(Meanwhile with The Undead Kickers)

Jack was looking through the destroyed city with a pair of binoculars he had taken from the store he, Chris, and Rina went to. He looked around for any sign of Rina but had no luck spotting her, all he saw were more of the undead shambling around the place.

"Ugh! No sign of her! It's been hours! She'd said she'd be here, but when is the question!?" Jack asked as he worried about his friend.

"Hey Jack, are you alright?" Beth asked as she came onto the balcony with Jack.

"I don't know, I'm trying to look for Rina but I can't spot her!" Jack explained.

"Strange, you think she's alright?" Beth asked.

"I don't know if we live in a big city and there's a lot of people living here. From what I know when it comes to Zombie outbreaks with the games, shows and Movies I've played that ain't good." Jack explained.

"Hmm, well I know she'll be fine after all she's a tough girl so I know she'll be fine!" Beth explained as she walked up to Jack and gave him a hug.

"Hehe thanks Beth, but that doesn't mean she can take on a whole herd of zombies. I know she's smart enough to not fight them when she's clearly outnumbered but that won't be helpful if she's cornered." Jack explained.

"Yeah I know but she's not going to allow herself to die, from what I saw she's a fighter and very resourceful so she'll make it." Beth explained as she looked out onto what was left of San Francisco.

"Well I am grateful that she had us build defenses and ways out when we arrived, not to mention the Rain catcher as that'll help us out the most when the water stops running. If only we could get the goddamn TV on we can see the news and see how this whole epidemic is going." Jack explained, frustrated about the broken TV.

Beth just looked at him for another moment before she left the balcony leaving Jack to continue watching for Rina. She went back inside and saw Little Lucy was clutching onto her teddy bear tightly. Her face had worry written all over it and was rocking back and forth lightly as she held her bear. While Beth didn't understand many things and was often oblivious to many things but she knew something. She knew Lucy was worried sick about Rina, as she did see the two were very close with one another.

"Hey Lucy you alright?" Beth asked.

"No, I'm worried about Rina, I don't know if she's alive or not. I know she's tough but that doesn't change that she's out there all alone." Lucy explained.

"Hey don't worry I know she'll make it, hey why don't you read some of those fairytales you have? Will that cheer you up?" Beth suggested.

"That's a good idea, but I've already read them dozens of times, I want something else, but all we got are Rina's zombie novels and I don't want to read them." Lucy explained.

"Oh okay, well why don't you go find something to do, I'm sure there's something up here you can do to take your mind off of things." Beth said.

"Thanks Beth, you know you said that you're oblivious and forgetful because of your autism, but how are you able to suggest things I could do to feel better?" Lucy asked.

"I don't know, I might not be the best with communication or signals letting me know when someone isn't interested in what I'm saying, but that doesn't mean I have good ideas for others to feel better." Beth explained.

Lucy smiled at Beth, she then got up and got up to wander around and hopefully find something to do. Beth smiled and walked to the other bedroom where her virus siblings were. When she entered the room, her brother Michael, and Albert were on the bed, Luna was sitting on the floor with Boy in her lap, and Darcy was leaning against the wall.

"Hey guys what's up?" Beth asked.

"Nothing much, just that Ron watched a tape Rina's parents had made, so now he knows everything." Michael explained.

"Everything like what?" Beth asked.

"He knows what we are, what happened to us, what Rina is, what Mr. Z had done to her. That kind of everything Beth." Albert explained.

"Ah okay, so why doesn't he show it to everyone else?" Beth asked.

"Well that's a lot of information to digest Beth. Also they might freak out, as it's not normal for them, as they got to live normal lives." Luna explained.

"Yeah that's why if we need to inform them about this, we have to do it gently to prevent as little panic as possible." Darcy explained.

"Okay but how can we do that?" Boy asked.

"That we're still trying to figure out Boy, but don't worry little bro we'll think of something." Luna said, reassuring her little brother.

