Background: 

The United States of America or U.S.A is a country of North America, which secured a globally important position in the world balance in the modern era. After World War Two, they had engaged in an arms race with the Soviet Union over the control of powerful relics technology, often to devastating result. The United States also participate in the war of Tel Aviv War (2005 to 2015) which Middle led a devastated the entire global region and the oil refineries, triggering a global energy crisis that send First World Countries around the globe spiralling into chaos. While the United States, Russia, NATO, China, India, Japan, and Asia spread themselves thin trying to maintain order and Asia Floundered, the oil-rich South America nations of Venezuela, Brazil and Chile united to form the Federation of the Americas. Which led the Federation War in 2015 and halt in 2017 and then ongoing in 2027 until 2029 ended. Like all of the world's major powers, they were significantly weakened during World War Three, and after by a new American Civil War. But as the Civil War ended, by Elizabeth Harper with her spiral leadership, Liz led the Union to put the end of American Civil War.

 Despite Important in the background of the Girls' Frontline series, the United States are conspicuously absent from main stories. But still, the United States has a secret war, for centuries. The people within United States orchestrated in secret of reviving the "True Patriots" by containing the Patriot's Legacy files contained of 600 million Dollars.

 Territory: United States of America is a federal republic consisting of 50 states, a federal district (Washington D.C. the capital city of the United States) five major territories and various minors islands. Both the states and the United States as a whole are each sovereign jurisdiction. Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution allows states to exercise all powers of government not delegated to the federal government. Each state has its own constitution and government, and all states and their residents are represented in the federal Congress, a bicameral legislature consisting of the Senate and the House of Representatives.

The US lost Hawaii, minor Islands and Western Coast due to the Collapse Fluid leaving 32 States left in East Coast. Until new American Civil War started at 2051 to 2053 as America Reborn, and Calfifornia reestablished unknown.

History:

Indigenous peoples, probably of Asian descent, have inhabited what is now the mainland United States for many thousands of years. The first settlement that would go on to form the modern-day United States was established in 1607 at Jamestown, Virginia. The United States was founded by thirteen British colonies which were located along the Atlantic seaboard. On July 4, 1776, they issued the Declaration of Independence, which explained to the British why they were at war with them and their desire to establish a cooperative and independent union. The rebellious states defeated the Kingdom of Great Britain in the American Revolutionary War with aid from the Kingdom of France. In large part because of the importance of the document in forming the United States, the day the Declaration of Independence was issued was considered the birth of the nation, with the anniversary of its writing being celebrated every year on July 4 as Independence Day, or the Fourth of July. The Philadelphia Convention adopted the current United States Constitution on September 17, 1787; its ratification the following year made the states part of a single republic with a strong central government. The Bill of Rights, comprising ten constitutional amendments guaranteeing many fundamental civil rights and freedoms, was ratified in 1791.

In the 19th century, the United States acquired land from France, Spain, the United Kingdom, Mexico, and Russia, and annexed the Republic of Texas and the Republic of Hawaii. Disputes between the agrarian South and industrial North over states' rights and the expansion of the institution of slavery provoked the American Civil War of the 1860s. The North's victory prevented a permanent split of the country and led to the end of legal slavery in the United States. By the 1870s, the national economy was the world's largest. The Spanish–American War and World War I confirmed the country's status as a military power.

During the last year of World War Two, the US deployed Alsos team to plunder the war secrets of the Nazi and the Japanese, especially their research on nuclear, rocket and aircraft technology. On the surface, Alsos teams managed to grab most of the important materiel and personnel before the competing Soviet Trade Federation could, but only after the start of the Cold War did they realize that it was only because the Trade Federation was focusing on relics technology. When the US forces captured Wernher Von Braun at Bleicherode, the understaffed Alsos team prioritized the rocketry equipment and personnel and ignored the local Urkunde-01 relics site, yielding 10 years worth of research to the advancing Red Army's vanguards. In 1945, the United States emerged from World War II as the first country with nuclear weapons and a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, further solidifying its presence as a military superpower and establishing a large global influence. 

When the Cold War started, the US advantage in the field of nuclear weaponry held only until 1949, when the Soviets matched their capabilities thanks to their own research. When the Soviets finished the "Starfish" installation at the Tabasar-B Proving Grounds, the US had no mean to know if it was an offensive system, and they kept over two bases' worth of strategic nuclear weapons pointed at the site as soon as they developed the necessary intercontinental ballistic missile capability. The West only realized the extent of the technological gap with the Soviets in 1955, during their last deep intelligence mission in Eastern Europe, conducted with Marshall Plan assets before the Warsaw Pact would close the region behind the Iron Curtain.

Relics Experiments

The US sought to rapidly regain a technological advantage with more experiments on relics site. In 1955, the US established the McMurdo Antarctic surveillance station 1.1km from the recently discovered relics site D1 on the shores of Lake Vostok in the Antarctic Ice Shelf, later nicknamed "Door". The black budget governmental organization "Big Sieve" was also founded to study relics technology on a tactical level. Between 1955 and 1980, Big Sieve would scramble for relics site in US-controlled territory and discover three more: D2 at Los Alamos in New Mexico, D51 in the Lake Central region of California and D9 at Warren, Wyoming. Big Sieve would collaborate with the military in the relics research and excavation matter. They worked with the Army to hide a research institute in the Redstone Arsenal, and would found Skunk Works with the Air Force and Lockheed-Martin. The mechanical finds at D1 would be transported to the US and Skunk Works would derive the U-2, SR-71, F-117, F-22 and F/A-00 from the research and retroengineering of these relics.

