parks meant roller coasters which were a big no no to me. All of us entered shrieking and I followed behind slowly, not one bit thrilled but actually a bit scared. I wasn't going to ride any roller coasters. But I decided I didn't want to ruin it for all of them so I just shut up.

I bought a cheap rabbit head band for Zabella and wore it on my head. And returned to the now cotton candy eating group of mine. It was now five and we were wandering around the park, running. Then, the mighty death eater stopped and the queue for the next ride started. All of my friends went in the queue, and I waved them.

Yes, it was the same amusement park that the death eater was located in which just added to my despair. Zayn pulled me in with him, and I started hitting his arm.

'Stop hitting me, woman!' he said. Bella laughed and suggested, 'Zayn, i think you should just leave her. She won't ride it.'
Zayn shook his head and said, 'Cheryl, believe me, it would be a dream come true if you rode this with me.'

I narrowed my eyes at him, and stopped my hitting. His stare was intense.

'Really. You've got to try the death eater. It's amazing, plus you were very little when that happened. You can give it another chance. It won't happen again. Please?' his eyes looked honest and pleading.

'But why do you want me to ride this? Like what would the affect be on you?' I asked genuinely curious. He shrugged and said, 'Ride this beside me and I'll tell you after we come off.'

I stared at his face but then it got compulsory for me to ride the death eater when he said, 'It's a challenge, Cheryl Jones.' He smirked at me, knowing he had won. It was official, I never said no to challenges.

'I'm in,' I said and grabbed a ticket while paying for it. We got in the death eater, which was a huge dragon shaped roller coaster. Zayn and I sat on the third seat, and like before the whole thing was full of our group only. I stared at the seat in front of me as I did my seat belt and pulled the cover over my head.

I breathed heavily in panic, my heart rate got very fast and loud. It felt like I could almost hear it in my brain. I guess, Zayn noticed my flustered and terrified behaviour. He glanced at me and then looked to his front.

'It is okay, Cheryl. You can do this. Just fifteen minutes. And we're off this. Yeah?' he said still not looking at me. I nodded wildly not looking at him either and he smiled. He held my hand tightly. My cheeks got red.

'Ready?' he asked.
'Ready.' I answered.

And the roller coaster started moving. Slowly it went first with the beads of perspiration on my forehead falling to the floor, and my breathing rate getting faster, every moment. I didn't scream though because it wasn't that fast now.

Zayn squeezed my hand to comfort me.
'Cheryl, it's just a roller coaster. Keep breathing, okay?' I chuckled at his decision of words, and he laughed a bit too.

But my laughter paused as the death eater took off speed and whizzed though the sun setting sky as if it was flying. It went high up like Santa Claus's sledge and then suddenly went down. I scream-laughed, unexpectedly enjoying the ride,my heart rate bewildered and so were my half down hair. Zayn laughed out loud too at my sudden outburst as the roller coaster speeded. There was a wonderful adrenaline rush throughout my veins, and it felt as if my arteries would burst any moment. The ride was amazing.

When it ended, my hair was a wreck, my breathing was still fierce, my smile couldn't stop but my heart was at peace and satisfaction. I had overcome my greatest fear. I was over excited by this thing and the first thing I did after we got off the roller coaster and were onto the park was jump onto Zayn for a hug.

Although he was taken aback at first but then he reciprocrated and I laughed into his shoulder. He was really tall so I was half way up the ground. He set me back down on the ground and we broke the hug. I felt my friends staring at us, but Bella told them all to stop and they dispersed. I couldn't say we had complete privacy but we stared into each other's eyes unsure of what to do.

My hands were on his shoulders and his were on my back. We stood there in silence lost, until he broke the silence by saying, 'You enjoyed?' I nodded, 'I overcame my greatest fear, Zayn! I am so happy! It's all because of you! Thank You!'

He laughed and hugged me one more time, this time making it short and we walked towards the ice cream parlour in the park, smiling and satisfied.

'One scoop Caramel Crunch and the other scoop should be butterscotch,' I said as we got to the order counter, 'with chocolate syrup on top.'

'Plain chocolate for me,' said Zayn.

We collected our ice creams and joined the others who were currently in the row of the Ferris wheel.

'I want to see the sunset from the Ferris wheel. It will be mind blowing. Cheryl, Zayn you guys come with us,' Bella said pointing towards Ryder and her. I nodded and pulled Zayn in the first carriage.

Everyone got in different carriages of the huge Ferris wheel. I didn't have any fear of Ferris wheels because they moved really slow. We were in the first carriage so we were already at the bottom again, as everybody climbed.

The Ferris wheel started moving slowly and it was a lot of stops later that we arrived at the top and the view above was worth all the wait. The sun was at it's last shine, and the sky was coloured with all the beautiful oranges and pinks. It looked like a wonderful rainbow explosion. I stared at the sky awestruck.

Bella put her head on Ryder's shoulder and they both held hands as they stared at the sky, while our carriage was at a pause at the top of the Ferris wheel. I smiled at them, and went back looking to the sky.

Suddenly fireworks started adding beauty to the already lit sky. I grinned at Zayn and he smiled back. I went back to the sky again and said, 'It's beautiful...'