Boy smiled and leaned into his sister's chest and rested his head on her, as she patted his head.

(Meanwhile with the parents)

The parents were sneaking through the destroyed city making their way to the location Albert said he'd meet them at. However as they were moving Carter noticed something strange about where they were going.

"Hey Leo, I don't know if you know this but... this ain't the way to central park." Carter explained.

"I know, and that's not where we're going." Leo explained.

"Wait what?! But that friend of yours said we'd meet at Central Park at 11:00 Pm right?!" Mandy asked.

"He did but the time is the only thing that's right, the location however was a code name we made up. We'd agreed to meet up there in times of crisis, such crisis being this one as I had a feeling something like this would happen if Mr. Z keeps on experimenting with the viruses he made." Leo explained.

"What really?" Cassey asked.

"Yes really, Mr. Z had lost his mind when he made this virus, he even experimented on my daughter before she was even born." Leo explained sadly as he looked at Rose who also looked sad.

"Wait what happened? What'd he do?" James asked.

"That's a story for later, not when we're out in the open like this." Leo explained.

James frowned at that answer but didn't push to ask any more, instead he just focused on following Leo and keeping an eye out for any zombies. As they were walking Carter looked at Mandy who had an anxious look written all over her face.

"Hey Mandy, are you good?" Carter asked.

"Yeah, I'm just worried about my family, and not just my sons but my brother as well." Mandy explained.

"Really? Well I'm sure he's alright, you did say he's not a social person so he had to have been somewhere isolated when this all went down." Carter explained.

"I know but he still could've left his comfort's zone just to find me and my sons as he cares more about his family than his own health." Mandy explained.

"And he'll fight, from what you said it sounds like the only reason he'll take a break is to die and even that he won't do that till he knows he's gonna die." Carter explained.

"Yeah Mandy don't worry we'll find your family, and we'll all find our kids." Cassey explained.

Mandy smiled at that and felt a little better, but still felt very worried about her family as her sons and brother were the only family she had left.

(Meanwhile with Rina and Albert)

The two were in Alberts old military truck that could hold four people in the front and about a dozen in the back. Albert rigged the old boy out to be zombie proof when the whole outbreak happened. The front had a plow with spikes on it, barbed weirs on the top, a metal cover on the back to protect the passengers in the back, and some sharp items on the sides to cut through zombies who try to get onto the truck.

"You really went all out on this truck Albert." Rina stated in aw.

"Yeah I did, after all when you serve in the military you gain lots of useful skills, one of them being paranoid of the unknown." Albert explained.

Rina then looked at him again and that's when she finally noticed that half of his face was burned badly. When she saw that she got worried about him and wondered if he was both physically and mentally alright.

"Hey are you okay?" Rina asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, why you ask kid?" Albert asked.

"I just saw the burns on your face and I was worried if you were alright." Rina explained.

"Oh yeah I'm fine, this happened years ago when I went on my last mission in the military, it was also your dads last mission before we both retired." Albert explained.

"Really? What happened on that mission?" Rina asked curious to know what happened.

"Well your dad and I were flying into enemy territory in a helicopter. I was flying above the area getting ready for a fight and to keep the old boy up in the air, when we were shot down. I don't remember what shot us but we ended up crashing. Two of our men died while me and Leo walked away with a few injuries. Half of my face was badly burned and I had about three broken ribs, while your dad had a severely broken leg and burns on half of his chest. That's why your old man walks with a limp, that was a long lasting side effect that he got out of that. For me I have to wear a rip plate for the rest of my life and half of my face is forever scarred." Albert explained.

After Albert finished explaining what happened Rina understood more about the incident her dad mentioned being the reason for his limp. She also felt bad for him as she had a feeling that people had treated him poorly due to the scars on his face. So she decided not to ask any further questions and just focus on what was ahead of them and anything out there.