In 1957, when the Soviets launched the first man-made satellite, the US decided to refocus its research structure and Big Sieve's responsibilities became purely governmental, in charge of discovering and protecting US relics, and scouting and destroying enemy relics. Research responsibilities fell in the hands of a new organization proposed by President Eisenhower to Congress: the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA), managed by the Secretary of Defence. ARPA was accepted the day it was proposed and had received 5.2 million US dollars in startup funds five day later, totaling 200 million dollars in investment by the time it was officially founded in 1958. ARPA was of great military strategic importance for the US to take back the technological advantage, and all projects had to be completed with no delay. If not, it was handed to a new team and restarted.

At D9, ARPA experimented an anti-organic matter gas found in relics on live subjects. This gas is only known by ARPA's nickname "accelerant", and of the 130 tons recovered and stored in D9, 3 were deployed to Vietnam for live combat trial in 1968 on orders of President Johnson. Modified F-4 known as Thundercats deployed the gas under direct order of Big Sieve, and by the end of the Vietnam War in 1975, all 3 tons had been used up, sometimes creating 500 meters-wide clearings of burnt earth and vehicles without leaving a bone or a leaf behind. The US were the first to use relics technology in warfare. The "Lady Liberty" experiments conducted at the "Door" studied a teleportation phenomenon between relics D1 and D2 by way of manned and unmanned pocket submarines. Success and survivability of the experiments were erratic, with pilots contracting ELID infection. The infection rate was growing rapidly with the intensity of relics research, and by 1981 the growth rate was deemed dangerous both by the West and the East.

Cold War

Before Detente, and Cold War, The United States was one of the three countries whose true power players became part of a secret group called the Philosophers. During World War II, the U.S., China and Soviet Union amassed a vast cache of funds, which would later be known as the Philosophers' Legacy. The three countries' Philosophers pooled their assets in order to secure victory in the War, funding such activities as backroom campaigns and military research. The three countries agreed to distribute the assets after the end of the War.

During the war, the U.S. acted on false information supplied by the Soviet Union, in regards to John von Neumann being a Nazi spy sent to sabotage the Manhattan Project. America's "Mother of Special Forces," The Boss, was ordered to assassinate Neumann and make it seem as though it were an accident, although she failed partially due to her joy at being pregnant with her child. The Russian Philosophers had released the false information in order to prevent the American Philosophers from developing a plutonium bomb as soon as they did.

After the Allies secured victory in the war, the confusion that followed allowed for the theft of the Philosophers' Legacy. This resulted in the three branches of the Philosophers each scrambling to acquire the Legacy for themselves, which factored into the main causes of the subsequent Cold War. The U.S. and the Soviet Union immediately embarked on a nuclear arms and space race in their attempts to dominate the other. But neither side went into war with each other, fearing nuclear retaliation.

From 1956 to the early 1960s, From 1956 to the U.S. sabotaged several Soviet attempts at Sputnik testing due to intel supplied via a sleeper agent handpicked by The Boss, although it later became apparent that he was bought off by the Soviets after the CIA pocketed a large portion of his paycheck, feeding them misinformation instead. Eventually during the Cuban Missile Crisis, the U.S. and Russia entered negotiations to prevent a nuclear war from happening. Officially, the U.S.' end of the bargain was to dismantle their nukes from Turkey, called the Turkey Deal. In actuality, however, it was to allow the Soviets to retrieve a defecting Soviet rocket scientist named Nikolai Stepanovich Sokolov 

In 1961, a small task force is sent to Cuba, to assassinate the Communist persona Fidel Castro,  which, in the end, fails. In 1963, a squad is sent to Bakinour USSR, to sabotage the Soviet space program, and successfully destroys a space rocket, Soyuz-2, which was planned to deploy a spy satellite into orbit. 

Operation Snake Eater

In 1964, two years after the Cuban Missile Crisis, the U.S. secretly planned an operation to first recover Sokolov, and later to eliminate the rogue GRU Colonel Volgin and the threat posed by his secret weapon,  as well as to assassinate one of their own agents, who defected to the Soviet Union. However, the real purpose was to recover the Philosophers' Legacy that was in the hands of Volgin, and also having The Boss fake her defection to get the Philosophers' Legacy, although due to various manipulations, including the U.S. Government nearly ending up going into World War III with the Soviet Union due to Colonel Volgin destroying the Sokolov Research Facility using one of the experimental Davy Crocketts that The Boss (and by extension, the U.S. Government), they ended up eliminating The Boss in order to clear their own name and at the same time gain the Legacy. After the success of Operation Snake Eater, however,  the U.S. only recovered half of the Legacy.

Post-Snake Eater

n 1965, the Vietnam War escalated with the U.S. becoming directly involved in the conflict, and with the increased exposure to the war, there came a further increase of anti-war protests and the hippie movement, via student movements, with motives including problems with the drafting procedure for college students. They also embraced ideals besides those such as free love, as well as advocating for radical change. The hippie movement in particular was also criticized by some for being a social problem.

