Raeder Log 1: First time as a director of URNC and about the Federation War

This is Raeder Rossartre log 1 August 28 2029, this is my first time as the director of the UNRA since 2023. From that war so called Federation War, the Americans had locked in the war against the Federations of America. Sometimes... I was not involved in the Federation War. I was focused on the Relics site, the country's view about the Federation War going on, the NATO supported America while German politician Federick Von Oberstein criticized Wilson for letting his daughter into Mexico while heavy fighting. The news report about the Refugee camp killed many people including the US personnel in Las Almas... It goes on for four years its like the longest war in the American Continent.

*sigh* On June 8 2027 the news came up on Fort Santa Monica, California, the Federation launching operation until the United States retake it from the Federation Invaders. The US commence operation surprised attack in South America, planning to destroyed Federation satellite Array and anti-guns to let US space force to capture the destructive weapon called LOKI. Yes those, weapons are powerful, they didn't have Collapse and no nuclears. When yesterday in 2017, the Federation launch assault on Orbital Initiative, ODIN striking US soil, killing millions of people, including DC. Luckily, I survive the ODIN strike impact, some UNRA told story about ODIN strikes, they seem survive the impact, and our HQ was damaged by ODIN. The ODIN cause the impact of earthquake, Damn... it made me horrible of that weapon.

On top of that the US Relic Site, D-51 China Lake, CA was intact and avoid the Odin Impact. God... I hope we don't want to make apocalypse.

As you know the Federations developed in reverse engineer from the Wreckage of Odin located in California, they built LOKI, another weapons. The US conducted operations sending the last carrier USS Liberator and her strike group in her sacrifice to bring United States army into Chile infiltrated and Captured Territories.

The news heard from the US, that they captured the LOKI, turning against Federation fleet, making US supported by Allies to gain support and aid them. As we heard, US exposed the United Nation that Federations plan is to conquer the world, and the death tragic with Federick Von Oberstein, some German Police will give to his family. In South America, some groups called Bolivian Liberation Force, they are rebels against Federation hearing about expansion and murder many people in Las Almas.

The Federation War has come to an end in 2028, or post-war in 2029. The United Nation Council arrest many generals who responsible war crimes and the man takes the lead his name Antonio Dantes, and his General who is related to Che Guevara, Eurico Geuvara. Both and BLF planned to overthrow Almagro and his supporter of Federations. They learned wanted to end the war and their pointless expansion. Dantes wanted to create New Federation as his supporter protest UN of not Dissolved the Government. They believe the South America was reunited into one was flags of nations will be part of states members.

God I... I know that... US and New Federation had gain new relationship and US regain as sole Superpower and New Federation became fourth superpower. *sigh* Finally, this war was finally end... now I can continue the Relic Research since the halt due to the Federation War.

Raeder Log 2

On the 17th of January, I was hosting an academic conference on Relic site exploration in Hong Kong. At 15:27, we felt a slight tremor in our conference room on the 27th floor. At first, we thought it to be an earthquake, but it was only after Adam Holmes called me that I learned that there had been a gigantic explosion on Beilan Island. According to the files which the Chinese government turned over to the UNRA, the four cities of Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi and Nantong had been hit by an explosion and shockwave surpassing that of a thermonuclear bomb, and a conservative estimate suggested that around 200'000 people had been instantly killed in the blast. After learning that this was a Relic explosion, I immediately contacted the UNRA office in Beijing. Relic explosions are not like nuclear weapons; the dispersal of high-energy Collapse Fluid does not trigger a powerful EMP blast like normal nuclear bombs do, due to mutual interference between electrical fields. By 1600 hours, I had roughly surmised the situation from our Beijing office — satellite imagery showed a massive quantity of Collapse Fluid falling back to earth from the stratosphere, which would contaminate about 1.5 million square kilometers of land in eastern China. Fortunately, there was a high-pressure anticyclone to the northwest of China at the time which strengthened the westward wind. In the end, the contaminated area was limited to 1.1 million square kilometers. Please bear in mind, these 1.1 million square kilometers of land were a dead zone. The Collapse Fluid there was of such a density that survival would be impossible even if one received vaccination against ELID. By 16:30, the Collapse Fluid had rained down on the region, and in several hours' time, there was no more life in that land, only the ELID Infected.

