36 hours after Operation: Mayday

Ball's Pyramid, 672m Below Sea Level

The VTOL dropped the rope for CIF 3: Yuri, Tasha, Polina, UMP40, Squad 404, Lachmann-556, Kastov 545, and Kastov 762 who landed into the deep of Ball's Pyramid.

UMP40: *smile* It's good to fight together again, 45!

UMP45: *smile* Yeah.

UMP9 then appeared behind 45 and greets her.

UMP9: Nice to meet you, 40! I'm UMP9!

UMP40: *giggle* Likewise, little sister!

Michael: *COMMS* Odin to CIF 3, We've been fighting our way up the Cryptid food chain since Colorado and finally reached the top.

Yuri: I wonder where Archer and other US Soldiers are doing down there?

Lachmann-556: Possibly, their COMMS get jammed.

Tasha: Whatever, it lies the Colony under the Ball's pyramid, what Archer's right, Taylor and Emilia were the key to the Colony. 

Polina: But unfortunately, Emilia was nowhere to be found but only left was Taylor, he knows the location of the Colony.

Tasha: Okay guys let's go.

All: Yes madam!

The CIF 3 are ready to enter the Colony beneath the ball's pyramid, but they go there, Michael got a word.

Michael: *COMMS* You're about to go head-to-head with the Ancestors race on their hometurf.

HK416: *surprised* There's more of them?!

Michael: *COMMS* According to Archer, yes, there are more ancestors beneath the Ball's Pyramid.

UMP45: No wonder, why they are beneath our feet.

Michael: *COMMS* Simple it is, they'll be expecting an attack on the ARK. Let's not disappoint them.

Yuri: Got it, old friend.

Yuri carried a strange device, as CIF 3 walks into the cave, turned on their fashlight. The squad was surprised to see more Cryptid plant the one they witnessed in Finland.

G11: *lazy* Those plants... made me itchy on my nose

Tasha: Get a hold yourself G11.

As they exit the cave, CIF 3 was shocked seeing a wide size of Cryptid Colony

UMP40: *surprised* Wow...

UMP9: *surprised* It's kinda a same Colony like in Finland.

???: Surprise is it?

Both pointed their guns at the decloak small machine

The screen flipped seeing Henry is on video live.

UMP9: *astonished* cutie! Robot!

UMP9 tries to hug the Machine but it dodges sending UMP9 onto the ground fail to hug the robot.

Henry: *laughing* Don't mind Yuri. *to UMP9 and glares* And don't touch that little machine.

UMP45: What the hell is that?

Henry: Oh this is the Mk.iii, it's a miniature machine, it is remote mobile terminal to support you on the battlefield.

Yuri: Who give this to you?

Henry: Well... Otacon gave me this, after his retirement, so I'm gonna keep the Mk.III alive.

Yuri: I see.. its nice to see your face on the video with Mk.III

Henry chuckles, and he prepare for latest task to enter the Colony.

Henry: *fake cough* Anyway... so I will be guided you guys. The team had given to a cipher prototype.

Kastov 545: Cipher?

Henry: it's an optic scanner mounted on a modified drill chassis.

Tasha: Why did you attach to that drill?

Henry: Because you guys need to scan the glyph on those Obelisks.

Kastov 762: You mean the stone with strange language?

Henry: Yes, the Cipher use Lahiti translation software in decoded the ancestors' hieroglyphs.

Lachmann-556: So, we're going to use this Cipher to scan the Hieroglyphs in the Obelisk?

Henry: Yes, just use it to scan the inscriptions on those Obelisks, so we can get to the ARK.

UMP40: Sound good idea.

Henry: I'll roam around the area, so it could be easily to mark those Obelisks to you could scanned anywhere, to get to the ARK.

The Mk.iii cloak leaving CIF 3 to take the task to scan the Obelisk.

Lachmann-556: So, guys, ready the scan and kill?

Kastov 545 and Kastov 762: Da, Comrade!

Yuri: Alright, guys let's go scanned those Obelisk.

The CIF 3 jumped down the cliff, and land on the ground. There they find a Obelisk near the cave entrance.

Tasha, Polina, UMP40 and UMP45 get a looked at the Obelisk with ancient Hieroglyphic.

UMP40: I've never those language before *touching the stone*

Tasha: Those Hieroglyphic are pretty old... did the old people created those language?

HK416 touch the Cryptid tree, it felt the tree are not made of wood but an old tree.

Lachmann-556: Never thought those trees are exactly Cryptids.

HK416 turned to see Lachmann-556 in calm demeanor, on his eyes were pretty cute, watching her touching the Cryptid tree.

HK416: Oh hey... 556...

Lachmann-556: *Chuckles* 416, you could called me Ernst, my commander called me that name.

HK416: Oh, okay... Ernst. *blushed*

Lachmann-556 could chuckles at her who is blushing at his face, while looking at the ARK. Meanwhile Yuri prepares for the scanner mounted onto the Chassis. 