Five years later after the assassination of John F. Kennedy, in 1968, the United States is deeply engaged in the Vietnam War. On January 21, the Studies and Observations Group were deployed in the defense of Khe San with support from the United States Marine Corps. Soon after, on February 2, American marines are engaged in retaking the city of Huế, South Vietnam. An SOG team is deployed to retrieve a Soviet defector and multiple documents in the SOG headquarters. On February 9, a CIA agents recover intel on a Soviet biological weapon, known as Project Nova, which they plan to use against the United States. Through the next several weeks, American special operations are conducted in Vietnam, Laos and the Soviet Union to eliminate the leaders of the project and to stop the weapon from initiating. On February 25, the CIA discover the location of the Rusalka, a Soviet ship which is to send a radio signal and release Nova Gas all over the United States. Only hours later, an American strike force is sent to assault and destroy the Rusalka, which is successful, assuring safety across the nation. 

San Hieronymo Incident

In 1970, the Pentagon and the CIA began to bicker between themselves over the Legacy. An incident in the San Hieronymo Peninsula of Colombia was instigated to end the American Philosophers by Major Zero and former Philosopher triple agent Ocelot. Their control over the United States was transferred to the modern successors named the Patriots.

Post-San Hieronymo

In 1974, the U.S. was engaged in SALT-II talks with the Soviet Union to reduce their nuclear armaments but was also trying to deal with the Soviet infiltration of Central America. The Soviets had the intention of converting the entire subcontinent to Communism and cause a big blow against the U.S. since it's their backyard. Due to their economic and trading ties, the loss of Central America to Communism would possibly cause the U.S. to lose the Cold War. At the same time, the U.S. had a major scare when it appeared that the Soviet Union launched their full nuclear arsenal against the U.S. mainland. They prepared to retaliate until Big Boss called to notify them that it was a false alarm set up by CIA station chief Hot Coldman. 

Similarly, the East Coast of the U.S.' nearly came under a nuclear strike, this time from an agent of the Patriots, then operating under the name of Cipher, in order to frame Big Boss and his private military unit, the Militaries San Frontieres, for being an extremist cult as a safeguard should Big Boss not agree to rejoin Cipher. As the Cold War drew to a close, the United States was gradually falling under the influence of Zero's Patriots, who sought to unify the world by control.

Post-Peace Walker

The United States ended up hiring the services of MSF, alongside its allies. This eventually resulted in a scandal when this was discovered after an attack on their main base of operations at the time, Mother Base, largely due to the media reporting that they were a "money-hungry private militia."

The U.S. was later aided the Mujahideen during the Soviet-Afghan War to drive out the Soviets, which Ocelot noted was revenge for their failure in Vietnam. In addition, they sold high-grade weaponry to various PFs in Africa, which was implied to be due to Cipher's influence.

The CIA later worked with MI-6 and SAS to eliminate agents Jason Hudson, Grigori Weaver, and Alex Mason, who were deemed threats to the security of America and as of 30 of October 1978 the operation, dubbed Operation Charybdis was already in preparation.

Détente 

With mediation from the Vatican and World Health Organization, the Relic Arms Limitation Treaty took place in 1981 and were signed on November 3rd. Both parties agreed to stop relics research effort for the time being and work toward a vaccine for ELID, with research debuting on 1983. Relics information were also shared during the Accords, and the Soviet Union had to trade their data on Pikes for the ARPA to recognize the use of relics technology in Vietnam.

The end of the Cold War and the dissolution of the Soviet Union left the United States as the sole superpower. The country accounts for two-fifths of global military spending and is a leading economic, political, and cultural force in the world.

The Treaty would later be expanded into international collaboration on relics technology, leading to the formation of the United Nations Relic Science Agency and the GAVIRUL Reproduction Projects.

Patriot Rule

Before United Nation Relic Sience Agency and the GAVIRUL Reproduction Projects, By 1995, the Patriots controlled all aspects of American life, pulling the strings such as the choosing of the U.S. President behind closed doors. The Soviet Union collapsed, leaving the United States as the sole superpower. Big Boss prepared to rebel against the Patriots through the Outer Heaven Uprising in 1995 and the Zanzibar Land Disturbance four years later. The United States, under the control of the Patriots, saw their former hero as a terrorist and managed to foil him both times via Solid Snake, an agent of FOXHOUND.  In the latter event, the U.S. saw potential of a new weapon called Metal Gear and secretly began building Metal Gear REX under the joint cooperation of ArmsTech and DARPA to counter the effects of global military downsizing. By this time, the U.S. was engaged in treaty talks with Russia to reduce their nuclear armaments. In the meantime, Big Boss was recovered, still alive but heavily charred and kept in stasis by the Patriots. Zero extended his control over the American state to include the whole world in the meantime and commissioned the development of AIs to carry on Zero's interpretation of The Boss' will.

Shadow Moses Incident

In 2005, the United States was prepared to sign the START-3 treaty with Russia and reduce their nuclear armaments further when FOXHOUND, led by Liquid Snake, rebelled and took over the Shadow Moses facility in Alaska, where Metal Gear REX was to be tested. In actuality, the U.S. President George Sears (a.k.a. Solidus Snake) masterminded the incident without the knowledge of the Patriots, to rebel against them. Solid Snake was called in once again to foil FOXHOUND's plans but the Patriots got wind of the terrorist action and worked behind the scenes to recover the bodies of the Genome Soldiers and REX's test data.

