IN FEW HOURS

AT MICHAEL'S POV:

It was whole seven days since I have arrived in Hallows town. I feel happy being here and happy that I will soon celebrate my 24th birthday. I can not wait to visit a beach. Weirdly, only a Wanessa knows the way there. I was waiting for her near the arranged location, and it took a bit for her to come here.

-Hello, Wanessa.-I said.

-Hi, Michael.-She said.

I noticed that she got a backpack on her shoulders. It means she also got ready to go there. I do feel excited about it. I wonder what we see there.

-How far are we from a beach?-I asked.

-It takes some time for us to get there.-She said.

I nodded and smiled. As Nino said, this place was hard to find, so everything should be pretty interesting.

-It takes us a few hours to get there since it's on edge in Hallow's town, and I do feel excited about it.-She said.

-I feel the same thing.-I said and nodded.

I watched how she grabbed my hand and walked deep into a forest. I nodded and kept following her for a few hours, and doing something like this was interesting. I noticed that everything slowly started to get darker, and I got curious about why it was happening in the first place. I got no idea why all those beaches are so much lost when they were so popular 50 years ago. I need to make sure that everything is good before we are going to spend our time here.

In a few hours, we reached the edge of one of the forests in this town. I wonder why this beach is so protected. Even more, the surprising thing is that barely any locals know about this sort of thing.

-I was curious why there were not so many people knows about those beaches?-I asked

-It might be because as time passed, others decided that these beaches were no longer useful, and it must be a reason for it.-Wanessa said.

-That does sound like a good reason.-I said.

-We are close.-She said and nodded.

I watched how she walked down, and I saw a small closed beach covered in forest. It looks so pretty and so comfortable. It makes even less sense for people not to use this place.

-So why you wanted to come here?-Wanessa asked.

-I wanted to go to the beach so we could have a picnic together.-I said.

I looked at her, and she seemed to be satisfied with this answer. I watched how she started walking toward the water, and I smiled. Everything is going how I wanted, and it feels nice. I sat down on the sand and took out some food. I saw how surprised she looked at it.

-Something is wrong?-I asked.

-I never thought you bring so much food with you.-She said.

-It does not look like a lot to me.-I said.

I saw how she smiled and now I realized how much I like seeing her smile. I am glad that she is enjoying spending time with me.

-Let's eat.-I said.

-Sure thing.-She said and nodded.

Both of us ate food and then I packed everything again. It feels nice to hang out with her like this.

-I liked this, Michael.- Vanessa said.

-I like this feeling too.-I said and nodded.

-I think we can do this more often. I would like to hang out with you.-She said.

I nodded and smiled. I was so happy to hear that. I am glad to see that she likes this.

-I was thinking of restoring this place, but I will need your help with it. -I said.

-I like that idea.-She said.

-Can we meet at the cafe tomorrow? I would like to arrange their things with you.-I said.

-Sounds like a good idea. I would like this place to be like before.-She said and nodded.

As soon as we finished talking and we seemed to be getting ready back to the town.

As I got back to my flat I felt happy. It seems that she is slowly getting to my side and I am feeling good about it. I know that she is slowly trusting me more and it makes me want to do much more, so she would like me. I know that it will take time, but I know that it will make go better. I can not wait for it.

As I finished having my shower, I heard a phone call. it was rare for someone to call me so I got quite surprised.

-Hello.-I said.

-Hello, son.-I heard my mom's voice.

-Mom?-I asked.

-It is me, sweetie. I miss you.-She said.

-I miss you too mom. How is dad?-I asked.

-He is good. Why you left so far from home?-Mom asked.

-You know why. I do like living here.-I said.

-What made you live in such a small town? I don't understand darling, with your education you could go much far.-Mom said.

-I like being here. This town was a bit tourist attraction before and I might bring it to its previous glory.-I said.

-I heard about Hallow's town. I want to visit it one day.-I heard dad's voice.

-As soon as this place be ready for it. I will inform you all.-I said.

-Sounds good, son.-Dad said.

I smiled. I want them come when I save Wanessa and I be able to introduce her.  I know she was cursed, but now I know that I can make her happy. We are same age and I want to be with her. I know that one day she will agree to be mine too.
