Now the machine stopped and face to face four Dolls. The eclectic shock cannon was releasing That Machine with two treaded as arms, was an Amphibious AI Attack craft, The Pupa and pod was an AI controlled by old Patriot's AI GW-Pupa 5000

XM4: Let's hope someone manned that machine... *point his gun at the Pupa*

Elisa: *speaker* LOOK OUT!

FTac Recon, M4, SCAR-L and XM4 noticed that a woman from before on the controls, speaking to them, telling them about that Pupa.

Elisa: *speaker* That machine is not piloted by human! Its one of the unmanneds!

XM4/M4/SCAR-L: *shocked* Unmanned!

FTac Recon: *snarl* Guess that was unmanned! Alright guys, engage in battle!

Elisa: *speaker* Heads up!

With the first encounter for Griffin Dolls, M4 and SCAR-L and G.H.O.S.T. Doll XM4 witness to that giant machine that FTac Recon face the previous machine, now they will fight together to face that treaded machine, called Pupa.

The four Dolls engage in battle, by shooting at Pupa but the armor is thick, as Pupa drives around the area. Then Elisa heard them on the COMMS.

Elisa: *Speaker* Are you there on the speaker?

FTac Recon: We can hear you lady!

XM4: Then second, what the hell is that thing!

Elisa: *Speaker* That's an AI weapon - It's called Pupa! It's fast, and he's very agile, so be careful!

  The Pupa's turret on the back fire with machine guns at the four dolls.

FTac Recon: Scatter!

FTac Recon, XM4, M4 and SCAR-L scattered on the center of area, as they fire their assault rifles at the Pupa. The Pupa drives back at the center the AI target FTac Recon.

Pupa: [Engaging shock unit]

The Pupa fire the electic shocks, while he tries to dodge or avoid the shock, while shooting at the Pupa but the armor is too tough, then the Pupa switch to machine gun on the head, firing rounds at FTac Recon but someone dodge, XM4 throw the grenade, decimate the armor, but still too hard.

FTac Recon: Damn it!

XM4 and SCAR-L were gunfire at the Pupa on the left side, as Pupa turned to next target, fire the shock unit.

FTac Recon: *shout* M4, Aliana! Get away from the Shock unit!

Pupa fire the Shock unit and the machine gun at both SCAR-L and M4 seperated avoid the Pupa's Machine gun and shock unit while keep shooting.

SCAR-L: That machine armor is pregnable! 

M4: How are we gonna take that thing down!

Elisa: *Speaker* Aim for the cylindrical AI Pod!

FTac Recon zoom closer, notice a weakspot was a Clyndrical AI Pod.

FTac Recon: That's it! Guys aimed at the Clyndrical Pod! That's our weak spot *point at Pupa's AI Pod*

XM4: Are you sure!

FTac Recon: The woman, said we have to aim the Clyndrical Pod.

XM4: Got it!

Elisa: *Speaker* You've have to take out the Thrusters left and right first!

The Pupa drives around with thrust as the machine guns firing on both sides.

FTac Recon: Aim at the thrusters!

XM4, M4 and SCAR-L acknowledge, the four focus on firing the thrusters as Pupa circle around, until SCAR-L destroy the first one.

The Pupa made it back on the center, however, it change course to target XM4.

Pupa: [FIRING BOOSTER]

XM4: Booster!

The Pupa release its speed, at XM4, he quickly dodges from Pupa as Pupa drives through a tunnel.

Elisa: *Speaker* There'll be some warning signs when it's coming out...

XM4, M4, FTac Recon and SCAR-L carefully check three tunnels, until they turned behind see Pupa on the top.

Pupa: [COMMENCING JUMP]

Pupa jumped on the area, soon four Dolls dodge, from Pupa's landing. 

LaLALalalallaaaa

The Pupa deploy the electrical shock units around the area.

SCAR-L: What are those circular stuff?

Elisa: *Speaker* Take those lighting rods out! They direct its electroshock attack!

FTac Recon: We have avoided those Lighting rods, focus fire on Pupa!

The Pupa then continue fire the shock unit and machine gun, at the four as soon four scattered to avoid behind attack. Then again Pupa drives back in the tunnel by increase its booster, and then jumped back from top of another tunnel. The four proceed to take a shot on Clyndrical AI Pod, that Elisa mentioned dodge the machine gun on the head while moving.