Post-Shadow Moses

The incident became public knowledge when Natasha Romanenko published her book. In the Darkness of Shadow Moses: The Unofficial Truth  detailing the events of the Shadow Moses Incident. This led to the Patriots to remove Solidus as the President and appointed James Johnson, as the next President. The Patriots held a fake election in order to convince the public that they were in control.

The Manhattan incident

By the time of the Manhattan Incident in 2007 (and later 2009) the Patriots implemented nanomachines into the U.S Military.

Post-Big Shell

The SOP system, as it was called, helped improve their soldiers combat skills without going through intensive training and ID-tagged their weaponry and gear. They later became dependent on the nanomachines to guide their actions. However, the United States could no longer interfere in other countries' military affairs without suffering severe public backlash, especially after the Big Shell Incident in 2009. The Patriots thus created the war economy to be fueld by private military companies. These PMCs were endorsed by the United Nations, but the U.S. Government did not appreciate the idea. It was too late, however, because since the Cold War the U.S. had exported too much military power to the world and was now paying the price. Five of the biggest PMCs were headed by a mother company called Outer Heaven led by Liquid Ocelot, and two of them were located inside the U.S. Together these PMCs rivaled the United States Army in manpower and machines but the U.S. could only observe or supervise their actions while the war economy was going on.

Guns of the Patriots Incident

In 2014, Liquid Ocelot was planning to launch an insurrection against the Patriots. The United States initially turned a blind eye to this. But after Rat Patrol Team 01 reported Liquid's increasingly hostile actions, the incumbent President finally gave the order for the U.S. military to take Liquid and the PMCs down by force if necessary. However, Liquid managed to hijack the SOP system by using the corpse of Solidus Snake and locked the U.S. forces' weaponry. Effectively Liquid forced a violent ceasefire across the globe, leaving the U.S. military and the rest of the globe powerless and ineffective to stop Liquid's insurrection against the Patriots. However, Liquid only controlled small arms and vehicles implemented with the SOP system; nuclear weaponry was still in the hands of the United States (or rather, the Patriots' core AI, JD)

The United States was saved from Liquid's insurrection, and also freed from the Patriots' grasp, when an aging Solid Snake, with help from his allies, stopped a nuclear strike from Outer Haven and FOXALIVE wiped out GW and all of the other Patriot AIs. FOXALIVE left parts of society controlled by the Patriots intact, allowing the U.S. to rebuild as a modern civilization. Although its military was in disarray, with many soldiers suffering from SOP syndrome, and its government reluctant to continue pursuing unilateralism, other countries fared worse economically, due to their reliance on the war economy. The last remaining founders of the Patriots (Zero and Big Boss) died, thus ending the Patriots' reign over the United States for good.

Tel Aviv War ( c. 2005 - c. 2015)

The Tel Aviv War or Invasion of Tel Aviv is a conflict that occurred prior to 2015. It was presumably fought by the United States of America, assisting its ally Israel in an attempt to fight off one or more of Israel's neighboring countries. The conflict followed a series of other Middle Eastern conflicts, but is notable for causing such massive devastation of the region that those countries involved subsequently collapsed, setting off a global energy crisis that crippled First World nations who had relied on Middle Eastern oil. This enabled the rise of the Federation, which dominated the global energy market going forward.

Federation War (July 8 2015 - 2017 - and ongoing)

Years before the war, the Middle East was wracked by multiple conflicts, culminating in the Tel Aviv War, which devastated the entire region and the oil refineries, triggering a global energy crisis that sent First World countries around the globe spiraling into chaos. While the United States, Russia, NATO, China and India spread themselves thin trying to maintain order and Asia floundered, the oil-rich South American nations of Venezuela, Brazil, and Chile united to form the Federations of the Americas. With their combined strength, they were able to monopolize their resources and ruthlessly consolidate power over their neighbors. The Federation soon developed into an aggressively expansionist superpower and became the primary rival of the United States.

Operation Return to Sender

In 2015, Federation leader General Diego Almagro, a staunch anti-American, ordered all U.S. citizens present in Federation territory be imprisoned or executed, a move immediately condemned by the United States. After the killing of 20 United Nations Peacekeepers by Federation troops, the U.S. government authorized Operation: Return to Sender, an invasion of the Federation with the goal of dismantling it and assassinating Almagro in Caracas, Venezuela.

The operation marked the beginning of open conflict with the Federation. Although Almagro was successfully killed during the assault on Caracas by Ghosts, the operation failed to stop the Federation itself and ended sometime later with both sides agreeing to a truce.

World Marshall Incident

By 2018, the U.S. economy was still stuck in recession since the fall of SOP. The five largest PMCs during Liquid's insurrection had since split up, leaving World Mashal Inc, to become the largest PMC on the planet. World Marshal and many other PMCs began to heavily advertise themselves to influence the mass media and public opinion to the point where it would be impossible for anyone or any organization to directly or legally challenge them despite the Patriots' downfall. Colorado Senator and potential 2020 Presidential nominee Steven Armstrong planned to reignite the war economy so as to "jump-start" the U.S. into reducing its unemployment rate. He also revealed his own motives for gaining the presidency, intending to remake the U.S. by destroying the government and have it become an anarchistic country based on "survival of the fittest." Although Armstrong was killed by Raiden, the war economy had successfully been reignited.