At this point, I wish to tender my sincerest and utmost respect to China's public officials, the enlisted men and officers of the PLA, as well as the Chinese police, firefighters, and the civilian militia. I do not wish to discuss the matter of who in the Chinese government was responsible for Beilan Island at this juncture. To date, we remain unable to enter Beilan Island to directly explore and verify the situation, and the files which China has made public only show records that 7 middle-schoolers trespassed into the relic and the subsequent operation log of the SCAPF team which was mobilized in response. This information does not suffice to explain why an intense explosion would occur in a sealed, armored Collapse Fluid crystal capsule. Our knowledge of Collapse Fluid and Relics tells us that a detonation of Collapse Fluid that is sufficient to trigger a chain reaction is only possible with the use of laser igniters, and I personally find it impossible to believe that those middle-schoolers or the SCAPF units at that time had the ability or even the equipment to do such a thing.

Hong Kong was outside of the Collapse Fluid contamination zone. Even so, the citizens of Hong Kong were already fighting over food or water by 17:30 on the day itself. The situation became so chaotic that the Hong Kong authorities had no choice but to declare a curfew at 18:00, which meant that the academic conference would have to be adjourned as a result. Soon, the only people left in the conference room were overseas scholars like myself. Leaving Hong Kong that night was impossible; we could not obtain travel permits to reach the airport at night. Therefore, everyone decided to wait until morning before thinking about how to get to the airport. Due to the rampant spread of wild rumors, the Hong Kong authorities began restricting communications, which directly affected local network speeds. Initially we were affected as well, but with the cooperation of the conference's organizers, the block was seemingly lifted on Internet access within the building and it returned to normal. At 17:40, the UNRA informed us that there would be special arrangements made to get us out of Hong Kong at 3 AM that night. Before that, all we could do was wait at the venue to be picked up by personnel from the Hong Kong Police Force. At that time, I still did not know that over 100 crystals of Collapse Fluid had been activated during the Beilan Island detonation. These transport capsules were equipped with their own propulsion systems and had exited the atmosphere during the blast, and they touched down in the Central Asia and Pacific region over 1000 km away from Shanghai. These crystals capsules spread Collapse Fluid throughout the Eurasian continent and the Pan-Pacific region, leading ultimately to an irrecoverable disaster.

At 1 AM, the VIPPU convoy arrived on time to receive us. It was only when the UNRA flight took off from Hong Kong that I had the chance to take a nap on the plane.

When we arrived at Sydney, the Chinese government had already begun taking charge of the evacuation of the lightly-contaminated regions. At the same time, under the leadership of the UNRA, New York had reached a unanimous decision — a rare occurrence — about how to deal with the Beilan Island Incident. After a short rest in Sydney, we threw ourselves into the evacuation plan known as "Operation Noah". Personally, I need to be honest about one thing. The Beilan Island Incident was a catastrophe, but when I saw the various nations put aside their own interests, feuds and grudges in order to cooperate on the evacuation work, I once believed that what lay ahead of us was an ending where we could all work together to achieve a shared victory.

Clearly, I had been too naive.

In February of 2030, the US forces garrisoned in Seoul worked with the UNRA to establish several dozen safe zones in the ROK. These safe zones took in close to a million survivors. When one considers that the Korean Peninsula was a heavily contaminated zone, that figure was nothing less than a miracle. However, the fact that there had been no refugees from north of the MDL made me feel uneasy, and the facts would vindicate my suspicions. Initially, I was filled with anger at the DPRK of North Korea; how could they ignore the safety of their people, refusing to let them enter the ROK safe zones and remaining obsessed with their ideological differences and their desire to take land, even in the face of such an apocalypse? It was only two years later, when the Congressional hearing asked me to take the stand as a

witness, that I realized who had pressured them into such action. The hearing in 2032 revealed evidence that the American government at that time had cited outrageous political demands as conditions for allowing North Korean citizens to take refuge in the ROK, Unsurprisingly, it incensed the North Koreans, who were on the brink of collapse. The situation in the Korean Peninsula rapidly deteriorated without our knowledge. At the end of February, the US forces in the ROK detected unnatural movement of resources. They prepared to abandon South Korea and move to Japan, and yet they kept us all in the dark.

Yes, the US army's presence in the Korean Peninsula was not to conduct a rescue operation, but to carry out an act of blatant political blackmail. But in the end, the arrogant Americans had shot themselves in the foot.