The four finally damaged the Pupa's AI Pod, as the Pupa loose control by enemy fire.

XM4: It's down!

SCAR-L: Now what?

Elisa: *speaker* It's not over. Blow the hatch and climb into the AI Pod! 

XM4: *shocked* What! Are you kidding, it will either get stuck inside the pod!

Elisa: *speaker* No, you should be able to get in the AI pod by removing the files data!

M4: So it will disable the Machine?

Elisa: *speaker* Yes, it will disable and destroy Pupa, get in the hatch!

FTac Recon: *sigh* Alright, I going on!

M4: *worried* What! Recon, are you insane, you get stuck inside the pod!

FTac Recon: M4, trust me, I know you always worried, alright, I don't get shot or capture, but right now, I have shut it down.

M4: *worried* But you will get explode!

FTac Recon: *empathetic* I'll be fine, Luna.

FTac Recon opened the hatch, as XM4 and SCAR-L check the Pupa while it won't move. Then FTac Recon enter the AI Pod, as the three continue to engage the Pupa.

Meanwhile inside the Pupa

FTac Recon seen inside the Pod first time, he see some memory boards in the center and heard a song.

FTac Recon: Alright, Doc, what's should I do?

Elisa: *COMMS* Pull out all the AI's memory boards! Before the pod's ejected! The black memory boards are blocked. Go after the boards with icons over them.

Elisa: *COMMS* Any boards you remove can be used to build our own AI weapons. Memory boards have different functions according to the icons displayed over them. Go ahead take whichever ones, you want.

FTac Recon began removing the AI memory boards around sections one by one taking every AI memory boards with him.

FTac Recon: Okay that's all I have, what now?

Elisa: *COMMS* You have to wait until you eject.

Outside, M4, SCAR-L and XM4 got Bruse by Pupa's Electric shock until the pupa suddenly, explosion around the body.

XM4: He did it!

SCAR-L: H-he destroyed it!

M4: *worried* Recon...

On the mammal Pod, FTac Recon opened the hatch and escape from explosion as Pupa exploion leaving the Pod eject and flies away.

XM4: *shocked* Did that Pod eject? *breathing*

FTac Recon: The womans right, if I disable the Pupa, the AI pod eject. However... *breathing*

The four sees a wreckage of Pupa lying on the ground.

M4: Only the main body left behind.... *breathing*

FTac Recon *breathing* Indeed. 

The four heard a footstep, and the voice.

Elisa: Sorry, that was an unmanned weapon - a prototype. I made it myself.

XM4: *stern* Another one?

FTac Recon: Who are you?

The four Dolls focus on the woman who is on the wheelchair climbing down the stairs.

Elisa: I work here, well used to anyway, name's Elisa.

The camera panned down on Elisa's Wheelchair, three wheels, able to walk up and down the stairs and approached the four.

Elisa: And who might you be? You four don't look like one of those Mercs.

FTac Recon: Oh me and guys Uhh...

SCAR-L: *whisper to FTac Recon*

FTac Recon: We're just... an entomologist and Photographer.

Elisa: *confused* A fighting entomologist and Photographer.

XM4: We were specializing in butterflies and insect on yellow zone. We're uhh, here to catch a Ulysses.

M4: Y-yeah we were exactly *scratching her head on the back*

Elisa: Ulysses? Hmm I didn't think they lived in Iceland because of cold Weather. *looking on her screen* Morphos, maybe?

FTac Recon: Yeah, that's it... need to get some before anything happens...

Elisa looked at her tablet.

Elisa: I hate to say, Morphos aren't covered under any circumstance...

XM4: Oh, we're just having slipped our minds. *Chuckles nervous*

Elisa: *curious* You sure you're feeling alright?

Flashback

The four encounter a butterfly symbol on the giant machine as the flying machine carry it away.

FTac Recon: *voiceover* Long story short, the Butterfly got away.

M4: *voiceover* MMppphh, more like giant Butterfly existed.

XM4: So how about it Doc? Did you make that big "Butterfly" too?

Elisa: *adjust her glass* Yes... and no.