Meanwhile while Kastov 762's brother Kastov 545 having a quite chat with UMP9, and Tasha tries to wake G11 from her sleep which make her annoying. He looked at the picture of his old friend, Dima Chernov and Sergei. He could remember back then when he was built in 2030, and he joined the Russian Army, there he met Sergei and two became friends until both had melee combat training under the General Dima Chernov. He always missed his friends, and he is the last one, UMP45 noticed 762 looking at the picture of his old friend.

Yuri ready the scanner, it scanned the Hieroglyphs in Obelisk causing to alert the Cryptids army.

Yuri: Here they come guys!

The Cryptid army rises from the ground or anywhere, the scouts and Phantom began to attack the group. Kastov brothers witnessed a Variant Cryptid Rhino, it is blue just like Phantom, the Rhino smashed the ground creating the ground shake like an earthquake.

G11 and HK416 target the Scorpions who were firing the scanners, while Polina takes out a grenade.

UMP40: Flashbang!

UMP40 throws a flashbang to stunned the Cryptids UMP40 and Tasha takes out the hunters. More them were still coming as the scanner scanned the Obelisk. Lachmann-556 sees a flying Cryptid appeared to be green, his eyes wide opened realized that was a bomber, the bomber dive towards HK416 and G11, he shouted at her.

Lachmann-556: 416 Watch out!

HK416 looked left and up, seeing bomber heading right towards them, she quickly grabbed G11 and the bomber was decimated releasing some acid. After the fight, the Obelisk glows and the Encryptions was success. 

Kastov 545: What the hell happened to Obelisk?

Yuri: It seems to be glowing... was it the Cipher works?

Michael: *COMMS* It seems so, good work, when the cipher has collected enough data, it'll break the inscription on the gate controls. 

Tasha: *curious* So we have to collected any data from Obelisk...

Yuri: It will find the way to get to the ARK.

UMP40: But there's more like three Obelisk around.

Kastov 762: Well comrades, today is today not gonna die.

Kastov 545: Yeah, I agree with 762.

CIF 3 then venture the Colony of the Cryptids as they wander the area finding three out of four Obelisk as most part things to get shenaigans. UMP9 can be seen looking at the Cryptid plant, but the plant comes alive, it grabbed her causing Kastov 545 to the rescue by shooting the plant and died, as UMP9 see Kastov 545 defeated that plant that ate her, she just smiles with adorable eyes at him making red hair boy blushed.

 Next, we see Polina was trying to wake G11 put but still sleeping making Polina in stress and anger at her screaming in hallucination while Tasha and UMP40 nothing glance in disbelief at Polina trying to wake her up.

Kastov 762 and UMP45 having conversation about their adventures they did and finally Yuri is preparing for the Scanner on the second Obelisk while he prepare the automatic sentry.

Lachmann-556 and HK416 roam around the area of the Colony full of Cryptid plants, the two noticed a two corpse of US soldier lying on the ground, the two then investigate.

HK416: What happened here?

Lachmann-556 check that arm, he recognized that flag, that was Archer.

Lachmann-556: I think that was Archer's squad, they've been there before us.

HK416: So, are they dead?

Lachmann-556: *shook his head* No... I do not believe he was not killed, his arm was cut off... which means... he's alive.

HK416 check the US dead corpse, she check the plants, she got tackled by Hunter trying to grapl her head.

HK416: Ernst!!

Lachmann-556 quickly turned his head seeing HK416 got struggle by the Hunter.

HK416: *struggled* Help! I get that thing off!

Lachmann-556 quickly use his assault rifle aimed at the hunter and kills it. He quickly get her up few more Cryptids shows up. The engage the few remaining Cryptids, with more coming from the cave. Lachmann-556 switch his Assault Rifle to his crossbow with explosive dart, he aimed at the middle Cryptid, shot onto the head, decimated the Cryptids and the cave blocked, as the two struggled on the growl by the shake.

While two continues, HK416 sees a tablet.

HK416: Ernst, I found something.

Lachmann-556 goes closer to her as she plays a button hearing a voice was Archer and the screen shown.

A map of Australia appears, with an image of David Archer on the right. Below his picture is Clearance Lvl_10 classified.

Archer: The bastards were waiting for us. They knew where we'd be, and when. Barely out of the tunnel, and we walk straight into an ambush. I'd have worked this all out, if our guardian angel hadn't come to rescue when she did. There we were six hundred meters below sea level surrounded by Cryptids. And who should happem by? Emilia Lahiti. *scoffs* What are the chances? Our angel says she wants to make a deal. A guided tour of the Ark in exchange for safe passage off the islands. Some accorded happy coincidence. But angels and coincidence have another thing in common... I don't believe in either one.

Lachmann-556 and HK416 were surprised Emilia was alive, both didn't thought she was dead in Operation Mayday, this happened when Archer and his squad were ambushed when they enter the Colony.