The North Korean army launched their attack on the 3rd of March. I still clearly remember that it was 5:20 AM in the morning when a Korean UNRA worker hurriedly woke me up. He told me that the DPRK army was attacking, and got me onto a UNRA chopper which flew me to Busan. This was a terrible move and a shameful flight. As I looked out at the dawn horizon from the helicopter, I saw firelight dotting the mountains to the north. A blaze had broken out in the safe zone during the confusion, and the South Korean residents fled south like panicked ants amidst the sea of flames. I could not imagine what kind of fate awaited them — after being exposed to a contaminated zone without protection, they would either become ELID-Infected or be shot by the armed forces guarding the Busan safe zone.

After reaching Busan, I was transferred to the nearest airport — the UNRA had already arranged for a plane to withdraw their personnel to Japan. At first, I protested; how could the UNRA just abandon the survivors in the ROK and evacuate? But these people from New York did not even mention the matter of the survivors, and told me that I could either leave with them or stay in Busan. What could I do? Should I have stayed behind with nothing but my bare hands? Without resources, equipment or manpower, not only would I be unable to rescue any survivors here, but I would also be throwing away any chance I had of saving others. While fleeing was a disgraceful thing, I had no choice. And so, I followed the UNRA personnel to Japan, leaving behind the Korean Peninsula as it burned.

After arriving in Japan, we were immediately tasked with building a new safe zone. During my free time, I tried asking the US Embassy and the UNRA about the conditions in the ROK safe zones. However, they kept mum about everything happening in the ROK. As one of the main persons responsible for the ROK safe zones, I ended up having a brief meeting with the one of the executives of UNRA HQ in New York in the Japan safe zone. The first proposal I made back then was that the management of all the Japanese safe zones should be given over to the UNRA. One of the reasons why I had done this was because I had learned from the people in charge of the Japanese safe zones that the contamination situation in Japan was more optimistic. Another reason was because it would be facilitated by the development of Japanese Relic technology during the Relic bubble. The UNRA had been running a large organization in Tokyo for many years, giving us enough manpower and resources to deal with any uncertain elements.

FTac Recon felt selfish about US Government, the man's name Captain John Copperfield from 13th Air Force commence operation Hammerfall on Korean Peninsula, why didn't do conduct rescue operation but to carry out an act of blatant political blackmail, why did US political demands to let North Krea citizens to refuge in the South Korea. Because North Korea was the enemy with America most.

Some PMC G.H.O.S.T. conduct rescue operations and help Korean to get them out and so US Soldiers always supported rescue Operations but why Political Congress.

In 3rd of March, the Korean War has begun. The US Army was there involved with South Korea, against North Korea. On the other hand, his friends, also participate in the war, conducting operations stealing North Korea Silos, and LOKI bombardment the area before the Korea's brink of collapse in 2033.

Raeder log 3

Try to imagine the situation in Tokyo. Many survivors have to "rest" in subway tunnels for 72 hours before they can take their turn in a glass-walled train station to get some sunlight. For the most part, they can only sleep in their designated spaces. Both entertainment and sports products are very rare within the safe zones. Based on experience from prior UN peacekeeping operations, confined environments like this typically leads to many people performing group exercises out of a sense of despair. But in this place, the people quietly and calmly wait in their positions, taking turns to share their limited supply of books, comics or other forms of electronic entertainment. Japan's nuclear power plants are currently running on automatic systems, and so the amount of power that the safe zones require is nothing compared to the quantity that is produced.

On May 2nd, the UNRA announced that the status of the Tokyo Safe Zone was being upgraded to the Tokyo Protected Zone, and so they would be taking in more Japanese survivors. At the same time, we requested that the Japanese government arrange for a safe corridor leading to Hokkaido so they could transfer survivors to the low-contamination regions in Hokkaido. I once calculated that if we maintained our present rate of intake, we would be able to transfer all the survivors in Japan to Hokkaido and the lightly-contaminated regions in the northwest of Japan. Initially, the Japanese government had their doubts about the plan. Hokkaido was the sole non-contaminated island chain in Japan, and it was the final safety barrier for the Japanese government. I took part in three meetings organized by the Japanese, and every single one of my Japanese counterparts confided in me that there had been fierce debate in the Japanese Cabinet — in particular, with the regional authorities in Hokkaido — regarding the matter of "whether or not we should let the survivors into Hokkaido". That was hardly strange. Opposition to taking in survivors grew in accordance with the scope of a disaster. However, I gave the Japanese officials a warning from my own perspective. Taking in survivors was the only course that would not lead to the country and its people fracturing, and the more dire the situation, the more they ought to face this time of difficulty with unity and understanding. The Japanese officials indicated that they understood, and some of the Tokyo-born officials swore that they would make the plan work at the cost of their lives. However, I had no confidence at the time over whether or not the Japanese government would actually move the survivors to Hokkaido.