SCAR-L: Then... what was thing, I've never seen some giant machine and what are they doing here?

Elisa: Hmh, I hate to say you guys no ordinary Entomologist and Photographer. The Nukes were loaded on that Machine, it was revived by PMC. The project's entering it's final Phase.

FTac Recon/XM4: Project?

Elisa: Yes. The Thermonuclear warheads they brough in the bases scattered throughout Iceland, the PMC, the AI weapons, the research we were conducting here... it's all for this...

The scene change to Elisa's lab

As the screen shows a symbol of peace sign.

Elisa: We built the facility to developed unmanned weapons rather than robotic platforms and Dolls.

FTac Recon: Unmanned?

M4: We all knew about Unmanned back in Europe too.

The scene on the screen shows three robots label with AI controlled, TJ-Chrysalis 600, GW-Pupa 5000 and TR-Cocoon 7000

Elisa: Robots. The one you just fought and that Machine was a Pupa. There's also a Flying type called Chrysalis and a treaded type - the Cocoon. We revived and modified with newer technology for three machines.

Elisa: Motor control, target detection tracking, attack, capture, and transport functions are all controlled by an electronic brain we modified them. So there's no need for a human pilot the one you know about Countries building AAX Series but they need a human pilot but not AI. They can only follow simple commands though.

SCAR-L: Like the one of the Dolls Lee-Enfield disobey orders from command during the war.

Elisa: Exactly, many Dolls disobey orders from command, that's why because of feelings.

FTac Recon: So why build them here?

Elisa: It's unclear, why NSU people and CIA invited me here a year ago. 

XM4: Wait, guys remember the guy you got pushed?

Elisa: Yeah, that was the former URNC commander chief, goes by the name Ryan Annaklych. Apparently, he is the URNC commander in chief back then. He's the one running the show. He said about developed the project that could revived since the 20th Century the Peace Walker Incident, you know it right?

FTac Recon: I heard it from Lucia, she told about her grandmother who is participate in Peace Walker incident.

Elisa: Exactly, that's why Ryan secretly, revived the "Peace Walker Project".

M4/SCAR-L: *confused* Peace Walker...

And hologram shows on Iceland between America and Eurasia and Africa.

Elisa: They're going to deploy a new type of nuclear weapon along the Northern America. A mobile unmanned Nuclear Platform system.

XM4:  Unmanned nuclear platform...?

SCAR-L: System?

The scene in the map shows on Iceland with the markings of Butterflies around Iceland.

Elisa: Its an upgrade version a fail-deadly system that can automatically move into position and launch a retaliatory nuclear strike and also able to get contact from Mutli-legged and Dolls threat as well it can defend itself.

Elisa: It can move on it's own and stealth shield it from Radar and Satellite detection drastically reducing the risk of it being destroyed in a pre-emptive strike.

M4: And what about this new deterrent?

Elisa: its supposed to be. The problem is the locomotion system. There is no dry season in Iceland. It's freeze, wind and cold all year round. The terrain is full of tropical winds and fog a lot of the time you can't even build a proper road. So then... I went back to where it all started.

SCAR-L looked down on Elisa touching her leg.

SCAR-L: *concern* What's that?

Elisa: Legs. Walking power.

Next shows on the screen of four Machines label on background.

Elisa: A mobile launcher carrying a thermonuclear warhead even more powerful than the NSU Nuclear warheads and Moron. That's Peace Walker. We did the assembly and field testing here.

M4: A walking nuke...

Elisa: *adjust her glass* I sort of borrowed the origin idea from behind the man in 20th Century, its about Missing link between Infantry and Artillery.

FTac Recon: *thought* *shocked* Metal Gear...

XM4: What else those Peace Walker things do when they deployed?

Elisa: Well, they'd actually need to deploy dozens of them. Ryan needs funding for that. And to get it, he's planning a test, which will also serve as a demonstration after World War III.

FTac Recon: *concern* Wait... he's launching a nuke to prove that his deterrent works?

Elisa: His words "To prove that if someone attacks us, we will strike back."

Next shows a missile on both side as a nuclear demonstration.

