(Three weeks later)

The Undead Kickers were settling in the apartment quite well. Rina was able to make the balcony safe with some barbed wire she took from one of the nearby department stores. She also used some other items from there to insure that zombies couldn't get up to the balcony.

While Jack did protest to this a bit as she needed his help, Rina went over all the zombie movies she saw when people who lived in apartments and didn't do this narrowly got killed. After that Jack shut up about this as he didn't want to antagonize Rina and felt like she did know what's best for this situation.

"Wow Rina you've seen more movies then me and Jack have. I gotta say I'm both impressed and jealous, how were you able to collect so much zombie stuff?" Chris asked.

"I'm just a collector for what I like, I was into zombies when I first heard about them when I was four years old." Rina explained.

"Wow really? I didn't get into them till I was thirteen. How did you even find out about them?" Jack asked.

"Well I once overheard Reg and my parents talking about something and I heard the word zombie. I asked them what a zombie was but they didn't tell me, like they didn't want me to know about them. However thankfully I had access to the internet as I was a very clever little girl and I googled zombies. After some research I instantly fell in love with the genre, I felt some sort of connection to the zombies whenever I saw them on the screen." Rina explained.

"Huh? Strange, I wonder why your folks didn't tell you about zombies when you asked about them the first time?" Jack asked.

"I don't know if they did a lot of strange things when I was a kid. Like I remember going to a public preschool, and kindergarten for a while but after that my parents moved me to homeschool. They also started putting me on medication for my disease but never said what I had." Rina explained.

"Strange, wonder if they were hiding something?" Chris asked.

"Possibly, but let's not focus on that right now, if we end up finding them then we'll ask questions." Jack said.

"We're going to find them, we just gotta find them. I'm not going to believe they're dead till I actually see them dead." Rina explained not wanting to believe that her parents were possibly gone.

The twins looked at each other before looking back at Rina, they sighed as they also didn't want to think that their mom was dead even if her chances of survival were high due to her inability to walk.

Rina sighed once again before getting up and saying "I'm going to go inside and check in with Janet on our food supplies."

She then went inside the apartment and looked around the place and saw everyone sitting around doing their own thing. She saw Lucy sitting with a fairy tale book (that they manage to find in Rina's wrecked home) reading it aloud to Boy who was sitting next to her intrigued by the story.

She saw Lee organizing their weapons and ammo out on the floor right behind the two young kids. She also saw Albert trying to teach his siblings how to read and write, admittedly his writing and reading wasn't masterly level but it was good enough for them. However Rina couldn't find Janet or Ron in the main area of the room they were staying in.

"Hey, does anyone know where Janet and Ron are?" Rina asked.

"Janet's in one of the rooms resting as she got done with her job of calculating our food supplies. As for Ron I got no clue on where he went." Lee explained.

"Okay thanks for letting me know, I'm going to cheek up on her." Rina said as she went into the room where Janet was.

When she got there she saw Janet sitting on the bed with a notebook in her hands writing notes in it.

"Hey Janet how's our food supplies Looking?" Rina asked.

"Not good, there's only enough left for five of us in the group." Janet explained.

"So we'll need to go out to get more food, alright I'll go look for Ron and me, him, and the twins will go out on a supply run to the local food stores." Rina started forming out her plan to get more food.

"Okay and if you're looking for Ron he said he was going to find a working TV as the one in here is busted. He told me that he found a security room on the first floor so he's possibly there." Janet explained.

When Rina heard that she sighed in annoyance as she told everyone that if they were going to leave the apartment to inform her, and go with someone, not go alone.

"Ugh I'll go down there with the twins and find him, we'll let him know about the supply run and give him some weapons he'll need." Rina explained as she got up and stretched.

"Janet your incharge till I get back, I trust you most with the group, and keep Lucy safe. Her fathers last words were asking me to take care of her and I'm taking that to the grave." Rina explained as she remembered Reg's last words before he zombified and she killed him.

"Don't worry I'll hold down the fort till you all get back, and Rina please be safe out there, you're a great friend and leader, I don't know what we'd do without you." Janet explained not wanting Rina to get killed.

Rina sighed before putting her hand on Janet's shoulder in reassurance. Janet looked at Rina and saw the Reassuring look on her face.

"Don't worry Janet the only way I intend to die is peacefully in my sleep from old age." Rina explained.

Janet smiled before hugging Rina tightly, Rina was taken aback but smiled and hugged Janet right back. After a bit the two separated and Janet laid down and decided to get some rest. Rina smiled and covered Janet with the blanket before leaving the room. She went back into the main area and went up to Lee to get the weapons they'll need.