On May 10th, the Japanese government called the railway department together and ordered them to transport survivors from the Tokyo Protected Zone to Hokkaido via the Seikan Tunnel. That day, we held a little celebration in our Tokyo office. This was the first time we had managed to transport survivors of the Beilan Island Incident from contaminated zones to non-contaminated zones. I believed that this would be the beginning of a bright new future.

But I was wrong.

On the 15th of May, the first protest against accepting survivors broke out in Sapporo. While the protest did not result in a clash with the police, the slowly-igniting wave of public opinion cast a shadow on our operations. Just as some of our Japanese colleagues in the UNRA had feared, while Japanese society ostensibly had no opinion on the matter of the survivors of the Beilan Island Incident, those survivors who had been evacuated from the disaster area to Hokkaido suffered abuse and discrimination in private, far from the eyes of others. The facts proved that our optimism was nothing but wishful thinking on our part. In the end, this dissatisfaction finally became public. I will never forget 3:10pm on May 23rd; it was when the Japanese Cabinet issued a statement from the former Hokkaido government office in Sapporo, delivered by a US Marine Colonel from Yokohama Air Force Base to the UNRA's operational headquarters in the Setagaya District of the Tokyo Protected Zone.

The statement was short and simple.

"We will be temporarily discontinuing the intake of survivors, pending further discussion by the Japanese Diet over the matter."

That night, the UN General Assembly convened an emergency meeting, and the final resolution was to once again emphasize the importance of the Tokyo Protected Zone and the Japanese survivors in rebuilding Japan to the representative of the Japanese government.

But in the end? The Japanese government chose to abandon us and the 120 million Japanese citizens who remained in the Red Zones.

Log end

FTac Recon felt sad and horrified to Japanese Government abandoned their people, Mina told him about her government abandoned their people after the First Belian Incident, it made darkness moment for him, but he cares about people and his comrades unfortunately, his brother and his team turned him until the JMSDF rescue him and there he met Raeder. The US 3rd fleet began lockdown of the Tsugaru Strait, making passage to Hokkaido by water impossible. And Raeder explained to him about Japanese government to UNRA was "endangering the peace and safety of the nation", and in accordance with Article 5. Jessica told her that US Military full control over the UNRA during her life work. HBRa3's right, UNRA wonder what are they planning, since US full control the UNRA. He vow to protect the people, and his friends not for the government but some people in government like president, etc always supported him.

Raeder Log 4

Until now, I still can't believe what happened in Tokyo. That Marine colonel called us into the meeting room and read the Japanese government's ultimatum to us: they said that the UNRA was "endangering the peace and safety of the nation", and in accordance with Article 5 of the Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security between the United States and Japan, the US military would be assuming full control over the UNRA. At that time, the person in charge of the Tokyo Protected Zone, Sato Mayuka, stood in front of that colonel and stated that she would not abandon the Tokyo Protected Zone and the survivors of Tokyo. The colonel sneered, and pointed out that the Japanese government had granted the US military the right to shoot any members of the UNRA who resisted and refused to comply with orders, with the Japanese government taking full responsibility for the matter.

After that, he took out his pistol and shot Madam Sato in the leg. The scene turned to chaos, and I threw myself on the ground, taking advantage of the confusion to leave the meeting room. In my confusion, I ducked into a nearby broom closet, terrified that soldiers would catch up to and kill me. However, I did not hear the sounds of further gunshots, or the sound of footsteps. Long after that, when I had returned to America, I learned that Sato Mayuka had surreptitiously started a net conference with UNRA HQ in New York. The people from HQ immediately stepped in after the colonel opened fire.

However, I feel that even if I had known that, it would have only made the results of that compromise harder to swallow. UNRA HQ actually accepted the ultimatum of the Japanese government and the US military garrison, and asked all its staff to withdraw from Tokyo.

