Rina woke up to an alarm going off, she woke up in her bed and looked up and saw her alarm going off. She groaned and slammed her hand on the alarm stopping it from going off. Rina pushed the covers off of herself and sat up on her bed while yawning.

"Rina sweetie! Breakfast is almost ready, get ready for the day and then come up here to enjoy your breakfast!" Rina heard her mother call out.

"Coming mom! I'll be up in a moment!" Rina called out to her mother before getting up and going into her bathroom.

When she went in she saw herself in the reflection. She had typical morning hair and she was wearing PJ's that had zombie's printed on them. Rina yawned and took off her pajamas before getting into the showering and cleaning herself up.

After showering Rina stepped out of the shower and looked into the mirror to get her hair and facial routine done.

Rina looked down to the sink and grabbed a hair brush, then she saw a drop of blood drop into the sink. She looked up and saw blood coming out of her nose, she touched her face and then saw blood coming out of her eyes, ears, and even more from her nose.

Rina backed away in fear, she then tripped and fell on the ground. She put her hand on her face and when she took her hand on her face she saw that there was more blood on it.

Rina stood up and looked in the mirror, when she looked at herself in the reflection she saw red veins bulging out of the side of her body that her red eye was on. She saw that she was becoming less and less human looking and looked more like she was half dead.

A figure then came into view of the mirror and Rina turned around while clutching onto the towel she had wrapped around her body. However when she turned around she saw that she wasn't in her bathroom anymore, but within a destroyed city that was on fire. She saw the figure was much farther now and he was standing in the middle of the flaming city.

"W-What happened! Where am I! W-Who the hell are you?!" Rina screamed as she looked around scared and confused.

"Well Little sister looks like you're just as savage as me, but it's disappointing that you refuse to leave your humanity behind like I did. It seems you just constantly go in and out of human form, even now your virus is trying to take over and yet your human side is still fighting back. Just forget your humanity like how I did and become like me! Embrace it and be it!" Seven exclaimed with pride.

"W-What?! No NO! I'LL NEVER BE LIKE YOU! YOU'RE A MONSTER I'M A HUMAN!" Rina screamed angrily.

"Oh dear sister, if you really are human then... Why did you eat all your friends?" Seven asked.

"W-What do you-!" Rina asked before she looked down and saw her friend's dead bodies lying on the ground.

When Rina looked closer she saw that all her friends had chunks of flesh taken out of them. Rina looked at herself and saw that she was covered in blood from her hands, her mouth, her chest, all the way down to her legs.

"W-Wha! N-No! I-I didn't do this! I-I don't remember doing this!" Rina exclaimed as she backed away in a panic.

"Oh little sister I saw you do it, and it was glorious! We'll show them all you and I, that we are the superior race of humans! That we are better than all of them! We will remake the world together! You and me!" Seven declared proudly as he got closer to Rina.

"No n-no! NOOOOOO!" Rina screamed before she jolted awake.

"Ah! No! No! NO!" Rina kept on saying within her shock.

After calming down Rina looked around and saw she wasn't covered in blood, on the contrary she had bandages on her leg and around her abdomen. She then felt the top of her head and felt a bandage that went all the way around her head. She then looked around and saw she was sitting on a medical bed with an IV drip next to her.

Rina tried to get up but ultimately felt a rush of pain flow from her bandaged abdomen to her whole body. Rina groaned in pain as she grabbed onto that area and laid down again to rest up.

"M-Maybe I should l-look around later..." Rina said as she laid back down and passed out again.

Albert meanwhile was in the back and saw the whole thing, he was going to go up to her with a meal, but after seeing her pass out again he decided to give it to her later. So he put the food down on a nearby table and walked up to Rina to check out her vitals.

However when Albert walked up to Rina he heard a growl come out of her. Albert froze up for a moment before he shifted over to a nearby bag of meat he collected after bringing Rina here.

He opened the bag and winced at the smell as it punished him in the face. Albert started heaving and gagging violently but pushed through the smell and pulled out a chunk of the meat. The meat itself was human flesh and from what Leo had told Albert about what happened to Rina. He knew that she wasn't on her meds any longer and she'd need to eat this to snap out of the state she was about to go into.