As they Drove Rina saw a figure come into view as the car got closer, when they got close enough she saw that it was a man. Albert saw him and abruptly stopped the truck as he was closing in on the man fast and he didn't want to hit another human.

"Kid Stay in the car. I'm going to go out and confront that guy." Albert explained as he unbuckled his seatbelt and got his gun out.

"Alright but I'm gonna try and help if things go south." Rina stated.

"No, you'll risk splitting your stitches open if you stay here! I'm not asking you to stay, I'm telling you to stay, and I'll handle this myself." Albert stated sternly as he got out of the truck.

Once he was out he closed his door and locked it to insure that Rina would Stay in as he didn't want her trying to sneak out. He walked up to the man who also had a gun out and was pointing it right at him, he saw that one of the man's arms was missing and had bandages tightly wrapped around it.

From the way the blood had stained the bandaged and how dry it was Albert assumed it had happened some time ago. He also saw that the stance the man had meant that he was a pro with guns but not for combat but for hunting instead. Albert held his gun up at the man and the two were left in a tense standoff as they glared at one another.

Rina watched from inside the Truck having a feeling of dread boiling down in her stomach as she watched the two standoff.

Albert watched as the man switched the gun to his stubbed arm and stuck out his thumb as the hitchhiking symbol. Lowering his weapon Albert unlocked the car and signaled for the man to get in the back seat.

The man grabbed his gun and put it back in its holder before heading to the truck's back seat. When he got into the back seat Rina took a good look at him and saw that he had blond hair, a shabby beard, as well as some hunting gear.

She saw that his right arm was gone and all he had left now was his left, that made her hope he was left handed even if that was rare.

"Hey Sir um... who are you?" Rina asked.

"Names Taylor, but I prefer my nickname Tay as it makes me feel more manly if that makes sense." Taylor explained.

"Yeah it does... um and what happened to your arm, if you don't mind me asking." Rina said.

"Two words for you kid, zombie bite." Tay said bitterly.

"Oh ouch, you good?" Rina asked.

"Aside from the mother fucking pain I went thru when I cut my arm off I'm good. That was a big risk I took but it's better than sitting on my ass doing nothing as my humanity left me. However I did chain myself to a large heave pipe in my emergency bunker for days to see if I would still turn." Tay explained.

"That was smart of you. It was risky to cut your arm off as You could still have died of blood loss but it looks like you reacted on time and stopped the bleeding in time to save your life." Albert stated as he drove the truck.

"Yeah I did, but don't think I wont stay around for long, I'm looking for my younger sister and my two nephews. I ain't much of a social guy except those I have a very close relationship to, that being my sister and her twin sons." Tay explained.

"Well what's your sister and nephew's names, we can try to help you find them." Rian explained.

"My sister is Mandy and my nephews are Jack and Chris, the two boys look exactly alike but Jack has brown hair while Chris is blond." Tay explained.

When Rina heard that she realized that this man could be Jack and Chris's uncle as they did mention their mom had an older brother.

"Hey I think I know your nephews, I'm their friend! We were staying at a hotel and they might be there." Rina explained.

"Wait, what do you mean by they might be me?" Tay asked.

"We'll we all got separated when we went out on a food run, so I don't know if they got back or not, but I know they had gotten back." Rina explained.

"Well it's better than not checking to see if they're there or not." Tay stated.

"Alright now let's get there and meet up with your team kid." Albert said as he drove to the hotel Rina and her team were staying at.

(With the Undead kickers)

Chris had swapped out with Jack to keep an eye out for Rina as his brother needed to use the bathroom again.

"Come on Rina, where are you?" Chris asked as he looked out for his leader.

As he watched he saw a tricked out military truck driving up to the hotel. Chris extended the binoculars to get a better view of the truck and see who was in it. The truck then came to a stop and Chris saw a man in military clothing coming out of the. He also saw Rina coming out and another man who he recognized as his uncle, who was now missing an arm.

