"Upon the conclusion the War in Europe in 2050, the former European Union and NATO were dissolved after capitulating to the NUSSR and Pan-European Military Alliance. The sweeping Operation Tradewind in Italy and southern France brought a swift end to five years off... widespread conflict on European and North African Soil. Prolonged attrition was the death knell of Western Europe, and the power vacuum left in the EU and NATO's wake was promptly filled by the newly established Pan European Union and sporadic rebel and popular uprisings. In Germany, the pyrrhic victory meant the fledgling new German Democratic. Democratic had outlasted Frankfurst, and over the next decade, East and West Germany reunified once again - this time under the GDR flag. Sometimes since, a deal between the GDR and NUSSR to divide a defeated Poland (formerly NATO, poor Poland did repeat the same thing), splitting their jurisdictions via the Central Poland Red Zone, formed in 2035 after the Northern Lights  incident. Everything west of the Zone fell under the GDR and everything east to the NUSSR. The status of eastern Poland...

... remains uncertain, whether or not it exists autonomously or absorbed by the Belarusian and Ukrainian SSRs. As for Ukraine, the conclusion of the Ukrainian Civil War in April 2043 bisected the country in Kyiv, where the Soviet-backed East Ukrainians held everything eastward, and... the former Ukrainian government fell back to Lviv, then West Ukraine. By the end of the War, it's likely the case the NATO-backed West Ukraine fell to the NUSSR, extending the Soviet border from the Kalingrad to (minimally the possible Romanian and Bulgarian SSRs.

Next to Southern Europe, little about this region generally throughout the history of Girls Frontline, apart from the currently-existing Yugoslavian Federation (members states supposedly Serbiam Kosovo, Montengro and Bosnia and Herzegovina) no information... indicates whether Yugoslavian Federation of the 2060s is the same Yugoslavia of the post, or the product of World War III. As for other Adriatic and Aegean states, nothing official is yet written, but the NATO's collapse and preliminary war map suggests a Soviet presence in the region. Athens in Greece has been mentioned, though only in passing. Given proximity and the war, Bulgaria may have also fallen under the NUSSR before or after war. (Also AndreaGrilli9 as what Ferrari said, modern NATO states are seemingly not 1:1 with GFL in the 2040s) Returning northward, countries of Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary are all dubious in their position. Any conclusions are the product of speculation regarding a vague few details. Prague in Czechia was mentioned during Poincare Recurrence, discussing rogue fighters entering nearby airspace, confusing the Soviet Western Military District. Tracking a fighter near a city is certainly not substantial evidence of a Czech SSR, but other cities in the NUSSR were mentioned in the same discussion, plus the GDR and NUSSR are said to share borders.

In conformation lore from Girls Frontline 2: Exilium, we know the Government of Slovakia (all Yellow) was overthrown in 2054. As a current NATO member, Slovakia potentialy was flanked by an expanding NUSSR perhaps absorbing Slovakia amid chaos or a revolution after NATO's dissolution in 2050. That said, it's purely speculative and it very well may be Czechia and Slovakia retain independence or exist under different government. North European is a different beast altogether, the vast majority of Scandinavia and Baltics were enveloped by the Red Zones after the 2035 Northern Incident in Kladoaivi, Finland. Norway is aid to retain some Green Zones, likely contained along the mountainous coasts, in its fjords; moreover, Norwegian Lobsters were shipped to Avernus in Germany during GFL1. Most of Scandinavia was stripped bare by the calamity, with the subsequent Collapse Radiation belt stretching from Finland, through the Baltics, and into the Adriatic, carving Central Europe in half.

In Western Europe, little is written about the political status of the former EU's heart post-war. We've seen Paris, France in the main GFL 2 PV, and London, England is still an economic and technological capital of the Region. Sir Griffin Lyons of MI6 and the Rossartrist Prometheus Council once work in the UK Cabinet Office. For the current Pan-European Union, born from the Soviet-aligned Pan-European military Alliance during WWIII, France, Germany, France and the UK are all confirmed or near-certain members. Any other post-EU/NATO state may fall under this umbrella as well.

According in Girls Frontline 2 Exilium lore, the post war era in Western Europe. It's a region of substantial importance. But yeah, the Paris seen the city light up and the Eiffel Tower seen active, but the half was broken