"Okay Albert, just give her the meat and she'll be fine. Leo said that she'd go into this state more often if she wasn't on her meds and was injured." Albert said to himself as he walked up to Rina with the chunk of meat in his hand.

Albert gently placed the meat in Rina's lap before he backed away gently. Rina then woke up, but she wasn't the same as she was when she first woke up. She had red veins started to come out of the side of her body where her red eye was once again.

Rina then looked over at Albert blankly, which caused him to internally jump and back away from her. However when Rina tried to move her legs she felt something shift and she looked to see the chunk of bloody meat in her lap.

Rina's mouth then started salivating as she grabbed onto the meat chunk and shoved it into her mouth then began eating. As she ate Albert felt like throwing up as the smell and the smacking, chewing, and chomping noses Rina made as she ate was disgusting.

"I sincerely hope the kid doesn't eat like that when she comes back to her senses." Albert whispered to himself.

Rina soon finished the meat and when she did she looked at Albert again, with blood dripping from her face. Albert got anxious about it, but he calmed down when Rina gave him a thumbs up before passing out once again.

Albert took a deep breath of relief and went up to Rina, got out some wipes, then started whipping the blood off of her face. After he finished cleaning Rina up he threw the wipes away in a nearby trash bin that had other blood stained wipes in them.

Albert then left the room Rina was in and went to a communication room to try and contact anyone in a non infected area to get more info on the infection spread. He also uses the room to hack into any security system still working and try to find Leo to contact him and inform him about his daughter's state.

"Hello? Hello? This is former Command Sergeant Major E-9 Albert! Anyone there! Hello?" Albert called into the radio he was using.

"H-Hello *Static* *buzz* Albert, is that you?" Someone on the other line asked.

"Benny is that you?" Albert asked.

"Yeah! Oh god! You have no clue how good it is to hear a familiar voice!" Benny exclaimed in relief.

"Same here, how's things going with the infection?" Albert asked.

"Eh not good. Last week we learned that some infected snuck onto a plane and got dropped off at New York so now it's spreading even more now than before. We're at our wits end and not even the president knows what to do. Some of the guys here started joking that if they could choose between this and the Covid 19 epidemic they'd rather have Covid." Benny explained.

"I don't blame them, things here in California, San Francisco ain't all that good themselves. The infection had already turned the largely populated city into the undead, so I managed to avoid it with my underground bunker. This is one of the few times I'm glad to be a mole man thanks to society's treatment of me!" Albert exclaimed as he pulled out a cigarette and lit it.

"Damn I know, I heard about why you quit. I Didn't see how badly the helicopter crash damaged your face, but from what I heard it didn't look nice." Benny explained.

"Trust me it ain't pretty, anyway I wanted to find out if there's a way myself and some friends could be evacuated to somewhere safe. My old friend Leo told me that his boss Mr. Z had made this virus alone with an antidote with it. So if we could get that to you guys, we can use it to save the human race." Albert explained.

"Really? I'll check in, are they with you?" Benny asked.

"No it's just me and Leo's daughter right now, I haven't found Leo yet, but I'm looking for him." Albert explained.

"Ah Okay, wait Leo has a daughter?! And the mother fucker never told me?!" Benny exclaimed, surprised by the news.

"Hehe well you two haven't talked in years after all he was busy with his personal life." Albert explained as he leaned back while smoking his cigarette.

"And yet the son of a bitch told you about him having a kid." Benny started to be annoyed.

"Hehe well anyway, Once I have them and they confirm they have the antidote I'll inform you and you try your best to get a chopper here to get us the hell out of this city." Albert explained.

"Okay and please contact me soon man I don't want you guys dying." Benny explained.

"Hehe don't worry old friend, I Will contact you. The only reason I won't contact you is if I die, and I don't plan on dying at my age." Albert declared as he sat up.

"Okay once you get what you promised, report to me and I'll get a chopper there ASAP." Benny explained.