Raeder log 5

I did not leave Tokyo. After the US military took the UNRA staff and withdrew, the Protected Zone immediately descended into struggles for resources, and even the JSDF's good order collapsed in the face of abandonment by the Japanese government. Amidst the chaos, there were still a few JSDF servicemen willing to take orders from the UNRA, thanks to the assistance of several high-ranking officers in the JSDF, Under their leadership, we managed to temporarily withdraw to JGSDF Camp Mishuku. It was only in the JSDF central hospital that we managed to use the Eastern Military Region's communication group's equipment to make contact with a recon unit searching for survivors in Kansai. The recon team brought back important news — they had found an individual who was immune to ELID in Nagoya. As in, the kind of person whose genes would not mutate even when exposed to Collapse Radiation in a contaminated zone without protection.

This was a completely immune individual!

Imagine if the most dreadful aftereffect of the Beilan Island Incident no longer existed; if Collapse Radiation did not cause ELID. How many regions contaminated by Collapse Fluid could be used once more? I made a decision on the spot and asked the recon team to protect that immune individual. Then I gathered the remaining personnel and procured a vehicle, preparing to go to Nagoya to receive her. If we could defeat ELID, then the Japanese government's lockdown would be meaningless, and there would no longer be any discrimination against the survivors of the Beilan Island Incident.

With those thoughts in my heart, I got 10 UNRA staff members together and gained the assistance of 2 platoons of JSDF volunteers, and we started on the road to Nagoya. But I had no idea exactly how badly human character would warp in the absence of reason and under danger. Some survivors near Nagoya saw Kazusa as a maiden of portents, viewed her as a "miracle", a "holy maiden" and various other cliched forms of religious reverence. They asked the UNRA staff to ask Kazusa to pray for them every day, as though doing so would stop them from contracting ELID. At the same time, other survivors saw her as an "inauspicious" being, and her presence made her the culprit behind the "divine judgement" afflicting them.

How ironic that the same person would be treated by people in two completely different ways.

Not long after I left, the recon team protecting the immune individual came under attack. After learning that Hokkaido was under lockdown, those survivors who saw Kazusa as misfortune began moving in force against the camp of the recon team within the Protected Zone. Amidst the conflict, an operational team managed to break through the cordon of rioters under the cover of the JSDF personnel, but the other members in the recon base were not so fortunate.

The situation was extremely dangerous, and the members of the recon team who had fled did not possess protective equipment or vehicles that were provided even minimal protection, and they could not last long when exposed to Collapse radiation. We hurried along through the night and found the recon team members who had escaped Nagoya in the Shizuoka mountains, but it was too late for them. At that time, one of the team members had collapsed on the ground, twitching like he was having a seizure. The other man seemed to have gone berserk, screaming and shouting and hacking at a tree with a shovel — as expected, these were symptoms of mid-stage ELID. There was nothing we could do; such was the terror of ELID.

log end switch another log

We had no choice but to shoot the UNRA personnel who were in the middle stages of ELID. When their bone-chilling screams no longer echoed through the air, the immune individual that we were looking for nervously emerged from behind the vegetation.

She was the first ELID-immune individual I had ever seen — Kawasaki Kazusa, that was her name. Kazusa was a 16 year-old high-school girl, and she had been exposed to Collapse Radiation on the day of the Beilan Island Incident and passed out. When she came to, she retained her senses and did not become a deranged, violent ELID sufferer. After that, Kazusa survived on food scavenged from the storerooms of local supermarkets and convenience stores. She encountered the UNRA scout team while searching for food, and they brought her back to the Nagoya recon base.

And now, my mission was to get her out of Japan — and utterly destroy ELID.

Log end

He didn't know why Raeder rescue the Immune girl name Kazusa, because she is first ELID-immune individual and survivors wanted her dead or seize her. He remembers Raeder explained to him about taking Kazusa.

Raeder: Oh, that's... *sad* that one of my UNRA personnel.

They continue walking while he talked.

FTac Recon: What happened to them?

Raeder: My personnel went into the Middle Stage of ELID disease, I don't know why they infected since Kazusa was immune to ELID but you, your not infected from the ELID did you?

FTac Recon: Well.... yes, my I don't remember during my mission, only I remember was umm rescue the imperial Japanese family from US government and successfully took them to Hokkaido, but first I check them whether they were infected with ELID or not.