Over the next two years, while the truce was in effect, the Federation recovered and continued to flourish economically. Its military moved northward unchecked, invading and conquering the countries of Central America and the Caribbean.

Assault on ODIN and start war again with Federation

By 2017, the United States had developed the Orbitial Defense Initiative or ODIN, as a safeguard against foreign attacks. During its final tests, ODIN's command station was hijacked in a surprise attack by Federation astronauts, effectively breaking the truce with the U.S.

The Federation soldiers proceeded to target and strike the American mainland with its own kinetic weapons, decimating the American south and southwest and causing an estimated 27 million civilian casualties. ODIN's crew attempted to defend the command station during the attack, but it was destroyed in the battle, preventing the crew from regaining control of ODIN's payload-firing satellites and halting the strikes. Before ODIN could hit other targeted cities, including Washington, D.C., ODIN's remaining crew sacrificed themselves to scuttle one of the satellites and causing a chain reaction that knocked the others out of orbit. Believing the U.S. crippled by the strikes, the Federation launched a full-scale invasion and overran several cities along the U.S.-Mexican border. 

In 2023, the Mexico last line defense, is Las Almas Intervene the Federation Invasion, the G.H.O.S.T and US aided with Los Vaqueros and British Special Forces, to rescue Michael J Wilson's daughter codename princess and her friend. However, the Refugee was killed including General Arthur Clark with him. By 2024, After learning the refugee killed by not just AQ but the Feds led by Almagro tyrant, this led many people want to stopped the expansion and end that Tyrant leader, the rise of Bolivian Groups, led by Antonio Dantes and the descendants of Che Guevara, Eurico Guevara. Alongside is the ULF legendary soldiers, Camilio Flores and Lucia Flores. The Bolivian Groups, the United States then aided the Bolivian Groups in follow year of the war.

Rorke and "LOKI" 

A decade later in 2027, the war between the Federation and the U.S. had been fought to a stalemate with the Americans holding their ground. The front lines stabilized among the ruins of American cities, with a massive concrete wall (the "Liberty Wall") and mined no-man's land dividing American and Federation territory.

American defensive lines seemed to be impenetrable. However, the Federation conducted renewed offensives along the frontline. They began capturing and interrogating civilians living among the urban ruins for intel about routes through or around American defenses; the stronghold of Dallas fell overnight due to the successful application of this strategy. Having been reduced to fighting a defensive war, there was little U.S. forces could do to turn the tide. As months went by, more and more Federation invasion forces attempted to breach through their line of defense, but the Americans managed to hold their ground, despite losing Dallas.

Suspicious of the Federation's increased activity, Elias Walker dispatched his sons Logan Walker and David Walker behind enemy lines to investigate Federation movements. They discovered a dig site where one of ODIN's crashed satellites was being excavated and studied, and learned that a man named Gabriel Rorke, a former Ghost who had been captured during Operation: Return to Sender and converted to the Federation's cause, was involved. Soon after, Fort Santa Monica was assaulted by a Federation fleet, but U.S. forces, including the Walkers, defended the base. Elias Walker then informed his sons that he is the leader of the Ghosts and they had proven themselves worthy of joining.

Federation Day

The Walker sons first mission as Ghosts aided with ULF, Camilio and Lucia was to capture Federation scientist Victor Ramos in Caracas and interrogate him for Gabriel Rorke's location.

Operation Deadbolt

Although the operation proved to be a trap, the necessary intel was retrieved and Rorke was captured at an industrial complex off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula in Federation-occupied Mexico.

Again, however, Rorke outmaneuvered the Ghosts and escaped, leaving the Ghosts stranded in a dense Yucatan jungle. While en route to extraction, the Ghosts observed what appeared to be a Federation missile test; unbeknownst to them, the missiles were rockets delivering components of the Federation kinetic weapon system to Earth's orbit.

Operation Clockwork

The missile launch alarmed U.S. leadership and the Ghosts were ordered to uncover what the Federation was planning. An infiltration of a Federation research and development, or R&D, facility in the Andes mountains resulted in the acquisition of casualty estimates for an unspecified attack on the U.S. mainland. After linking the missiles to a top-secret Federation factory, "the Shop," near Rio de Janeiro, the U.S. initiated a two-pronged attack.

Operation Black Ice

First, a vital Federation oil platform off the coast of Antarctica was destroyed by a Ghost assault. When the Federation moved the fleet defending Rio de Janeiro to the area in response, Rio was left vulnerable.

Operation: Gravedigger

A Ghosts combat dive team sank the sole LCS left behind to deter American aerial assaults and successfully enter "the Shop," finally exposing the Federation's secret: an orbital kinetic rod weapon system, codenamed "LOKI".

LOKI has been developed from ODIN's crashed debris and were able to be reverse-engineered with technical details provided by Gabriel Rorke and had been designed for danger close situations, as well as large-scale bombardment of targets. With a powerful kinetic weapon at the Federation's disposal, the United States faces an imminent threat of potentially catastrophic proportions.