"Good, oh and Congrats on becoming a five star general like how Leo was." Albert explained.

"Hehe I'll be sure to tell him once I see him again, it would be nice to rub that in his face the way we used to in the olden days." Benny explained while laughing.

Albert laughed back before ending the call he was on, once he was done with the call he went back to looking for Leo.

"Come on you son of a bitch where the hell are you?" Albert muttered to himself.

He flipped through the security cameras of different places. From a restaurant, a mall, police station, hotels, to other places that had security cameras. Albert started to get worried and impatient till he spotted something in a camera from a science lab.

He went back and when he took a closer look at it and saw Leo, Rose and four other survivors with them inside of the science lab. He saw that Rose was laying on a stretcher holding onto her arm as Leo made something with the lab's chemicals.

Albert used the cameras to zoom in and saw that Rose was infected as she had a bite on her arm and was showing signs. Albert got anxious when he saw this, however his anxiety went away when he saw Leo fill a syringe with something and walk over to Rose where he injected it into her.

Rose then seemed to have started getting better till she seemed fully well again, she then sat up and gave Leo a warm hug, to which he returned. She then passed out again and Leo gently laid her back down. Albert smiled at that but then remembered that he needed to contact Leo before he lost him again. So Albert hacked into the lab's phone and used that as his way to call the place and try to contact Leo or any of the other survivors he and his wife were with.

"Hey Leo! Rose, can you two hear me!" Albert asked.

"Huh?! Albert is that you!" Leo called out as he looked up to one of the speakers.

"Yes it's me! Listen, I was able to contact a friend on the outside of this disaster and he said if we could bring the antidote then we can get out of this mess!" Albert explained.

"Really?" Leo asked.

"Yes really, as long as it works then we can get the heck out of here!" Albert promised.

"Well we do have someone who's willing to see if it works. Rose here unfortunately got bitten when this all first started, and I have only part of the formula. Thankfully even if it's not the complete formula it's effective to cure the disease temporarily, but I want Rose to be fully cured from this disease so we'll need to find Mr. Z and get the rest back from him." Leo explained.

"Alright, Also I have something very important to inform you all about." Albert explained.

"What's that Albert?" Leo asked.

"I found your daughter Rina, she's here with me, but that Seven freak you told me about injured her badly but she's alright. Hehe reminds of you, she's a resilient one like how you were back in our military days." Albert stated as he remembered the olden days.

"That's good to hear, especially knowing that my little girl is safe, wait why is she out here?! She'd never leave the house in a time of crisis and because of her obsession with zombies She'd know our house is the safest place to be in right now." Leo explained.

"That's what I'm going to ask when she wakes up. For now you all just stay alive and at night we'll all meet at the central park at about 11:00 Pm got it?" Albert asked.

"Understood thanks Al." Leo said while giving Albert a thumbs up.

"Anything for a friend, now I'll see you all there, I need to check and see if Rina is awake yet." Albert explained.

Leo nodded on the camera and Albert turned off his equipment in order to save up as much power as he could. After turning everything off Albert got up to cheek up on Rina to see if she was alright.

(Meanwhile with the adults)

Leo smiled after hearing what Albert had said, as they had hoped to get out of here and go somewhere safe. However he knew it'd only be that way if they brought the formula for the cure so now it was more important than ever to find M. Z and get the formula.

"Hey Leo, who was that?" Carter asked.

Leo looked over to the other adults and saw they were looking at him with confusion written on their faces.

"That was an old friend of mine, Albert. We worked in the military together before I left after a major incident that almost took my life. After that I retired and decided to pursue another career in my life, and as you can see, that was science in medicine." Leo explained.

"Okay that makes sense, well I hope he will be able to get us out of here and somewhere safe." Cassey said.

"I do too but I'm not going anywhere till I find my son." Carter stated firmly.

"Same for me and my wife, we're not going without our daughter." James stated as he held his wife close to him.

"I don't want to go anywhere without my twins." Mandy stated firmly.

"I understand that, after all, I wouldn't want to go anywhere without my daughter. So when we meet him I'm going to tell him about our kids and with his help, we might be able to find them." Leo explained.