Lachmann-556: This is were they ambushed, 416 what else they have?

HK416 looked at the tablet, she scrolled to another video log.

Michael: *COMMS* Odin to Strike One, do you copy?

Archer: What's on your mind, Schulz?

Michael: *COMMS* What have you done with Lahiti?

Archer: Nothing yet. I'm considering various options.

Michael: *COMMS* Listen to me, Archer. If Lahiti knows what the Ancestors are planning, she's more valuable to us alive than dead.

Archer: With all due respect, sir, I'm not keen to get killed over a load of bullock. I can be back on the surface in an hour with Lahiti' head in the icebox.

Michael: *COMMS* Nein, you will return Lahiti to the surface unharmed. That is an or-

Static occurs between the conversation.

Archer: Say, again, Schulz, you're breaking up.

The connection terminated

Lachmann-556 who is just enraged of that man who didn't trust them, Recon was right he cannot be trusted him.

Lachmann-556: *enraged* Can't believe Archer what her dead.

HK416: It seems Recons right... We can't trust him...

Then a gunshot heard from their COMMS, as Yuri contacts them.

Yuri: *COMMS* Ernst, 416 where are you?!

Lachmann-556: Where at the same Strike One tunnel.

Yuri: *COMMS* We're on the middle of the fight with Cryptids. *seeing Scoprions* SCORPIONS!

They heard gunfire on their comms which means they're teams are in trouble. The two rushes back to CIF 3 were they place scanner on the second Obelisk scanning.

As the two made it back, their team appeared to be fighting the Cryptids, scouts Bombers and Scorpions.

UMP9: We've got a scorpion coming! 

Scorpion fire the acid onto her, but she is so close to the Acid.

UMP9: *disgust* Eeewww!!

Kastov 545 can be seen defending the Scanner, against hunters. Kastov 762 double jump boost in the cliff, aiming at the bombers heading right towards them. Lachmann-556 and HK416 joins the fight until the Rhino shows up ramming Lachmann-556 onto the wall. After countless ears scanning the Obelisk, CIF 3 find the location at the barrier which is block then it unlocked.

Kastov 762: Is that barrier works?

Polina: Da, it's kinda think that was Obelisk which use to for barrier not let anyone get in or out.

Michael: *COMMS* Nice work CIF 3, our scan confirms the barrier is down. Move up. 

The CIF 3 walked across the tunnel as Lachmann-556 talk to Michael.

Lachmann-556: Michael about that, I saw two US soldiers right in the previous tunnels, are they the only one they entered?

Michael: *COMMS* Archer led the first assault on the ARK. He secured a sample from the brain of a living Ancestors... then went dark. The glyphs are more complex here.

The group shocked, Archer grabbed the brain from the Ancestors except for GnK.

Tasha: Yuri, what Ancestors?

Yuri: Ancestors is the master of the Cryptids, they control the Cryptids under his command.

UMP40: You mean an alien looking creature?

Michael: *COMMS* That exactly it is 40, but there's more I haven't tell you, the Ancestors were responsible of constructed the Arks, the Obelisk and other technologies such as gravimetric systems, forcefield and finally they are the one who made Cryptid Technology with the help of one specimen of GAVIRUL.

CIF 3 then another bombshell shocked, they realized it was civilization, it was the Ancestors they are the one who made the Arks, Obelisk and other technologies including Cryptid Technology.

Polina: *Shocked* So they are the one who made those technology.

Michael: *COMMS* Yes it is.

CIF 3 made it out from the cave, there are more Obelisk to go and they see the entrance to the Ark.

G11: Are there more of Obelisk?

Kastov 762: Sadly, yes, there's more to go, we've had to get to the ARK, Archer and others are inside.

Yuri: I hope he doesn't do anything stupid.

The group CIF 2 goes down the CIF and proceed on scanning Obelisk and engaging Cryptids while defending it.

15 minutes later before CIF 3

Lahiti is guiding Archer and three American soldiers to the Ark. Archer is missing his right arm from the previous events.

Emilia: We're close. There's a bridge up ahead.

Archer: Is that where your friends are waiting for us?

Emilia: I didn't know I had any friends.

Archer: Oh, but they've had you, haven't they? Since you betrayed Nightfall, and left us to die.

Emilia: We don't have time for this paska.

Archer: Your frozen friends have waited three hundred million years. They'll keep another few minutes.

Lahiti approaches Archer. Two of the soldiers hold up their weapons and aim them at Lahiti.

Emilia: I know what you want. And I give you your Medusa's head.

Archer: You read my mind.

Archer unholsters his MR6 and aims it at Lahiti.

Archer: Why should I go down their guns blazing when I can take off your head, and carve out what I need right here?

Emilia: You have no idea what's about to happen, do you?

Archer pushes his pistol under Lahiti's head.

Archer: Go on. Enlighten me.

Unawared Henry can be seen in the video of Metal Gear MK.III heard the conversations.

Henry: That's no good.