Operation Blindside

After the Ghosts' rescue from Las Vegas, the United States would commence another invasion of the Federation. As part of this the U.S. committed its last remaining aircraft carrier, the U.S.S. Liberator, and a mothballed space shuttle in an all-out assault to disable and capture "LOKI" before it could be activated. While the Liberator and its accompanying ships moved to Chile's coast and deployed ground forces to take LOKI's communication facility in the Atacama Desert, an American strike team used the shuttle to board the satellite array's command station (codenamed FEDSAT) nd disable it. Although the Liberator carrier battle group was almost wiped out by a responding Federation fleet, the mission succeeded and LOKI's fire was redirected at the Federation's fleet and local ground forces.

What would have been a resounding victory for the Federation instead became a significant defeat, albeit one that only evened the playing field for the U.S., rather than ending the war outright.

In the battle's aftermath, Gabriel Rorke captured Logan Walker, intending to turn him against the Ghosts and the United States as Rorke himself had been turned.

Ending the Federations

Victory for the Federation, didn't go last long, as United States exposed to the United Nations revealed Federation plan to take over the world, and the assassination of Fedrick Von Oberstein leading Europe and Asia invade Feds alongside Bolivian group to put down the tyrant. And the war of Federation ended and the leader has escaped leaving generals and supporters to get arrested by nations. This mark the end of the Federations and the rise of the New Federations led by new leader Dante. The rise of New Fed was good and powerful relationship and alliance by United States President and its all thanks to the legendary soldier of Bolivian group and ULF, Lucia Flores after her uncle presumed dead.

Execution or Sentence of Federation top generals

With the war ended in 2028, the United Nation council to participate on trial as the world watch, the trial began to make a sentence and executions of Federation top generals, and the pro-Fed keep rising while the New Fed and UN Peacekeeper arrived to stop the Pro-Federation Movements. The US captured LOKI, now bring New Federation

First Belian Island Incident

In the days following the Beilan Island Incident of 2030, the United States heavily influenced East Asian politics. US troops participated in disaster response in South Korea, but on the order of the American President, they also ensured a complete lockdown of the North Korean border, preventing any North Korean citizen from seeking refuge beyond the 38th Parallel unless their government accessed to particularly harsh political demands. The country responded by hiding its population underground. The actions of the US were made public during a United Nations hearing in February 2032, and on March 2nd, the North Korean military crossed the DMZ and started the Second Korean War. Having noticed the early signs of the attack, the US garrison in South Korea had already begun retreating to Japan, and left the peninsula to be engulfed by the war caused by their blackmail.

The CIA agents, G.H.O.S.T. and ULF went critize on American politician, not to attack South Korea but to prevent North Korea citizen moving to South.

America's Stealth Tactical Dolls Classified and experiments human genome DNA

The British Scientist, Henry J Morse, founded LAB39, and the creation of S T-Doll the Seven Generation Dolls a sub-variant. The US Government, aided Henry J Morse in a project of Stealth Tactical Dolls relating to the battle data, gained from the Perfect Soldier, Gray Fox, Solid Snake, Raiden, Solidus Snake Big Boss, Gene, The Boss (herself), Vamp, Python, Elisa and Ursula, Johnny Sasaki, Revolver Ocelot, Decoy Octopus, Vulcan Raven, Sniper Wolf, Psycho Mantis, Vulcan Raven and Liquid Snake. But for Henry he rejected of not using Liquid Snake DNA and Soldius Snake DNA, because it will make one of the S T-Doll to turn rogue.

The Successor Project for S T-Doll was headed by Henry J Morse without telling Hesh, including his friend Persica and Lycoris about his work.

United States and Patriot's Legacy

The United States learned the potential of Patriot's Legacy contained files of 600 billion dollars. The Patriot's Legacy split up amongst Many Americans but the world like Japan, China, France, German, UK, Russia (before as Neo-Soviet Union), Southern America, African Continent, Isarel, etc all which stolen and divided and hidden in a secret bank account in Hong Kong, Australia, Sapporo, and other such economic strongholds before the war. The American learned that transactions were stored on a single mircofilm; the only means to access the vast fortune that Patriots had given 600 million dollars.

The Americans rival NSU wanted the Patriot's Legacy since 1970 since Russian Philosopher downfall. America and NSU were not only going after the Patriot's Legacy but the United Kingdom, European Unions, Eurasian, Baltic, Japan, Africa, South America and China wanted the Patriot's Legacy while Project Prometheus and Beacon unaware of the Patriot's Legacy files contained 600 million dollars by Americans. 

In May 2030, the US pushed to maintain their presence in East Asia via a garrison in Hokkaido, in northern Japan, which reduced the available space for refugees from the rest of the country. In order to prevent the United Nations from demanding they leave the country, the United States Pacific Command supported a coup by Japanese politicians opposed to taking in survivors. In the night of the 24th to 25th of May, the US military forcibly evacuated remaining United Nations staff from the Tokyo Protected Zone before their 3rd Fleet started blocking any transit through the Tsugaru Strait, abandoning the rest of the population to the Collapse radiations. In July, Raeder Rossartre.

of the United Nations Relics Agency (UNRA) warned that the Collapse catastrophe would soon reach the American continent, but he was not heard due to his suspicious trip to Russia.