"GUYS! GUYS! RINA'S BACK AND SHE'S ALIVE!" Chris screamed in joy as he ran inside the hotel room.

"Wait what! She is!" Lee shouted.

"Yeah! And that's not it! My and Jack's uncle is with her, along with someone else, but he's helping her so he might be a friend." Chris explained.

"Well if one of them is your and Jack's uncle I feel like he can be trusted till we learn more about the other man." Janet explained.

"Fair point... where's Ron?" Chris asked, noticing that Ron wasn't in the main room with Lee and Janet.

"I think he's in one of the rooms sleeping." Lee said.

"Alright I'll go tell him that Rina is back and she's alive." Chris said then left to go get Ron.

Ron meanwhile was in the bedroom he was sharing with Rina, Lucy, Darcy, and Albert. He was examining the tape he had watched earlier, still in shock by what was on it. He didn't know how to tell Rina about it when she came back but he knew she had to know.

"This could be the last words Rina might ever hear from her parents and if it's destroyed then Rina will never know the truth. However, what will she think of herself when she sees the tape? AGH! But I can't keep it all a secret from her forever let alone keep the tape safe." Ron said to himself.

"Hey Ron, what are you talking about?" Ron heard Chris ask.

Ron shot up out of the bed he was in and hid the tape behind his back as he turned to see Chris looking at him confused.

"Um nothing!" Ron excused.

"Um Ron, what are you hiding behind your back?" Chris asked as he saw Ron hiding something behind his back.

"Like I said Chris nothing." Ron said.

"Dude really? I tried that on my mom and that resulted in me getting in trouble with her." Chris stated as he crossed his arms while staring at Ron.

"Ugh Fine I have something to tell you and the others, but Rina needs to know it the most." Ron explained.

"Really? What is it?" Chris asked.

Ron then showed the tape to Chris and sighed as he prepared himself to tell Chris about it.

"I found this in the wreckage of Rina's house and I watched it before you, Jack, and Rina all went out on that supply run. What I saw on it was just so... insane that I almost didn't believe it, but the way Rina's parents seemed so serious when they made it I knew they weren't making it up." Ron explained.

After Ron was done explaining Chris was curious to see what was on there, he decided to have Ron play it for everyone after Rina got back up to them.

"Well if it makes you feel better Rina's back and she's alive, injured but alive and well." Chris explained hoping that would help Ron feel better.

"Really?! She's back! Oh thank god! I was worried that I'd wasted my chance to show her when she left and then got separated!" Ron said as he felt a wave of relief wash over him.

"Yeah, let's go and see her, how she's doing, and see my uncle." Chris said.

"Wait, your uncle is here too?!" Ron asked, surprised.

"Yeah you'll see when we get down from there." Chris said then grabbed Ron by the arm and brought him out of the room.

The rest of the Undead kickers left the room and went downstairs to meet up with Rina, Albert, and Tay. When they arrived at the first floor of the hotel they saw Albert holding Rina in his arms and Tay looking around the place with his gun out.

"Uncle!" Jack screamed as he and Chris ran up to his uncle.

"Jack! My nephew! How have you and your brother been?" Tay asked.

"Aside from the zombies and fear for our lives I've been good." Jack explained.

"Yeah I've been doing alright as well, we're just here trying to live." Chris explained.

"Ah that's good, it's good to hear you boys are doing well despite the situation." Tay said as he ruffled Jack then Chris's hair.

"Um uncle... What happened to your arm?" Jack asked as he saw Tay's right arm was missing.

"A Zombie bit me and I cut it off to save my life." Tay explained.

"Okay, that sounds painful but because you're still alive I guess it was effective." Janet said.

"Yeah it was, who are all of you?" Tay asked.

"I'm Lee, this is my girlfriend Janet, Lucy, Beth, Boy, Darcy, Albert, Luna, and Michael." Lee explained introducing everyone.

"Nice to meet you all, I'm Taylor but just call me my nickname Tay." Tay said.