"Hey Lee I need some weapons, me, Ron, and the twins are going on a supply run as we need more food." Rina explained.

"Ah okay, take whatever you'll think you all are going to need on the trip." Lee said, offering up all the guns and knives in front of him.

Rina smiled and grabbed a shotgun, an assault rifle, three hand guns, and two knives. She decided to pack a little lighter than usual as they weren't going to be too long.

"Hey Jack Chris we're going on a supply run with Ron to get more food so pack up some gear!" Rina called out to her friends.

"Okay coming R!" Jack called out before running out into the main area with his brother in two.

The two boys then got two handguns and pistols, along with the baseball bats they had taken from a sports store.

"Okay I'll bring some guns and knives for Ron and we'll be on our way." Rina explained.

The twins nodded before following Rina out of the apartment and down to the first floor.

(Meanwhile with Ron)

Ron was in the security room getting a VHS player working, as he found something he wanted to take a look at. Back at Rina's house he found a VHS tape in the wreckage.

It was labeled "It has the answers Rina" and out of curiosity Ron decided to look at it first before he showed it to everyone else.

He soon got the VHS player working and put the tape in and started playing the tape. He sat in front of the TV and began watching the tape to see what was on it and why it had that label on it. The tape started and Ron saw a woman who looked a bit like Rina and a man next to her with green eyes like Rina's green eye.

"Rina if you're watching this then that means something happened at the lab me and your father works at and we couldn't come home. Me and your father made this in order for you to get answers to many questions we know you might have." The woman explained.

Then a man walked on screen and said "However if whoever's watching this isn't Rina, then I'll introduce the two of us and show you a photo of our daughter so if you run into her you can give this to her. I'm Leo, and this is my wife Rosetta or Rose for short, and this is what our daughter looks like."

Leo then held up a photo of Rina up to the camera.

"Now Rina if you are watching this we have a lot to explain to you, and it all begins before you were born, and when Mr. Z was experimenting with a strain of a virus he calls the eight virus." Leo explained with a serious look on his face.

(Later when Rina and the twins come down stairs)

Rina and the twins arrived at the first floor and were making their way to the security room. However on their way there they saw Ron walking up to them with a disturbed look on his face.

When Rina saw the look on Ron's face she became concerned for him and decided to see what was wrong.

"Hey Ron you alright?" Rina asked as she put her hand on his shoulder getting his attention.

Ron looked up and saw Rina giving him a concerned look, however the look on his face was that of fear before he lightly pushed Rina's hand off of him.

"I-I'm fine j-just found someone who um... committed suicide." Ron lied as what he saw on the tape shocked him.

"What another one?! Ugh I'll take care of the body." Rina said and was about to go into the security room, but was stopped by Ron.

"No need I already took care of it, I'm just going to go back up the stairs and lay down as I'm not doing so well after seeing that." Ron explained.

"Oh... alright I can understand finding something like that can be disturbing both emotionally and physically after finding something like that." Rina explained, understanding how Ron felt.

"T-Thanks Rina, by the way where are you and the twins going?" Ron asked, noticing their survival gear.

"Well we're running low on food so we're going out to get some more." Rina explained.

"Ah okay, well good luck, and please don't get killed out there, it's really dangerous out there. Especially with those mutated zombies." Ron explained concerned for his friends.

"Thanks Ron, and don't worry I don't intend to die like this!" Rina declared with confidence.

"Yeah Nor do I! No mother fucking zombie's going to eat my face, not even if their a fucking mutant!" Jack exclaimed with confidence while waving his gun around.

"Wow! Jack, be careful with that?! We don't need you to fire that death weapon by accident and attract unwanted attention to us!" Chris exclaimed, concerned for their safety.

"Oh sorry bro, sorry guys I'll be more careful with my guns." Jack explained feeling embarrassed by his actions.

"Well let's get going, and Ron, get well soon." Rina said hoping Ron will get well soon.

"T-thanks Rina and I will get well." Ron said before he left and went back up to the apartment they were staying in.

"Okay well how are we going to get to the store to get more food?" Jack asked.

"Well I managed to find a working motorcycle that has a basket attached to it, it's also big enough for the three of us so let's take that!" Rina exclaimed.

"Oh hell yeah! I've never rode on a motorcycle before! Let's FUCKING DO THIS!" Jack screamed in excitement as he ran outside.

Rina and Chris followed Jack outside as they were worried he could hurt himself if he wasn't careful out there. When they got outside the three saw the motorcycle Rina was talking about and it looked awesome! It had enough room for three people and had two baskets on the sides.

