"I think we should get her married", Laksh said.

"But don't you think it is too early  to get her married?", Payal asked.

"It may be too early but, we won't get such match again. We have to not spend a single penny for this marriage, just think", Laksh said.

"Ya you are right ,but what does that guy does?", Payal asked.

"He works in a jewelery shop and earns 30k per month", Laksh said.

"Ok and tell me everything about him?", Payal said.

"His name is Tarun and he is 30 years old. He has been married to Yashika for 2 years and she died while giving birth to there daughter 2 months back. So he is looking for a girl who can take care of his daughter and do household works as his parents have to go back to there village and he wants someone who can take care of his daughter", Laksh said.

"Ok , so who told you about this marriage proposal?", Payal asked.

"Yesterday Lekha didi called me and told me about this guy.  As everyone knows that it is too tough to get match for Diya , so she said it is best to get her married to this guy. Even I thought about this for an entire night and I came to a conclusion that it is best to get her married to Tarun if he agrees. What is your opinion?", Laksh asked.

"Go and meet him tommorow and if you like him , we can get him married to Diya", Payal said.

Laksh nodded his head and went to his shop. Unknown to all this Diya is still celebrating her success , she has got 93% in 12th board exams.

Same like last time even this time her parents didnt care about her marks , they celebrated for Harshita as she had got 75%in her 10th boards. But this time she didn't care. On the day of her result she went to a restaurant and celebrated her hardwork with her own self.

Next day
Laksh is sitting in a coffee shop waiting for Tarun. After some 10 minutes Tarun comes and stop at his table and sit opposite to Laksh.

"I think you already know that , my wife died 2 months back and I am doing this marriage just for my daughter", Tarun told to Laksh.

"Ya, I very well know that", Laksh said.

"Then may I know , why your daughter said yes to this marriage? As she is just 18 years old then why did she agreed to get married to a guy who is a widower with a baby?", Tarun asked eyeing Laksh suspiciously.

"Actually she doesn't want to study further and when we told her that we will get her married if she don't want to study  (just to threaten her ) she agreed to get married. Then we started searching matches for her and then we came to know about you. She got so emotional when she heared your story. She said she wants to marry you only and give love of a mother to your daughter", Laksh said with fake tears.

"Ok , but she doesn't want to meet me once?", Tarun asked.

"I told her that you both should meet once , but she said she wants to meet you directly on your wedding day and she also said that we should get you both married as soon as possible as she doesn't want your daughter to be away from her", Laksh said with fake smile.

Tarun then called his panditji and panditji informed him that he can marry on 2nd July that is after 15 days. Tarun told the same to Laksh and Laksh was happy hearing this ,but then showed a fake sad face.

"What happened ? Is there something wrong? ", Tarun asked.

"In just 15 days my Diya will go to your house and then she won't be my daughter. I will miss her so much. She is my princess so take care of her and please forgive her if she does some mistake" , Laksh said with fake tears.

"You don't worry ,I will take care of her", Tarun said.

"Beta ,it is just 15 days for your marriage.  How will I do all the preparations?", Laksh asked.

"No need of any preparations. We will get married in a temple with yours and mine close relatives and you just give her some clothes, I don't need anything else", Tarun said.

Lasksh is laughing mentally , as he very well knew Tarun will say this and now he has to not spend money on ugly Diya's marriage. He showed the image of being a doting father of Diya who loves her immensely in front of Tarun but reality is something else only which Tarun is not aware of.

After discussing the time and venue of the marriage both took there leave. Before leaving Tarun again asked Laksh whether Diya is marrying him by her own wish or someone is forcing her? But Laksh very smartly made him believe that Diya is very happy with this marriage but the truth was that she didn't even know about this till now.

Lasksh went home and directly went to his room. Payal who was relaxed  till now went behind him to their room.

"What happened? Did you like Tarun?", Payal asked.