"Alright Tay, who's this guy with you?" Michael asked.

"I'm Albert and I'm an old friend of Rina's dad Leo and I'm here to get you all out of here and take you all to meet up with Rina's parents and some other survivors." Albert explained.

"Wait really?! You are?!" Ron asked, surprised.

"Yes Leo has a cure for the virus, or at least part of the formula to make it, we need to find Mr. Z who stole the rest of the formula so we can get out of here." Albert explained.

"There's an antidote!" Janet exclaimed, surprised by the news.

"Yes and I made a deal with a friend of mine on the outside saying that if I deliver the antidote they would send a chopper to get us out of here." Albert explained.

"Really?! Awesome! Anything to be in a zombie free place!" Jack exclaimed, happy to hear they might have a way out.

"Yeah me to but where could we start to find Mr. Z, I don't think he's the kind of Man to have his barrel hanging out in the open." Darcy explained.

"Yeah he's not stupid, so he's gotta have some kinda secret base." Luna explained.

"I know but we're going to find him! Oce we do we'll demand that he gives us back the antidote and save human kind!" Albert declared sternly.

After Alberts declared the Undead kickers all cheered as they heard what Albert had to say. However Ron remembered the tape that Rina's parents made when his hand brushed up against it in his jacket. He decided to show Rina now before he lost his chance as he didn't know what would happen when they left.

"Hey Um Albert I uh... I have something to tell Rina before we leave." Ron said.

"You do? What do you have to tell me?" Rina asked.

"*sigh* I found something in the wreckage of your old home and I need to show you it before it's too late." Ron said as he walked up to Albert who was still holding Rina in his arms.

"What's that Ron?" Rina asked as she cocked her head to the side curiously.

Ron then took a deep breath again then took the tape out of his jacket and showed it to Rina. When Rina saw it she was confused as she didn't understand what it meant.

"I know it might be confusing but I want all of us to watch it, and when we do please don't freak out!" Ron explained.

"Alright but where should we watch it?" Lee asked.

"I managed to get a TV working in the security room so we can watch it." Ron explained.

"Okay let's see what's on there and get moving! I don't know about you all but I already lost my right arm to a zombie. I ain't losing any more limbs!" Tay exclaimed impatiently.

The others nodded and Ron took them into the security room where he showed them the TV he used last time. He turned it and the VHS player on, then put the tape inside.

The TV then showed Rina's parents being Leo and Rose, and like before for Ron they had a serious look on their faces. They also repeated what they had said in the beginning of the tape but they then started explaining what was going on.

"Rina, if you're watching this, that means something bad happened to me and your father in the lab and we weren't able to tell you the truth." Rose explained.

"If so we're so sorry for not telling you this sooner, but we made this so you'd have all your questions answered." Leo explained.

Rina was clearly confused by this, what did her parents mean by having all her questions answered?

"Rina I know this is going to be hard to believe but your... your half zombie." Rose said hesitantly.

When everyone heard that they all froze in shock, and Rina was the most shocked out of all of them. She felt her ears ringing at what her mother had just said, but she tried denying it as much as she could.

'No No! There's no way I'm half zombie! I can't be a zombie! I'm a living person just like everyone else!' Rina thought to herself in denial.

"I know it's hard to believe but it's the truth, you see Rina when your mother was pregnant Mr. Z was looking for a host for a virus he was working on. He calls it the eight virus and he had about seven other viruses he was working on and some of them already have hosts but he hasn't had much luck with the eight virus. He realized he needed a fresh new human to use the virus on and make what he calls "The perfect Bio weapon" For the government." Leo explained.

"He then found out that I was pregnant after overhearing Reg congratulating me about my pregnancy. After he heard that he thought that you'd be perfect as I was three months into it and you were still new and fresh. So one day he brought me into his lab and said he needed my help for a while. He then knocked me out and when I woke up he had already operated on me and injected the virus into you while ensuring it wouldn't affect me." Rose explained as she trembled remembering that awful day.