Elisa: Since World War Three, in the Phase one, a nuclear first retaliation however the satellite communications had been lost in many parts of Earth and missile system became widely imprecise and easy to intercept due to guiding inference. Soviet secret nuclear submarines in particular reacted to the loss of communication and observation of saturation launches by launching their own nuclear missiles. They quickly lost control of them and failed to strike major cities but created many radiation zones. The saturation strikes during the first part of the war failed to cause major damage. 

Elisa: But the biggest flaw in the theory is that the decision to retaliate has to be made by humans beings. And as war, it did. However, the satellite lost communication and mission system widely imprecise, it failed to strike major cities but created many radiation zones across the world.

XM4: So then... the weak link in nuclear deterrence in previous war theory is the uncertainty of retaliation?

The scene on the screen shows nuclear missile and the butterfly symbol represent Peace Walker as scenario of missile strike target the butterfly symbol move and fire missiles.

Elisa: Exactly, after the War, this is why Ryan wants to revived Peace Walker Project and redesigned and modified the system to be unmanned with Peace Walker, he is American Polish, he knows about Americas involvement, retaliation is certain. It chooses the appropriate target and launches a retaliatory nuclear strike -every time without needing human input to make the call.

SCAR-L: So Peace Walker can retaliate nations nuclear.

Elisa: Exactly, launching a nuclear strike against Peace Walker is tantamount to pushing the launch button against yourself. *adjust her glass* It closes the loophole in happened in World War III, in anyone restart the war the country completely unable to launch.

The flashback back when Elisa feel from the stairs as Ryan stood and spoke to her and gave her a peace sign on his finger.

Elisa: *Voiceover* What Ryan is saying is that to achieve this goal, we need to demonstrate that retaliation will be carried out by a machine. He will launch his nuke not for URNC, but planning reignited the war. And then his version deterrence will be complete.

FTac Recon: And you believe him?

Elisa: *nod* Well yeah, I believe in peace through nuclear deterrence after the third war.

FTac Recon: Why?

Elisa: My grandfather, Nikolai Karkivo who is working on rocket boost. He put his whole life into that research... and all it created was the monster that general made him revived that monster from previous Cold War and illusion of Nuclear Deterrence if someone restart the war. And after I was born, I... unable to walk. I had no choice but to face up to the Nukes.

M4: *worried mumble* Poor Elisa.

Elisa: *sigh* But if they do end up launching just like third war, it'll all have been for nothing. They've got to be stopped.

XM4: Where'd they take the warheads?

Elisa: To the base, the final test is five days from now.

FTac Recon: So where's the base?

Elisa: *confused* You four gonna stop them? 

The scene seeing four Dolls walking with Elisa on the wheelchair

Elisa: It's kind of a hike. And besides, there's a sure-fire way to halt the project... You see Peace Walker isn't quite finished yet.

SCAR-L: What did you mean?

Elisa: It's missing one last critical structural componet: The AI. It's brain.

With a shock surprised, M4 learned from her past back in 2064, her sister explained about her previous mission as she give Lycoris final words including the brain Elisa (A/N: Don't get confused on two names one Elisa is SF and the other is Elisa Karkivo)

M4: *thought* Like the one my sister show me about her memories.

FTac Recon: *concern* Luna, are you okay?

M4: Umm nothing..

Elisa: Ever heard about Butterfly incident in 2062, the AI someone went rogue. The Only way to prevent this happen, is required, the reptile pod, the electronic brain. I was working on modification, can only follow commands like "Go there, attack that." But I guess you could compare it to the human cerebellum and Dolls aswell. But for nuclear deterrence to work, it must function in place a human decision-maker. It needs something to analyze the huge volumes of data coming in and select an appropriate target for retaliation...

Hence, it needs the high-level decision-making ability of a cerebrum.

FTac Recon: The Mechanical Cerebrum...

Elisa: The hardware configuration is modeled on the human brain, similar to the pod I worked on - but it's role is completely different.

XM4: Where is it made?

Elisa: A research lab to the East, Austurland.

FTac Recon: Dr. Ei-Ichi Yamazaki...

Elisa: Yamazaki was recruited from the URNC too. In the field of AI, there's no one better, that's for sure but, man what a basket case! He hates everybody. So make it simple, go to the lab and destroy Peace Walker's Cerebrum. But I'm pretty sure they haven't finished the final Calibrations yet.