Raeder: *surprised* Oh interesting, well... I could tell your second Immune to ELID and survive.

FTac Recon: *happy* Yeah... so when you plan so call evac from Japan with Kazusa?

Raeder: I had conducted effort to plan to secure her to outside of Japan. I got contact with someone that we can escape.

Raeder log 5

I had to take Kazusa and leave Japan, and tell everything here to the entire world.

The UNRA staff helped me obtain a "Load-Bearer" unit. This sturdy, two-legged machine would ensure that I would not be exposed to radiation when traversing contaminated regions. They also found me a nuclear contamination reconnaissance vehicle used by the JSDF, and recommended that I head to Niigata. A Russian man who was very familiar with the situation in Japan told me that there was a sea route there which led to Vladivostok, and that if I was lucky, I might be able to find a boat to take me away from Japan.

Naturally, I wasn't going to bet my life and the future on a baseless possibility. While the US military had severed all communications between Tokyo and the outside world, they should not be able to jam the satellite network that the Russians used to give orders to their nuclear submarines and long-wave radio signals.

As one who often dealt in Relics, I also had the chance to interact with many people — especially those who did not bear any goodwill toward Washington DC.

For instance, "Misha" from Moscow.

After planning my route to leave Japan, I told Kazusa about how the Tokyo Protected Zone had collapsed and my plan to head to Niigata and then travel to Russia via the Sea of Japan. As a scientist of the UNRA, I was even advising her to leave Japan with me. She had unimaginable value who could survive in areas of high-intensity Collapse radiation without developing ELID; her value in saving the world after the Beilan Island Incident was unimaginable.

Of course, she could imagine what could happen to her — being studied like a lab specimen, undergoing all sorts of tests and experiments, and she would certainly be autopsied or even vivisected. I did not want to make any excuses on that front. As a scientist and a member of the UNRA, my sole aim was saving the world. In the face of that, any price was... bearable.

We chatted all night long, and while the mood was not too happy at times, she ultimately chose to leave with me.

FTac Recon exactly why Raeder take Kazusa from Niigata to Russia in the Sea of Japan. Of course, why Raeder who did not bear any goodwill toward Washington DC. If he do, US declare him traitor, that why. FTac Recon got his friend Kastov 762, he remember in video call, about he spent time his friends about planning of civil War in Russia, because he didn't tell him why, its because of someone goes by the name Zelinsky.

Raeder Log 6

There was a traitor among the JSDF servicemen.

When I made my decision to take Kazusa out of Japan, the traitor spread the existence of an immune individual outside Camp Mishuku and the Kansai and Kanto factions quickly shifted their focus from seizing resources to Kazusa. The Kanto faction took a clandestine route through the Sanda district and attacked from the south, while the Kansai faction launched a direct attack through the Shibuya district, following the Yamanote Line to hit us from the north. While these uncoordinated and disorganized gangs were no match for the JSDF, we would not be able to hold out for long with our shortage of manpower. In the end, the JSDF decided to use the last few remaining armored vehicles they had obtained from the First Division to clear a path for me and Kazusa, allowing us to break out from the western flank of Setagaya park.

The plan to flee Japan began at 21:30. 19th June. I drove wildly down the westward road, with the JSDF base burning to ash behind me. The Kansai and Kanto faction sensed my departure and gave chase on vehicles of their own.

During our escape, Kazusa was hit by a stray bullet.

I did everything I could, but she didn't make it in the end.

FTac Recon: *thought* Poor JSDF they sacrificed of their last few remaining armored vehicle from First division to let Raeder and Kazusa... while I help JSDF, I could tell him I had to stay with them and protect Raeder and the girl.

Raeder log 7

It was only after arriving in Russia that I learned that it was on the verge of breaking up. Kawasaki Kazusa's corpse was taken away by a group loyal to the Bolsheviks, and they warned me to leave Russia as soon as possible, or else it would be difficult to return to the United States. On July 5th, I was booked on a cargo plane that was returning to Yekaterinburg. Right after that, I spent a long flight under the eyes of two guards — these two "Mishas" did not seem particularly relaxed around me.