"Wow Rina where did you find this baby?" Jack asked.

"Well it didn't have the baskets when I found it. That was an adjustment I made to it so it could carry some items for when we go on supply runs." Rina explained.

"Ohh cool, but what about your electric car? Won't it be quieter than the motorcycle?" Chris asked.

"Well yes but we need to conserve its energy incase we need to abandon this place and make a hasty exit." Rina explained.

"Ah yeah I don't think that we'll find any recharge stations for the electric when it runs out of power so I guess It is good to conserve the power in it for now." Chirs said.

"Well I don't care! I've always wanted to ride a motorcycle!" Jack said excitedly as he got on.

"Hehe it's good to see my brother happy, ladies first." Chris said as he offered the driver's seat to Rina.

"Oh why thank you, you're such a gentleman Chris." Rina said as she got on the driver's seat.

"Aww don't mention it, after all mom taught me and Jack that chivalry is never dead." Chris explained.

"But that we also shouldn't go overboard with it as it could get annoying." Jack explained further.

"Yeah well let's get going and get more food before we become dinner." Rina said as she started up the motorcycle and rode off to a local store that had more food.

Unknown to them Seven was watching them from above and smiled under the clothes that he had wrapped around his face.

"About time! I was almost considering taking the risk of destroying this place! Then again if I did I'd risk killing Eight and I want her alive... for now." Seven said as he started running and jumping over the roofs of the buildings.

"Now I just gotta get her away from those doppelgangers, but how is the question?" Seven asked himself.

(Later on)

The three soon arrived at a local store and parked the motorcycle close to the entrance so they wouldn't have to walk that much after getting the food they needed for their group.

"Alright let's get looting and grab as much food as we can carry!" Rina exclaimed.

"Yeah let's get going, I'm starving!" Jack exclaimed.

The three went inside and started collecting the food they'll need. Seven meanwhile stood on a high roof looking down at the three who just went into the store. He smiled as he watched them go inside as he had a plan on how to separate them. He looked over to a zombie that was just mindlessly wandering the parking lot, he smiled as he held out his hand and a tentacle came out of it.

"Hehe well little sis lets see how you'll face up against another one of my mutant zombies." Seven said as he jumped down and planned on injecting a mutated strain of his virus into the zombie.

Meanwhile Rina and the twins were being as cautious as they could be while looking around and collecting as much food as they could carry. Rina was taking some extra steps and used a banjo that was on display to lure out any zombies by playing it.

"Um R you sure that's going to lure out anything?" Jack asked, doubting that it would work.

"I've seen it happen on Zombieland so it's possible it could work." Rina explained.

"Well anything that could allow us to not get jumped by any unknown zombies in here." Chris explained.

"Alright, if any do come out I'll bash their ugly ass face in!" Jack exclaimed as he got his baseball bat ready to swing.

Sure enough some zombies started coming out of different aisle and made their way to the three.

"Knew that it would work, now boys let's take out the garbage!" Rina exclaimed as she tossed the banjo aside and got out her guns.

Jack and Chris smiled as they got out their bats and got ready to start swinging.

"Let's kill all the sons of Bitches!" Jack exclaimed and the three charged in. Rina used the barrel of her gun to bash in a few Zombies.

While Jack and Chris were using their bats to break the zombies' skulls open like eggs.

"Wow! YEAH! I FEEL SO ALIVE!" Jack screamed in joy as the adrenaline rushed through his veins.

"JACK LETS FOCUS ON KILLING THE UNDEAD BEFORE WE START FEELING ALIVE!" Chris screamed before bashing another zombie's skull in.

"Sorry if the adrenaline rush is getting to my head!" Jack exclaimed as he bashed in another zombie's head.

After about a minute all the zombies were on the ground with their heads all based in.

"Oh Ho! That felt good! I've never had adrenaline like this in my life!" Jack exclaimed as his adrenaline went through the roof.

"Yeah well let's hope that once this is over, you find another way to get an adrenaline rush." Rina started with a serious tone.

"Yeah bro I kinda never want to experience this again when this comes to an end and we survive." Chris explained.

"I know guys but come on try to find pros to the situation instead of the cons which I am well aware of. First pro, no more rules! Second pro everything in here is free! And Third Pro, YOU CAN PLAY AS MANY VIDEO GAMES AS YOU WANT!" Jack exclaimed.

"Um that last one is kinda impossible as most of the power to the city is out now." Rina stated.

"But My point still stands." Jack argued.

"Yeah sure, let's get together now guys, we need as much food as we can carry, especially for Janet." Rina explained.