'You're beautiful,' he whispered but I heard. I pretended not to hear and said, 'You said something?'

He shook his head, smiling and said, to my gratefulness, 'Sure it's a very beautiful sight.' I tried avoiding eye contact with Zayn after that. I had a very weird feeling in my stomach and I wanted to go back home.

I stuck with Bella on the bus as Delancy started to drive us back to our houses. My heart was beating really fast and my face was set in a deep frown. Zayn sat with Ryder two seats behind us and I was thankful that I had my distance with him.

I guess Bella noticed my frown and anxiousness, so she asked, 'Cheryl, you want to talk about something?'
I nodded and Bella called over to Delancy.

'Delancy. I am staying at Cheryl's for now. You can drop me there.'

Bella sure was very cheerful and childish, but when I needed her, she always stick to me and talked like a mature adult. Sometimes, talking to her was all I wanted and needed. While getting off the bus, we waved at all our friends and I glanced at Zayn. He waved and smiled and I smiled back but it was a forced one because I didn't want to hurt him.

Once we got in, we raced to my room and we both changed into comfy clothes. It was only eight in the night so Bella said she could go back to her home till ten or eleven. Her older brother could pick her up. I was relieved that we had a good three hours to talk.

'So what's up? I know this is about Zayn,' she said as I jumped and laid down on my bed, beside where she sat. I stretched my arms, and nodded.

'Yes this is about Zayn. But I don't know where to start. I don't know how to explain this to you. I am confused,' I stated with a straight face.

'That is okay. It's normal to feel this way,' she said, 'Okay. How's this? I ask you questions and you can answer them. Then you won't have to explain by yourself.'

I nodded and sat up facing her. We both crossed our legs. I fiddled with my fingers and she thought about what to ask first.

'Okay. First, let's get this straight,' she started looking straight at me, 'Do you like Zayn?'

I looked down and stared at my folded legs.
'Cheryl???' Bella asked.

'I don't know,' i said putting my head on my hands.

'Do you get butterflies when he's near you? And do you like talking to him? And do you like spending time with him? Do you think he's handsome? Do you like the way he talks or laughs?'

'Yes. Yes. Yes.' I said.

'Then you like him.'

'No. No. No. N....'

She cut me off, 'Cheryl you like him but you don't want to admit it.'

'Yes.'

'So what is the problem? Why don't you want to admit it?' she asked smiling.

'Because if he thinks I like him, he might ask me out. And I don't think I am ready to have a boyfriend. Heck. I wanted to be a cat lady!' I said whining.

She raised an eyebrow at me, 'Grow up Cheryl. You know you can't be a cat lady with those pretty hazel eyes, and that wonderful attitude you got.'

I smile at her, 'Thanks for the compliment but I am not ready. At least I think I am not.'

'Well then. Wait for the time when you get ready. No one's forcing you.'

'But I have given him enough hints and if he asks me out I won't know how to say no. I don't want to hurt him because fine, I admit. I like him.'

'So why don't you just stay friends for now. You know? If he asks you out, tell him about your situation. I know Zayn, he is very understanding and cooperative. He won't be hurt. He will give you the space. But don't be afraid to admit that you like him in front of him.'

I nodded, 'But I still want to be a cat lady with Grace.' I stuck out my tongue at her.

'Hah. I bet you both won't be able to do it. Like look at you guys, Grace is crazy. She had the cutest blue eyes and her charming smile. By the way, Zayn likes you and he told me.'

'I know that. But I didn't know that you know.'

'Yeah and I got none of that, and the new guy who's really cute in our....' I cut her off.

'Uhhmm. Uhmm. You have a boyfriend Bella. Stop calling other guys cute,' I say fakely glaring at her.

'Oh, whatever. His name is Noah and he's in my history class and he likes Grace. And you know Harry?'

'You mean the vice captain of the football team?'

'Yeah him. He has a crush on Dawn. And Josh, the cute chemistry nerd who is my lab partner? He likes Samantha!'

By this time I was looking at her weirdly, 'How do you know all of this?'

'Talent babe,' she said in a south Indian accent like I have heard people talking in Tamil movies.

'Don't talk like that Bella. Please. It's doesn't suit you.'

'Yeah I know. I know about all the crushes of the boys of our school on the girls  of our group. And also,' she said with the same excitement, 'Caroline, the head cheerleader's boyfriend wants to break up with her! He likes someone else, I think he likes Kacie but she is going to kill him.'

'Oh my God. Stop, Bella. You are such a gossip girl.'

'And did you know, Gabe, that Jerk has two elder brothers who have a criminal record.'

'Okay I have had.....wait. What?' I asked, shocked. She nodded, 'Yes! I am so scared Cheryl, I got to know this yesterday and I fell off my bed. His brothers can kill you!'

'Shut it stupido. No they can't. I'll kill them before they kill me.' She grinned brightly, 'I am so proud of you.'

I smiled back and as she went out of the room, and eventually the house after she heard the horn of her brother's car. I laid back and thought about everything that happened. I knew the confrontation with Zayn had to come soon.
