NEXT DAY

AT MICHAEL'S POV:

Everything is going pretty nicely. I have gotten used to my job and like spending my time like this. It was the moment when I have decided to find more information about Vanessa. She seems like an interesting woman, and I want to know more about her.

Finding this town library took me a while, but it is a nice place. I like the atmosphere here and the people. Everyone is having a good time here, and not in a hurry like in the big town library I used to visit sometimes.

-Hello. What can I do for you?- A woman asked.

I could tell that she was a worker there. I was happy that I was able to find her so fast.

-I am looking for more information about this village. It sounds like this place got an interesting history, and I want to know more.-I said.

-I could look for some books, but I'm not sure if I find a lot about it.-She said.- We do not have much information, and you are the first person who asked about it after a long time.

I nodded and smiled. Even finding some information is better than nothing.

-I found one book it's about the founders of this place. It's not exactly what you want, but it's the best thing I can offer you right now.-She said.

-Can you show me?-I asked.

-Of course.-She said and handed me that book.- Place it over there after you are done.
I nodded and took that book.

I was reading that book, and this place founders really have found this place for shelter purposes. So I do like this idea. They seem to have thought of everything before they decided to create a "Hallows" town.

-I haven't taught I would find you here.-I heard Wanessa's voice.

I turned around and saw how Vanessa was looking at me. She came here to the library, and it was nice to see her here. I am happy that she now seems to be less afraid of me.

-Can I sit here too?-She asked.

-Sure.-I said and smiled.-Of course.

I watched how she was holding the pretty old book, about one year from now, and it was published.

-I see that you like good books.- I said.

-It's a good book. I just had no time to finish it.-She said.

I nodded and smiled. She is friendly. If she is not cursed, I can tell she is pretty nice, and I start to enjoy her company. I am happy that I have met her.

-So what are you doing in your free time?- I asked.

-I like drawing, fishing, and reading. Simple stuff, honestly. -She said.-Nothing that special.

I nodded and smiled. I have found a woman who does not think that shopping is the most important thing in the world. It's a relief.

-What are you looking for?-She asked.

I can tell that she is curious about me being here.

-More about that curse. I heard people telling me pretty interesting stuff, and I want to know if it is true or not.-I said.

I saw how she looked at me, confused. I never thought she would look at me like that. Am I the first person that is interested in it? It was a weird and pleasant surprise for her.

-I heard of this curse since I am part of it.-She said with a quite serious tone.

She understood why I was so interested in it. It was good to understand it, and I was happy to see that.

-I want to know more about this curse and how you can break it.-I said.

-I do not know much myself. I only heard of it.-She said.

I looked at her, confused. Just a moment ago, she said a distinct thing.

-But you said-.- I started and got interrupted.

-I was joking, don't pay so much attention to it.-She said, and I nodded.

She might be right about it. But, even tho I am still worried about her. It's like she is not allowed to tell about it.

-You seem to be like a nice woman. Would you like lunch at the cafe with me?-I asked.

-It sounds like a nice idea.-She said, and I smiled.

I wonder if she likes coffee, but I can worry about it later. I need to make sure that she goes with me first.

-What time?-She asked.- I have some things to do in the morning.

-Two pm. I like small cafes near the beach.-I said.

She would agree to it since she was smiling. I don't know much about her, and I could use this to win her. But it is now, or never, so I was not going to waste my time.

-Sounds good.-She said and nodded.

I watched how she left, and I smiled. I haven't got a lot of information, but the first person who saw it was after a heartbroken breakup. It was a witch, even though I do not believe in it. It might be a curse or just a weird thing, but Wanessa seems interesting, and I will try to save her. People haw told me that she came only in Autumn and only for 30 days, so I must be fast about my choices. It will not be easy, but I will give my best shot.

It was time to go home and get ready for my date. I can use this to get more information about her. I need to use every chance I get. I might be able to save her.

-I will find a way to save you, Wanessa.-I muttered before leaving home.
