Shadow Company was founded by Philip Graves, Jake's father in 2017 as a global risk management protection, and Private military firm that specializes in troops, air and maritime deployment anywhere in the world as it mainly employs former special operations members globally. It saw its fair share of success and controversy and frequently contracted by General Herschel Shepherd of the United States Army and once by Allegiance.

Following event of Modern Warfare II, Modern Warfare III, Shadow Company disband. In 2034, Shadow Company was restablished by Jake Graves, to follow his father's footstep. The Shadow Company became the second largest PMC in the world followed by G.H.O.S.T (PMC) a global dominance PMC. 2035, The North Light Incident, the Europe faces the refugee crisis by Collapse Fluid Cluid and rise of neocolonialism in North Africa. Shadow Company used the Anti-Collapse fluid called Cryptid Technology equipment. They will give the soldiers to enter the red zone Fluid with new ELID equipment. Next IOP is founded in Ukraine as part of the International Service for Military-Technical Cooperation between Neo-Soviet Union and Pan-European Alliance.

Shadow Company doesn't need IOP, instead using autonomous bipedal robot C6 and C7 by G.H.O.S.T. PMC for their PMC.

In 2041, Shadow Company was place involve in Lybria to aid Italy to take down the coup detat in 2037.

In 2050, Following Neo-Soviet Union overruns Italy and Rome Surrender, NATO loses the European front and US fall into political chaos. In American Civil War, NATO Collapse, Shadow Company also Involve in American Civil War by contract from East Coast American Rosstarism Alliance. But however some few American didn't like the name of ECARA, but president and few Americas declared USA only for ECARA was just a alliance name. As United States remain neutral of Patriot and Rosstarism. Shadow Company made a surprise massacare attack in Second Siege of Moscow to hunt down the Neo-Soviet General who led the loses of NATO, US and Europe front. The Neo-Soviet Blame Urzikstan was responsible attack but denied.

Shadow Company always support US alongside G.H.O.S.T PMC, they were always support Patriots and didn't trust Rosstarism because of Mix. 

In 2067, Shadow Company was contracted by Donald Shepherd to eliminate General Mohammod and led AQ and OpFor invasion in Verdansk. Donald imploy contract from Allegiance in Verdansk and support Coalition and Allegiance in involvement.
