IN A FEW HOURS

AT MICHAEL'S POV:

As soon as I got ready, it was time to buy some flowers. It may be too early, but one rose might make Wanessa a bit more friendly with me. She is pretty afraid of me, and I can not understand why. It is like she is trying to keep a distance from me, and I want to get closer to her. If I truly got 30 days to make her fall in love or break a curse, I might have to work it out faster.
As soon as I reached a cafe, I found a small but comfortable place for us. I know some people are scared of her, but I do not feel the same way about her. So I sat down and waited for her.

In less than an hour, I saw her walking inside of the cafe. She seems to be a bit nervous, but I do not mind seeing her like that.

-Hello, Wanessa.-I said.

-Hello, Michael.-She said and sat down.

-It's for you.-I said and gave her a small red rose.

-Awh, that is so sweet of you.-She said and placed it near her.

I smiled and nodded. She likes flowers, which is good to know. I saw a waiter coming to us and handing us a menu.

-Do you know what you want?-He asked.

-I would like a caramel mochiato.-I said.

-I take caramel latte.-She said, and I nodded.

Both of us like sweet drinks. It's a nice thing to know. So, in a bit, we got our drinks, and I smiled at her softly.

-It is a pretty spot, right?-I asked.

-I do like it here, but I can tell that people are afraid of me.-She said.

-Why are you looking so worried about it? We are having a good time here, and you should not care about it.-I said.

-I think that you are right about it.-She said and nodded.

I smiled and drank some of my coffee. It was nice to be able to hang out with her, and it was so nice for me.

-Can I know more information about you? I want to know you more, and I would like to.-I said.

-I think we can talk about it.-She said.

I smiled and nodded.

-We can start with easy questions. -She said.-I am 23, for example.

-I am soon going to be 24, soon.-I said.

-I like the color red.-She said.

-I like blue color.-I said.

I nodded and smiled. It is nice to know more information. I want to know what else about her without making her scared of me. I kept looking at her, and it was nice to see Wanessa smiling.

-What do you like to do in your free time?-I asked.

-I like drawing and going for a walk sometimes.-She said, smiling.

-It sounds like a good thing to do.-I said and smiled.

-What do you like to do in your free time, Michael?-She asked.

-I like to drink hot chocolate, read a book, or watch a movie. I like pretty simple things.-I said.

I saw how she smiled, and I nodded. It was the second time she said my name, and I liked it. It sounds like she likes my company.

-I think we can hang out again if you want to, of course.-I said.

-It sounds like a nice thing to do.-She said and nodded.

-That does sound like a good thing too. I like spending time with you.-I said and smiled.

After we finished drinking coffee, I paid for our drinks, and she left. It was nice to have her contacts, and she likes my company. I want her to feel comfortable around me, and I am slowly getting closer to it.
--The next day I went to work and did some of my stuff at the office. This town is pretty amazing, but Wanessa should not let me forget the real reason why I have arrived here.

-Everything good, Michael?-Nino asked.

Nino was my assistant, and I was happy to have him around. He does know more about this place than I do, and I like him helping me.

-I was wondering what precisely made this place a famous attraction for tourists. I can see a pretty nice income about 50 years back from now.

I looked at Nino and noticed that he froze for a moment.

-We are a pretty simple town, but our forests have nice herbs, and our beaches are pretty, even tho they are hardly reachable. I think it is because most people have lost interest in them.-Nino said.

-What made that happen? I would like to visit a beach.-I said.

-I think Wanessa could do it.-Nino said.

-You really think so?-I asked.

-I think she usually spends her time there, not many locals remember, and she should.-Nino said.
-I like that idea.-I said and smiled.

I nodded and smiled. I am happy to have Nino by my side. I wouldn't have thought of asking her for help before. It's good that I have a helper like him.

On the same evening, I saw Wanessa's message. It caught me by surprise, but I do feel happy seeing it.

'Hey Michel. I remember about our meeting idea, would you like to go with me?'-Wanessa said.

'I think that is a good idea,'- I said.

'We can go to a beach'-She said.

'What time?'-I asked.

I smiled as she was thinking the same thing as I did. It feels nice.

'What about after your work tomorrow?'-She asked.

'I am free today too. So we can go today'-I said.

'It sounds like a good plan.'-She said.

'Where you want to meet?'-I asked.

'How about at the park in 3 hours'-She asked.

'Sounds like a good idea. See you soon, Wanessa'-I said.

'See you soon, Michael'-She said.

I put my phone away and smiled. If I make it work right I can turn it into a date. I can not wait for it. I am so excited. I went to buy some things before I placed them in my bag pack. It's going to be fun experience since I am sure of it.