"Yeah, I'm kinda surprised that she was pregnant." Chris said.

"Yeah and what perfect timing to! Why the hell did Lee have to get Janet pregnant right before the zombie outbreak?" Jack asked, a little annoyed with the situation.

"Hey it wasn't his fault! Noone knew this was going to happen!" Chris exclaimed.

"I never said it was his fault, I'm just stating the bad timing." Jack explained.

"Alright boys, let's get to it now! Not tomorrow!" Rina stated sternly.

Jack and Chris both straightened up upon hearing Rina's serious tone and then got to work getting more food for the group. While they were collecting food Rina started to feel sick and dizzy and the room started spinning.

"Ugh my head feels like it's going to explode." Rina groaned in pain as she held her head.

"Hey R, you good?" Jack asked.

"Ugh Y-Yeah I'm fine I-I'm just feeling a little dizzy." Rina said as she held her head in her hands.

Rina then began to feel nauseous so she shot up from where she was and ran to the closest bathroom.

"Wowow! What's going on! Is Rina okay!?" Chris asked his friend.

"I-I don't know! Let's go and see!" Jack exclaimed in a panic.

Rina ran up to the closest bathroom but when she tried to open the door she saw a sign that said "out of Order". Rina's eyes widened as she felt something starting to come up her throat, not wanting to get sick on the ground Rina punched the door with all her might.

The door itself then went flying across the room crumbling like a poorly made gingerbread.

Rina then ran into the bathroom having no time to question what just happened and hunched over the sink before throwing up right into it. Jack and Chris meanwhile stood in shock as they saw Rina punch through the door as if it was nothing.

"W-What the fuck!" Jack muttered under his breath, surprised.

"I didn't know Rina was That strong." Chris said equally as surprised.

The two then snapped out of the shock when they heard Rina puke. The two then went into the bathroom and were shocked at what they saw Rina throwing up. Rina was puking up some strange black goo that was mixed in with blood, and when they saw this the two were incredibly concerned.

Their mother was a doctor before she lost her ability to walk and she had told them many things about the human body and medical related stuff that they should look out for. While the two of them were more interested in sports their mother taught them so they could help themselves or others in any medical situation. So they knew that something was seriously wrong with Rina if she was coughing up blood and some black goo.

"Um Bro did mom say anything about someone puking up blood? You know I have a short attention span." Jack said.

"I-I don't remember her ever saying something about black gunk!" Chris exclaimed, concerned.

"Ugh *Cough Cough* Ugh'' Rina groaned as she coughed up more blood and black goo.

Rina soon stopped throwing up and she looked up in the mirror and saw that on the side of her face where her red eye was, had red Veins bulging out of her face. Foam was also starting to come out of her mouth and she started growling like an animal.

Jack cautiously went up to Rina and lightly taped her with the end of his bat, as he felt a little scared to touch her. Rina then wiped around and grabbed the bat that Jack used to touch her and gave him a dead stare. Jack felt his body freeze up as Rina looked at him and he saw the red veins on her face and the foam coming out of her mouth.

"Wha! What the fuck?!" Jack exclaimed and backed away while still holding his bat.

Rina then coughed again and the veins on her face went away and the foam stopped coming out of her mouth.

"Um R, you good?" Jack asked while backing away cautiously.

"I-I think so." Rina said.

"Um how do you feel?" Chris asked.

"I-I feel fine in fact I kinda feel better then I did before!" Rina exclaimed.

"But how you were coughing up blood and black goo just a minute ago, how could you feel fine and better than ever?" Chris asked.

"I-I don't know... we should wrap things up here and get back ASAP. After that I'm hoping someone can try to figure out what the hell just happened to me." Rina explained.

"Well our mom taught us a lot of medical procedures as she was a doctor before becoming wheelchair bound. I can't remember all of them but I think with Chris's help we can try to find out what happened." Jack explained.

"Yeah I remember a lot of the procedures that mom taught us so I can do my best to help!" Chris exclaimed, wanting to help his friend out.

"Thanks guys I appreciate your offer, now let's wrap this up quick before more uglies show up!" Rina exclaimed.

The twins nodded before leaving the bathroom with Rina in their sight in case she had another episode like that. They all quickly finished putting more food into bags and after they got enough food that would last them a good while the three left the shop.

They walked up to the motorcycle and put the food in the baskets. Once they were done with that, Chris offered to drive the motorcycle as he was worried Rina would go into another episode while she was driving. Rina hesitantly agreed as she wondered if Chris could actually drive a motorcycle.

