AFTER A FEW DAYS

AT MICHAEL'S POV:

It was one two days since I began working here. Starting here is easy, but I noticed some people are getting worried. I am unsure what is happening, so I might get some information about it.

-What is going on to make you so worried?-I asked.

-We have a person that appears only at the beginning of Autumn and disappears at the end of it.-Nino said.-It is happening for some time, and it is scary.

-She is like a most mysterious thing that is happening here.-Zoe said.

-Do you know who she is?-I asked.

-I do not. I know she acts like other people around, so we don't pay much attention. But, still, you can tell it's her by her acting differently than others.-Nino said.

-I see. I am interested in this stuff.-I said.

As soon as I said Nino started laughing.

-Of course, Michael. As much as you like it. Nobody gets close to her anyway.-Nino said and left.

It sounds interesting. Why would she be like that? I got some interesting stuff to do here. I like this town even more now. It is way better than my previous place.

I started walking down the street and noticed that if you didn't look deeper, this town looked the the same as any other town I had visited. I traveled a lot, and finding a calm place was my main goal. I smiled a bit and started walking down the street. I noticed a cafe named 'Rosalie' and decided to visit it. As soon as I stepped inside, I could tell that I liked this place. It is a small cafe that could fit no more than fifty people, but it is perfect for a town this size. It feels cozy and nice.

I found an empty table and sat down.

-Good day.- A woman with light hair said to me.

-Hello.-I said and smiled.

-You must be a new person here.-She said. - Your accent is a bit different.

- I am. I like here.-I said.

-What would you like?-She asked.

-A black coffee with cream and some of that apple pie.-I said.

-Of course.-She said and left.

I smiled and kept looking around the cafe. It is a pretty simple place, and maybe that is what I like most about it. However, I worked at their budget and soon found some easy problems this place has.

-Does that mysterious woman can appear soon?-I asked.

-She will come here soon and I think it should happen at the end of week.-A waiter said.
I smiled softly and nodded.

-Where could I find her?-I asked.

She might be the first interesting thing that happened.

-Go to the beach, and there you should find her.-A server said.

I nodded and finished my drink and files. I smiled and paid for my food before I left the cafe.

In the evening, I was able to get down the street, and she should be around here. I love my money-fixing job, and now I can use it to help people. So I started looking around, and I was able to see a girl sitting on the beach.

-She is cute.-I whispered lightly.

I smiled and watched her a bit. I had never seen such a beautiful woman with long dark hair and a figure. She might be that woman, and I should act carefully about it. I got closer and smiled softly.

-Hello.-I said softly.

-H-hi.-She said and smiled.

I looked and noticed that she got instantly scared of me. I understand her fear, and instantly understand that I must watch my actions toward her. I need to find a way to make it work out better.

-Don't be afraid. I am Mike.-I said.

-Wanessa.-She said in the most reticent tone possible.

Her voice does sound nice like this. I smiled and walked closer to her before sitting on the sand near her. I noticed her small smile, which was not a bad idea.

-I came here a few days ago, and I do love this place too.-I said.

She smiled and nodded a bit.

-I do not come here often, so I am pretty happy to hear it.-She said while smiling.

I nodded and smiled at her. She is trying to act like she just came from a holiday, but she is not going to trick me.

-I want to be friends with you. You do seem like a friendly person.-I said.

-Sure. That does sound nice.-Wanessa said.

I nodded and smiled before looking at her for a bit longer.

-Where do you live?-I asked.

-Huh? Isn't that a bit too early?-She said.

I could tell that she did not like being happy about that question.

-I'm sorry, I meant I wanted to ask you to have a coffee with you or something.-I said.

I saw how she looked at me and laughed. Since women were earlier than me so much, I have completely lost my flirting skills. It will take a while for me to get her like me.

-So would you like my phone number?-She asked.

I nodded and handed my business card.

-It would be simpler since I do work here from now on.-I said and smiled.

I saw how she nodded, and I smiled. It is a good idea to start like this. She enjoys talking to me, and moving forward a bit later is good.

I saw how she added my number and called me so that I could save her.

-Thank you. I will be going now, and I will talk to you later.-I said and got up.

-Of course, Mike.-She said in a sweet tone.

I smiled and walked off back home. I was happy that I was able to meet her in person so soon. She is a pretty nice woman, and she is really pretty. Although, I do wonder what made her get this curse in the first place. It sounds like some sort of secret and that makes me even more curious about this place.

As soon as I got home, I was pretty happy about knowing her name. Wanessa's name does suit her. I do like it. I should look for more information about her curse. I need to find a way to set free this beautiful woman.
