i surfaced through those

wild oceans of pain, told

my mirror demons to 

go away,

i found a way to share all

the guilt that was eating

the inside of me,

and you accepted me 

i let you into my world

of emptiness, led you

through the pain i never

knew still existed

over the months i realised

sharing my problems

it made you smile

your eyes began to sparkle

although i'm not sure why

the things i told you, they

were always blue

my life was nothing of colour

until i met you.