Elisa handed her ID card to him.

Elisa: I'll lend you my ID card. It'll get you through security at the lab. Oh, and one more thing...

She also handed a letter too...

XM4: Umm what's this? A letter of recommendation?

Elisa: Well um... It's from me to Dr... Yamazaki... *blushed* Don't read it, ok?

XM4: Your blushing?

Elisa in furious punched XM4 on the wrench, making him painfully holding his nuts while SCAR-L worried.

The four then walked away from the facility by entering the elevator.

FTac Recon: So what will you do now?

Elisa: I... I'm done with science. At this rate, I'm probably already halfway to hell anyway.

XM4: Well not so faster professor, why not join us? Our base is completely outside on the ocean in Atlantic Ocean, you'd fight right in.

Elisa: Your base?

FTac Recon: Well... yeah, it fit for paradise.

Elisa: Probably better suited to something like that than this "Paradise."

FTac Recon: Good. *sarcastic joke* You get a free balloon trip for signing up. Enjoy it - you'll feel like a butterfly.

Outside the base, they walked outside the mountain, as Elisa spoke.

Elisa: You guys are agent, right? Who do you work for?

FTac Recon: Well for those two Dolls belonged to Griffin and Kryuger and us, we were tool, same as you. Now we're not so useful anymore so they cut us loose I don't answer to anyone except some friends who were close.

Elisa: So what's your name?

FTac Recon: Well, I'm Taylor, that's Ramirez, Aliana and Lucy.

M4 in Jealous punch on his arm weak.

FTac Recon: Ow, I mean... Luna.

The group looked outside the background seeing birds flying around the forest and they see on the Eastern side Austurland.

Elisa: You see that there? Beyond the cloud, rocks, forest and hill.

FTac Recon: Yeah.

Elisa; That's where you'll find Dr Yamazaki's lab.

Eventually, they deployed Fulton Recovery balloon aside with XM4 and SCAR-L, M4 and FTac Recon got picked up by Helicopter and proceed return to the base. Next the G.H.O.S.T. Operators recovered the Pupa's main body and headed back to base.

Simon: Taylor, the doctor's safe here with us. And also we done rescue Ramirez and Aliana. 

FTac Recon: Elisa, how're you feeling?

Elisa: Never better. This is quite the pad you've got here, Taylor. I'm impressed. By the way, if you're at all interested in improving your tech, by all means assign me to the RnD section. I'm pretty sure I'll be of some use. Once we have the necessary materials and blueprints, we can start work on that bipedal mech. I've heard the PMC, recovered the old wreckage of the MSF Bipedal on Caribbean.

FTac Recon: Huh, I appreciate that, but are you sure you're OK with having your work used for war?

Elisa: Well I... I'll be using it to keep past mistakes in check. If I can help thwart the Peace Walker Project, I'm happy to do it.

FTac Recon: Huh, Deterrence theory, Elisa-style, huh?

Hinata: Very clever, Taylor but luckily, Elisa, I can help you out to forget her mistakes.

Elisa; Thanks, anyway if you need any intel on the enemy's weapons or electronic brains, contact me. I've been given my own frequency.

FTac Recon: Huh, sounds good to me, Doc. I'll do that.

Elisa: Good. Whatever the means, you must put a stop to their plans!

Simon: Hey Taylor, you mind if we powwow for a sec?

FTac Recon: *groaning* What now? G.H.O.S.T-brand rations?

Simon: Actually, No! With all the men we have now, it may be time we started sending some of them to other countries.

FTac Recon: You mean dispatching units, but Hesh hasn't given orders?

Simon: How else are we gonna keep feeding the crew we have?

FTac Recon: I know... you're right.

Simon: Okay, Oh I got something words for you

Kazuya then appeared on the radio

Kazuya: So you must be Taylor, correct?

FTac Recon: Yeah, but who exactly are you?

Kazuya: Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Samuel Kazuya Miller, I'm a freelancer Mercenary. I heard about your friend Lucia and the G.H.O.S.T. sounds impressed.

Simon: Maxwell send Kazuya to join us in Olympus Base, he's gonna help Dolls and soldiers in survival.

Kazuya: Come to the base, I've got training for you.