When Rina heard that she felt her stomach knot up and she felt sick at hearing what Mr. Z had done to her and her mother.

"Once I found out what he had done I was of course furious with him, but he acted like he did nothing wrong! That showed me that he had utterly lost his mind and trying to scream or smack some reason into him would be pointless. So after that I made sure Rose was never alone again as I didnt want Mr. Z to pull anything else." Leo explained.

"Several months had passed and everything was going well with my pregnancy and your soon born into this world. However... when you were born y-you were dead. The doctor told us that it sometimes happens, and he had allowed us to be with you alone as he thought we needed it, but something happened when he left." Rose explained.

Rina got confused by what her mother had said, how could she have been dead when she was born? She was here alive and well, so what could've happened to her that allowed her to live?

"After the doctor had left, red veins started appearing on the right side of your body and you were twitching inhumanly. Soon you were alive and crying like a baby, the doctors just thought it was a miracle but we knew what it really was. That was your virus, as Mr. Z told us that the eight virus would give its host super regeneration to the point where the infected could come back from the dead. He examined you once we returned to work and confirmed that his experiment was a success and that you were indeed half zombie. He then had the nerve to ask if he could keep you to keep up his experiments with how the virus will progress through you. We of course refused and took you home, after that he'd try anyway to run his experiments on you while you were growing up. That's why me and your mother stopped taking you to our work place, we also decided to try and gather evidence to expose him to the authorities. We haven't gotten much but recently we've been able to get some pictures of his other hosts for the other viruses." Leo explained.

When everyone heard that everyone could believe what they were hearing. It sounded crazy but with what was going on and how serious Leo and Rose were in the video they had to believe it.

"Here are the other unfortunate kids who had unknowingly become Mr. Z's test subjects for his viruses. Rina you run into them, don't be afraid six of them are good while the one who has the seven virus isn't so nice. So in order for you to know who they are we had them labeled by what virus their infected with as Mr. Z didn't even bother to give the poor souls names." Rose explained as she and Leo started showing the pictures of the other test subjects Mr. Z had experimented on.

When the two showed the pictures everyone was shocked to see Boy, Beth, Darcy, Michael, Albert, Luna, and Seven on the screen. They all looked at the virus siblings with their eyes wide and shocked by what they had learned.

"YOU GUYS ARE HALF ZOMBIES!!!" Jack screamed, surprised.

"Hey it's not like we asked to be like this alright! Continue watching the tape, there's more to it!" Darcy stated while crossing her arms.

The group just kept quiet and continued watching the tape as Darcy told them to do.

"Rina we know that this is a lot to take in and you might not believe it, but it's the truth. Your medication was really to suppress your virus to the point of it going to sleep, but we fear that if Mr. Z continues what he's doing could lead to an outbreak. So please if you see this tape you need to stop medication immediately so you can define yourself as Seven will try to kill you as he wants to be the superior life form. However the other hosts who are basically your virus brothers and sisters will try and help you out as best as they can. We love you Rina and we're sorry we lied but we had to!" Leo explained.

"Yes and if they act a bit odd don't worry about that as they were held in a lab and experimented on for most of their lives so it's not their fault. You just help them out as much as you can and they can help you out as much as they can. We love you so much Rina... we hope you can understand." Rose explained.

The tape then ended and everyone was in total shock of what they all just learned. Rina meanwhile was in the most shock as her whole world was turned upside down within the span of a few minutes (Even more than when the apocalypse started).

She couldn't wrap her head around it, she's half zombie and this was because of an experiment that Mr. Z had done it before she was even born. She then felt a hand around her shoulders and when she looked she saw Ron wrapping his arm around her.

She began to tear up and she hugged Ron tightly as she was grateful that he showed her the tape. While she was shocked to hear that this whole time she was never human even before birth she's grateful to now know the truth.