"You promise that he'll help us find our kids?" Carter asked firmly.

"Yes I promise that he will indeed help find your children." Leo said, reassuring the worried parents.

"Alright, he better help us get our kids to safety cause if I want to leave this city I want to go either with my kid or not at all." Carter explained sternly.

"I'd like that too, I'm not going anywhere without my sons." Mandy explained.

James and Cassy also agreed with the other two parents as they also had no intention of going anywhere unless it was with their daughter or not at all.

"Ugh.. ah... L-Leo are y-you there?" Rose asked as she woke up and sat up on the bed.

"Yes Rose, I'm here. I'm here! I have good news, my old friend Albert has a way to get us out of here." Leo said.

"R-Really? He does?" Rose asked.

"Yes and he even has Rina with him, she's hurt but safe." Leo explained reassuring his wife about their daughter's safety.

"She is! Oh thank goddess, but why is she here? Wouldn't she be back at the house?" Rose asked.

"I don't know but we're going to find out. We're meeting him at the central park at 11:00 Pm, so we'll ask her once we meet her there." Leo explained.

"Alright, I hope she's not weakened too much." Rose said.

"I'm sure she'll be fine, after all she's a tough one like me... and because of what Mr. Z did to her." Leo whispered the last part to Rose.

Rose nodded understanding what her husband meant, she then got up slowly as the antivirus Leo had injected her with was still working its way through her, but she was able to get up.

"Alright let's get going and find my friend." Leo said as he helped Rose on her feat.

The other parents all nodded and followed Leo as he led them outside and to their destination. They all hoped that with Alberts help they could find Mr. Z and get the rest of the formula for the cure to this deadly virus and save the human race.

(Back with Albert)

Albert walked into the room where Rina was in and saw she was now awake, but this time she was her normal self. She looked around aimlessly at the room, as she tried to process in her head where she was.

"Ugh *Cough Cough* I feel like I got hit by a bus with metal spikes attached to the front." Rina said as she groaned in pain.

Albert calmly approached Rina and sat down next to her, she noticed him and looked over to him.

"Hey Kiddo, I'm Albert, and I'm an old friend of your dad." Albert said.

"Albert? I think dad had told me about you." Rina said.

"And he's told me a lot about you kid, and hey I got good news for you, your parents are alive and we're going to see them at Central park at 11:00 PM." Albert explained with a smile on his face.

Rina looked at Albert as she heard about her parents, she smiled grateful to hear that they were alive, but she knew that she'd had to get her friends before they went anywhere.

"I-I need to go g-get my f-friends." Rina said.

"You do? I didn't know you were with others." Albert was surprised by the new information.

"I was with two of our own in the group, but we were separated, but I know where they are." Rina explained.

"I actually have a feeling, they're at your house right?" Albert asked.

"If they wanted to stay in a house that's now in shambles then yes." Rina sarcastically stated.

Alberts eye's widened when he heard that, as he didn't know that Rina's house was gone.

"W-What happened to it?!" Albert asked, shocked by the news.

"That huge freak that attacked me destroyed the main pillars in the house and this caused the place to come crashing down. But thankfully we found a new place to stay for a while, so before we head to that location we'll need to gather up my team first, as I don't leave anyone behind!" Rina stated as she sat up slowly.

Albert sighed and smiled when he heard that Rina was indeed just like her father as he also refused to leave anyone behind no matter what.

"Alright we'll go get your friends then we'll meet up with your folks, sound good to you?" Albert asked.

"Yes that sounds perfect" Rina said then tried to get up "AGH!" however she screamed in pain again and held her side that was stabbed.

"Ahg! I-I might need some help getting up." Rina groaned out as tears started to well up in her eyes.

Albert nodded and grabbed on to Rina, then gently picked up bridal style in order to prevent her from being in more pain.

"Alright Kiddo, let's get going! Lets get your friend and see your parents. After that we'll need to find someone if we wanna get out of this place with our lives." Albert stated as he walked out of the safe house with Rina in his arms.