By September 2030, Collapse fluid capsules that had fallen into the Pacific Ocean reached the western coast of North America. Carried by sea breeze, radiations caused the loss of coastal cities from Anchorage to San Diego, including the Cascades region of Oregon. Survivors fleeing east found no relief: private Relic Technology companies illegally recovered some of the capsules and transported them farther inland for study, but their brute-force methods to open them caused massive explosions, leveling cities such as Salt Lake City and Phoenix and causing 100 square mile radius Black Zones. Denver and Kansas were similarly lost, along with areas in Canada. Plans were drawn to manage the evacuation of refugees with help from Rossartre, but they failed due to suspicions from western state governments, rejections of survivors by Green Zone residents and greed. In December, the Pentagon eventually built the New Boundary, a 2300km long exclusion zone stretching from Port Arthur to Winnipeg, cutting North America in two and trapping many survivors west.

Shallow of Death Incident

In 2031, a rogue S T-Doll Boss Unit led by EX1, captured a secret nuclear-weapon facility on the island on February 28, 2031, Initially deployed to oversee a weapon-testing exercise, FOXHOUND took DARPA chief Nixon Watt and Co-Chief Andy Fransco hostage, along with JSDF Agent Mina Yukitara, after JSDF Special Forces unit enter the island who participate in the infiltration mission but captured.

After threatening a nuclear strike with the American-developed Metal Gear TARANTULA, the Boss Unit demanded that the US Government hand over the remains of Big Boss ( but Big Boss died in 2014) and $1 Billion within 24 hours. The Revival of Diamond Dogs had undergone advanced gene therapy, their senses and combat skills enhanced by Big Boss's "soldier genes" in secret by Boss Units. The government could not allow this information to be disclosed because the genetic enhancement of soldiers was controversial and Big Boss's DNA was a priceless military secret, dangerous in the wrong hands.

By request of Defense Secretary Willy Ackermann and CEO of G.H.O.S.T. David Hesh Walker select S T-Doll FTac Recon and Newly recruit G.H.O.S.T. operator Lucia Flores to help thwart the terrorist threat. Armed soldiers went to Snake's retreat in Island and brought him aboard the Virgina class Submarine USS Secretary in Japan Sea.  Forced to strip down to his underwear, a reluctant FTac Recon briefed by Hesh while LAB39 Henry J Morse injected him with Chiron making sure he won't go berserk as he pretends to him he inject nanomachines.

With only 19 hours until the terrorists' deadline, Hesh convinced FTac Recon of the gravity of the situation as the Secretary approaches Shallow of Death, admitting that he and Lucia was participating in the mission because, Mina the JSDF Special Agent was among the hostages. The objectives for both solo covert operation were to rescue DARPA Chief Nixon Watt and Co-Chief Andy Fransco, learn the terrorists' nuclear-launch capabilities, and prevent them from carrying out their threat. During his infiltration Snake would receive radio support from military analyst Klara Dragonov. FTac Recon and Lucia agreed on the conditions that he take orders only from Hesh directly and that Hesh disclose the full details of the mission.

Following many missioned, FTac Recon, Lucia and Alisa (who assumed to be a triple agent of CIA) fight off Metal Gear TARANTULA and the death of Camilio Flores by destroying the radome all thanks to Hinata and Otacon before his retirement. Then they escape the island, by Mina's two remaining JSDF soldiers who guarded the boat, as they make their leave, they farewell to Alisa as she alongside her surviving units hopped onto the Hind and head back home.

After the incident, the surviving members of the Boss Unit, Lienna 57, alongside unconscious EX1 with malfunction M39 EMR reported the events to the unknown leader, since he had actually been working. He revealed that he had purposefully killed the DARPA chief because he knew of EX1's true identity and motives. He reported that FTac Recon his twin brother defeated him, latter of whom injury himself. He then complimented the unknown leader on being a "well balanced Doll individual and the first council of Project Prometheus", worthy of ruling the world, as the perfect Doll: Ohm, or known as Dylan. 

Post-Shallow of Death

The U.S. Government denied any involvement in the Shadow Moses Incident and subsequently issued a cover story, which claimed that the revolt was the work of a radical right-wing group. According to this account, the incident was speedily resolved by the successful deployment of a commando unit, after rejecting the group's demands for the release of fellow members incarcerated in federal penitentiaries.

FTac Recon got a medal from President marking him as a hero of Shallow fo Death. Klara Dragonov, doing her own ndependent research on the aftermath of the incident while preparing to expose the incident with the book In the Darkness of Shallow of Death: The Unoffical Truth, the same on as Natasha's book, had discovered this and implied suspicion. In addition one of the Diamond Dog surviving Genome soldiers (Pierce "Yuzaku" Moonstone") were reassigned to US national guard, officially for more training.

Ohm was removed the presidency, alongside nearly being killed by them before EX1 intervened.

Exile UNRA from New York

Rossartre pushed back again the exclusion zone and denounced the US disaster response in his posthumous Beilan Island Incident Investigation Report in 2033, but this only led to the Congress expelling the UNRA from New York, directly causing the organization to spit into its Rossartrist and Beaconist factions.

The territory loss did not deter American interventionism: they crushed the Latin American independence movements, and the prospect of an American-Soviet treaty fell through in September 2032, causing the worldwide deployment of more military troops and the outbreak of the Second Cold War. Growing distrust against the US enabled Western Europe to expand their influence over the Atlantic Ocean until the Northern Lights Incident of 2035 cut their resources short, and the Americas refused to help mitigating their refugees crisis. A short-lived American-Soviet alliance disappeared in 2038, and movements against the New Boundary started appearing in 2041, internally weakening the country. General Dynamics participated in the rise of automated high-mobility heavy vehicles, most notably the first eight-legged all-terrain platform in 2037.

