We walked out to the club. Jason stopped us.

"Vhere are you going? As party's is vright here!" Jason exclaimed.

I tried my hardest to copy his voice patterns.

"Uh, 've vere going to..ze drink bar! Ves! Ze drink bar! Uh, bye!" I said hurriedly.

We walked over to the drink bar because Jason was still watching. We ordered drinks and pretended to talk about something important. He finally stopped watching us and went to find the others.

"Phew! Thought he would never leave!" Jess exclaimed, relieved.

I was about to respond when I felt something like a ZAP in my pocket.

"HEY!" I jumped.

"What? What is it Al?" Jess asked, concern in her eyes.

I didn't respond. Instead I pulled out my psychic paper. It had something scribbled on it.

"Jess...someone called me..." I said.

"What?! I thought-"

"I know. Only certain people can send a message like this...whoever or whatever it is...needs help. And a lot of it." I said, jumping up.

The paper read 'Help me! Please! Help me! Basement! Anyone?! Help me!'

We ran up to a authorized personnel only door.

"Are you sure this is it?" Jess questioned.

"Absolutely. When I was brainwashed I got a complete scan of the building imprinted into my mind. I can walk this building with my eyes closed." I said proudly.

"Don't get used to being smarter than me." Jess said, fake anger in her voice.

"What?! Are you just upset that I am clever?! Is that it? I wonder if it is...is it...I don't know...21 cubed is 9, 261. I am having a conversation with myself aren't I. Slap me. WAIT! Don't slap me! I've never been slapped before...Someone slap me while I'm thinking of it." I said, talking to myself.

Jess slapped me across the face which snapped me out of...whatever that was.

I gripped my face. "Thanks."

"No problem. That's not he first time you've done that...but anyways. Let's go." She said.

I nodded and we went inside the door.

It looked like a locker room. It had varieties of different things in it.

"Do you think I should take my pin off? Just incase someone thinks it's weird I'm saying I'm someone and then seeing my pin." I said thoughtfully.

"Sure. Go for it." Jess said, looking at the different things.

I reached for the pin. The moment I grabbed it, I felt a strong electric current run through my body.

"AHHH!!!" I yelled.

"Alix!" Jess yelled concerned.

I staggered backwards and fell to the floor. The world faded to black.