"Ya he is a nice guy,  but even if he wasn't who cares? I would have still got Diya married to him so that she goes away from our home without much expenditire" Laksh said while sitting beside Payal.

"Laksh , are you sure we are doing right by getting Diya married now?", Payal asked her doubt.

"Yes Payal , we are doing right by marrying Diya. Now let's go and inform Diya that she is getting married in 15 days", Laksh said while moving towards the door.

"What?  Just 15 days? How will we make all the arrangements and do shopping in 15 days?", Payal asked.

" Chill Payal ,don't get hyper. You should only purchase 1 saree for her marriage day and get some 5  saree and some other 5 pair of clothes and give her 1 pair of earings and some 2 to 3 rings. No need to purchase new just polish them", Laksh said.

"But what if Tarun asks us that why we didn't give her anything more then? ", Payal asked.

"I have cried in front of him that I can't do all the arrangements in 15 days and can't even do so much of shopping in this less days. So he told me that I shouldn't take stress and send with Diya whatever we could arrange till that time", Laksh said.

"It means your fake tears worked  in front of him ,so that we could save money ?Also to made him believe that we love our darling daughter Diya immensely ?",Payal asked.

"Yes",Laksh said with a cunning smile.

"Wow pati dev , you have become smart being with me", Payal said with a smirk.

"Now let's go and inform that shit that her marriage got fixed", Laksh said.

Both Laksh and Payal came to the living room and called Diya from the kitchen.

"Diya , we want to talk to you about something",Payal said.

" Even I wanted to talk to you guys about something", Diya said.

"What you want to talk?", Payal asked.

"Mom , i got admission in B.S.C college, so I wanted some money to pay the fees and I even got a scholarship from college", Diya said happily.

"Mom - dad , now I am getting more closer to my dream of becoming an IAS officer and...",Diya is trying to say but is cut off by Laksh.

"We are not paying any money in any college as your fees and you are not going to any college further", Laksh said while standing in front of Diya.

"Why dad?", Diya asked confused.

"Because we have fixed your marriage , so you are not joining any college", Laksh said.

"W..h..a..t..marriage", Diya asked while looking stunned.

"Yes we fixed your alliance and you are getting married on 2nd july tha is 15 days after. So go with your mom to market and purchase few things for your marriage ", Laksh said.

"Dad,please don't joke on this. Tell me this all is lie", Diya said with tears.

"No ,it is not a joke and you are getting married on 2nd july", Laksh said.

"And one more thing, after marriage when Tarun asks you that you did this marriage by your own wish or by your parents force then you will say it was you who wanted to marry", Laksh said.

"Dad , please dad ,don't do this with me. Please, I still want to study and fulfill my dreams", Diya said crying.

"And ya Tarun has a daughter of 2 months , so you have to take care of her", Lasksh said casually.

"What? You are getting me married to a married men ? Who also has a daughter?", Diya asked shocked.

"So what is the problem in that?", Laksh asked.

"Dad ,first of all I am too young to get married and secondly how can you marry me to a guy who is married and have a daughter?", Diya asked not believing what her parents said.

"Now , I don't want to hear a single word from your mouth. You are getting married to Tarun in 15 days so get ready and dare you say that we forced you in this marriage", Laksh said while holding Diya with her hair.

Diya just nodded her head in a yes and then Laksh left her hair and went away from there.

"Mom , please make dad understand. I don't want to marry. I want to study and become an IAS officer", Diya said while crying and holding Payal's leg.

"Diya ,stop crying and do what your father has told you to do. You are getting married in 15 days ,so stop crying now", Payal said and went to her room.

Diya cried looking at her parents room. Her whole world crashed in few minutes. She has higher dreams and she did hardwork to fulfill her dreams but all went in vain.

She never thought that her parents hate her so much that they will get her married at such a younger age? She never thought they will ask her to  compromise on her dreams.

She cried for the entire day and night but it didn't have any effect on her parents. When her tears got dried she went and slept.