On the 8th of July, I finally saw "Misha" again in Moscow — or perhaps I ought to address him by his full name of General Mikhail Semenovich Tsvigun. When I saw him, he was accompanied by one of his students, Viktor Pavlovich Zelinsky. I had met Tsvigun in 2023, during a research conference about the gigantic Relic cluster in the Antarctic. As one of the last gatekeepers of the former Soviet Union's Relic technology, he gave us many useful and constructive suggestions, which led to good progress in the subsequent Antarctic Relic explorations.

After a brief introduction, they asked for everything I had on me, as expected; my notes, my portable hard disk, my recording pen, and the like. They duplicated everything — although I have to say that it was quite a bargain to gain a first-class ticket on a nuclear submarine.

While the data was being copied, we sat and drank a cup of tea together. I told them about my experiences in China, Korea and Japan. Zelinsky listened earnestly, even taking notes in his book. And Misha... Mikhail Semonovich Tsvigun simply closed his eyes and shook his head.

They did not react much to what I had narrated. Perhaps they had long since become used to such things. After the duplication was finished, they gave me a set of personal items and even a thousand pounds sterling in cash. Zelinsky told me that there would be a flight to take me to London tonight, and once I woke up, all I would need to do was to rent a car and head to the UNRA building by the Thames River.

In truth, when he said that, I was more worried about whether I would be able to reach London alive.

And that was the last time I saw them.

log end

FTac Recon could tell that Zelinsky had conversation with the man name Mikhai Semonovich Tsvigun, or Misha they called him, it seems Raeder had contact with Misha in Moscow that's why.

Raeder log 8

I could not believe what had happened to North America. I warned them, two months ago, but they treated what I said as a madman's ravings. Was it because I had come back on a Russian flight? Did they think I had been brainwashed by the Russians?

The deteriorating situation in North America led to the UNRA ceasing its observations immediately. I was escorted from a safehouse by a bodyguard and moved to the London branch. When I entered the office area, the noisy workers immediately fell silent, watching me as I headed to my desk. What eyes did they have when they were looking at me? I saw fear, admiration, uneasiness, distress — but the only thing I didn't see was hope. Yes. How could there be hope? We might have saved Sato Mayuka from Tokyo, but when she learned that the Japanese government had abandoned the Tokyo Protected Zone, she had cast herself from her hospital ward, screaming her final cry with the remains of her life.

The destruction of hope transformed it into belief,, just like how the officials in the London office listened earnestly to my stories of the contaminated zones. I regurgitated all the things I had said verbatim once more. What a joke, If they have paid more attention to my logs 2 months ago, I might not even have needed to come back.

The situation was bad. Or rather, it was terrible. It was hard to imagine that a place like Salt Lake City could have been annihilated by an exploding Collapse Fluid capsule. To think these greedy merchants actually tried to force open a Collapse Fluid capsule, without thinking about whether they had the ability to handle it! In any case, according to the data they provided me, there was probably no way to hold Denver, and Kansas was probably a contaminated zone too. As for our northern neighbors... the Yukon and British Columbia were done for.

I needed to begin working on an evacuation plan right away, in order to save as many people from the West Coast as possible.

Luckily for Colorado, the US Government and PMC that Cryptid Technology was very immune to ELID, it made them idea to get rid of it, so they set up on the Caldera Peak as their site of Cryptid Colony. They test some creature that they captured in Caldera Peak, they are immune to ELID disease. That's how it works, it was thanks to C6, and C8 who were built in America, they can finally get rid of ELID, and create a dome for Cryptid Colony for research while humans can also go underground.

Raeder log 9

It's over, it's all over.

Things being what they are, all our efforts are for nothing. Our belief in a world where we could all work together to achieve victory was nothing more than a self-deceiving lie. Mankind has revealed its most primal instincts in the face of disaster. I'm not simply pointing a finger at the people of the EU who are refusing refugees entry — those refugees who took the opportunity to sneak in and do wicked deeds and the ones who covered for them are more deserving of blame — but saying all this now is pointless.

Lines have been drawn. Now, I can't even bring the refugees back to my apartment. The door guard stopped that little girl from entering, and left her to stand in the middle of that vicious blizzard until she collapsed. All I could do was watch from behind my double-glazed windows and watch it happen.

My mission is over, but that does not mean my battle is over. Right now, my heart is filled with new strength and new will.

Saving mankind is no longer my mission, because mankind does not need to be saved. What mankind needs is self-redemption, to struggle and suffer for their sins, to regret their wrongdoings, to castigate themselves for their foolishness.

And then, they will be reborn amidst the flames!