World War Three

After the European governments and the Neo-Soviet Union butted  head over the Ukrainian Civil War in 2043, Canada was absorbed into the United States and an independence movement in the Bahamas was crushed. The US were presumably one of the three permanent members of the United Nations who left over aggressive conservative actions, breaking the organization. The late American interference in the 2044 German Civil War further contributed to heightened tensions with the NSU.  During the war, mandatory conscription into national military service was reinstated.

Both the United States and the NSU suffered heavy losses during the initial nuclear launch mistakes that were the opening shot of World War Three in 2045. In 2047,  the American armies made landfall in Europe, preventing the NSU from completing their conquest of the Old Continent and establishing a long-standing front line. When the American armies made an offensive in Germany in May 2047, the NSU ordered Sangvis Ferri and I.O.P. to produce the first field-capable Tactical Dolls, which successfully crushed the American offensive on Berlin in August, however US has Stealth Tactical Dolls capable of stealth sabotage military bases and LOKI.

The American response to troops depletion was the Aurora Experimental Unit, an R&D group installed in South America in 2048 to experiment with ELID bioweapons. Aurora injected Collapse fluid into cheetahs, leopards and bears to produce ELID creatures capable of destroying armored vehicles, but they could not find a way to control these bioweapons. After failed test deployments against left-wing guerillas, the ELID Bioweapon Development Unit instead focused on searching for the cause of the enhanced abilities of ELID infected. They compared the DNA of the creatures with DNA from the Black Lily and White Rose Project, and isolated the sequences responsible for their increased strength.

Hesh, Logan, Lucia and ULF were critized on US not to make ELID bioweapons its just like from the video game Resident evil. And Aurora is Umbrella Corporations they always want to stopped the expirement bioweapons while CIA, aid FTac Recon and S T-Doll to find Ivan Makarov.

During the war, the Rossartrists believed the spark that would light the way to a better world could not be lit in North America, and made efforts to undermine American influence so it would not come out on top at the end of the war. In the closing years of WW3, the Americans suffered a massive defeat and lost the Asian front. Soviet reports from May 2049 mention their retreat from Guangxi. In March 2050, the Tactical Dolls of the Neo-Soviet Union won a major victory in the Mediterranean with Operation Tradewind. Over the next two months, NATO lost the European front, and both the military reach and domestic situation of the US were rapidly crumbling.

Jessica Alder was so frustrated and outrage on Rossartrist plans, she should had bare to do, she heard there's a Patriot's Legacy fund over 600 billion Dollars left after Patriots Defunct. He who controlled the Patriot's Legacy must regain the economy and military.

 In August 2050, the Aurora Unit was pulled back from South America as local left-wing guerillas, bolstered by the political instability in the US, launched massive attacks to retake major cities. The unit never found a way to control ELID bioweapons.  In 2051, the US Army Special Warfare Command Rangers deployed Daybreak Squad to capture Martha Meitner but the operation was a failure.  As they retreated, Paradeus called the US "a powder keg" that would soon be engulfed in a new civil war.  When the new American Civil War eventually broke out, several Aurora scientists fled to Europe, where plans were drafted to merge the Aurora unit with the German National Special Defense Technology Development Group. This was soon abandoned when the German research group was disbanded. Some experiments were saved from the ordeals, one of which was the Shrike.

A World in Anguish

World War Three eventually concluded after no country was left able to wage war. Without food import from the Americas, Europe suffered from famines. Daybreak Squad and the Rangers were disbanded at some point. An active and destructive conflict continued in Texas, probably as part of the new American Civil War, where Centaureissi and Clothe served as support Dolls before 2063.  One of the parties employed railguns.

42LAB is a firm known to have moved its headquarters from Maryland to Eastern Europe after the war. Chelsea was activated in Baltimore in 2057 and participated in 42LAB's Project Neural Cloud in 2060, along with Florence who hailed from the same city. Cascadia also worked with Chelsea in Baltimore for the Disaster Management Team after transfer from the Federal Emergency Search and Rescue Agency, and they operated during the 2057 Richmond earthquake in Virginia.  Around this time, the US were targeting the Aurora scientists and their German colleagues who had fled to South America to eliminate them, and prevent them from leaking their secrets.

New American Civil War

Rossartre's story had been made more compelling by Prometheans for their propaganda in North America, where they believed their ideology would meet great resistance. In 2053, the East Coast American Rossartrism Alliance held a demonstration in front of the Center City Hall of Philadelphia, claiming Rossartre had been killed there by those seeking to protect their private corporate and political interests rather than ensure mankind's survival.

However another faction rose, the Union Continental, led by Elizabeth Harper. This marks the battle between Union Continental and East Coast American Rosstarism Alliance and Florida Alliance. After long period war in one-year, United States of America are reborn.

Recovery

The United States, also agreed on Metal Gear X, and the economy began recovered thanks to New Fed. And now US and New Fed has the LOKI. Since US didn't have a space program since Kennedy abandoned it, the US and New Federation worked together to have a space program on the moon without relay on Europe and Asia. Because US isn't relevant to Eastern European interest and vice versa.