"Are you sure you can drive this thing?" Rina asked hesitantly.

"It can't be that different from a car right?" Chris asked.

"Oh trust me, it's very different from a car." Rina stated.

"Um... guys LOOK!!" Jack screamed as he pointed to something with fear written on his face.

The two looked over and saw a hulking zombified figure charging right at them.

"Rina Shot or run?" Jack asked as the figure got closer to them.

Rina couldn't answer as she just looked at the figure as it got closer.

"RINA! SHOT OR RUN?!" Jack screamed, getting Rina's attention.

"BOTH!" Rina screamed as she and Jack got on the Motorcycle and got their guns out.

Chris meanwhile got into the driver's seat and started driving away from the thing. All Chris heard was the guns firing as Rina and Jack shot at the newly mutated zombie as it chased after them. However no matter how hard Rina and Jack shot at the mutated Zombie it wouldn't budge.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING?!" Rina asked while screaming.

"I THINK I'LL CALL IT HULKER! CAUSE IT'S LIKE HULK BUT ON CRACK!" Jack screamed as he rapidly fired at the zombie.

Rina and Chris both looked at Jack as if he was mad and he looked back at the two confused by the looks they had.

"What that thing looks like Hulk on crack... bro just keep driving and Rina keeps shooting till it's dead." Jack said as he rolled his eyes and went back to shooting.

Rina and Chris didn't say anything and just went back to what they were doing, however the three didn't notice that Seven was running on the roofs waiting for the perfect moment to snatch Rina. After a while when the three got a good distance from his new mutant zombie type he raised his hand and a tentacle and launched it right at Rina.

The tentacle wrapped around Rina's neck and in one swift motion Seven pulled Rina off the Motorcycle, cut the weirs to a nearby power poll, and threw an open gasoline barrel to where the wires fell. Rina fell a good distance away from the twins who tried to go back for her the moment she was pulled off.

However the live weirs and power pull was thrown in front of them and when the sparks from the weirs hit the gasoline when it spilled it exploded. The twins and Rina were all thrown back by the explosion which blocked their way from getting to each other.

"RINA! RINA! ARE YOU ALRIGHT! JUST HOLOR OR GROAN IF YOU CAN HEAR ME!" Jack called out to Rina hoping he'd get a response.

"Ugh Yes I'm fine. Aside from the slight burns I got and almost getting my neck snapped by whatever that was, I'm fine!" Rina hollered out.

"You're not too badly hurt are you! If your burns Look bad, get some ointment. I have some if you need it. Just say the word and I'll toss it over to you!" Chris called out.

"I don't think I need it but you two get back to our hideout and deliver the food!" Rina called out.

"WAIT WHAT! WHAT ABOUT YOU!" Jack screamed. "I CAN'T GET AROUND THIS THE FIERS TOO BIG! I'LL FIND ANOTHER WAY BACK BUT YOU TWO HAVE A WAY BACK SO GET MOVING!" Rina demanded.

The two looked at each other for a moment hesitant to leave their friend and leader behind. However they were snapped out of their thoughts when they heard mutable zombies roar and when they looked down an alleyway they saw a huge horde of zombies sprinting right at them.

"Oh Shit! Come on Bro we gotta move!" Chris exclaimed as he grabbed Jack by the arm and dragged him to the motorcycle.

"Okay! RINA PLEASE BE ALRIGHT! WE'LL MEET YOU BACKUP AT THE HIDEOUT! JUST BE CAREFUL!" Jack screamed as he and his brother got back on the motorcycle and drove off as the horde chased after them.

"Don't worry boys, I plan on getting back as soon as I can!" Rina exclaimed as she turned around and saw the mutated zombie standing just about 30 meters away from her.

Rina pulled out her shotgun and pumped it ready to fight till the end. However Seven then jumped down from the roof of the building he was on and looked right at Rina. Rina's eyes widened when she saw him, the shock then turned to anger as she remembered he was the one who destroyed her house.

"Why hello there little sis, you like my new mutated zombie?" Seven asked.

"W-What the hell are you talking about?! And Little Sis! I'm not your sister! As far as I'm aware I'm an only child so why the hell are you calling me sister!" Rina demanded to know.

"Oh you'll find out soon enough, but for now I want to see how your virus will affect you and if I really do want it or not." Seven started as he got ready to fight.

Rina held up her gun, looked at Seven sternly and said "I might not know what the hell you're talking about, but I'm not going to die without a fight!"

Rina then aimed her gun as Seven smirked as he also got ready to fight, the two stood there as the zombie hoards growled and roared and Rina got ready for the fight of her life.
