I grinned at them flying away. But I suddenly felt empty as I watched them go. I was brought back to reality when Leo dropped his hammer on his tool box. "THE FRACK LEO!" I yelled at him trying to regain my hearing as my ears were ringing. "Sorry!" He yelled back. I rolled my eyes at him and walked over to a tree and began to climb it. I nearly slipped but regained my balance and continued to climb to the top. When I reached the top, the air was cold but I wasn't. I sat on a tree branch stared out into space for a while. I then heard rustling of branches and a faint, "Ow!" "Leo, if that's you I swear I will kill you." I warned. "Well good thing I'm not Leo." I heard the voice say. "Percy." I said laughing. "Go back down, I'll be there in a minute." I heard him groan as he climbed back down. When he said he was safe on the ground I back-flipped nearly hit the tree and used my feet to push off and landed on my feet. "And she sticks the landing!" I said smirking at Leo. We normally have contests to see who can land on the ground firmly on their feet without messing up. I normally win.

"So, Percy, what do I need to understand about my past that Leo knows and I don't?" I asked moving my brown pixie-cut hair outta my face. Percy looked at Leo, who was standing by a tree far away from me knowing my threats. He gave Percy a thumbs-up and Percy turned back to me. "Leena, you and Leo are demigods." He said bluntly. I stared at him with a slightly furrowed expression. Was he joking? Me and Leo, demigods? "I don't understand. How can we be demigods? Me and Leo just repair and construct things." I asked him. "Listen, you can do things no one else can right? Never feel cold? Never get burned by fire? Accidents always happen at school?" He asked. I nodded surprised by how much he knew about me Leo. "Yeah... but what does that have to do with anything?" Percy sighed. "Leena, your real dad is a God. They still exist and always existed after the Titan, Kronos, was defeated by the Big Three; Zeus, Poseidon and Hades. Kronos was fed a stone and puked up Big Three's brothers and sisters. Poseidon used the Riptide, Zeus used his lightning bolts and Hades used the souls of people who've died to destroy Kronos and banish all of his remains all over Tartarus. The way you're never cold and are resistant to heat is because Hephaestus, God of Fire, is your father." He explained. Holy shite. Holy fricking shite. Our father is the God of FIRE!!!

I nodded fully understanding. Now I know why our step-father never let us alone in a grassy field. But why did mom die? She must've been a mortal or only human. But how did kill mom? "Percy, when I was 4, our mom died and I heard a voice in my head it said that we, killed her. That we killed our mother, that's not true is it?" I asked him looking hopeful that he'd say no. "No it's not true. A Goddess named Gaea took over your bodies for a moment to make you think you killed your mother. Gaea had lured your mother to a workshop and used her abilities to move the fire to your mother and make her burn to death no matter what. That's what really happened." He said solemnly and rubbed my back awkwardly unsure about my emotions. To be honest, I don't understand them either. My emotions were mixed with sadness and anger. But also understanding and happiness. Sadness from how our mom really died. Anger from wanting revenge on Gaea even though she's a Goddess. Understanding from how me and Leo are demigods. Happiness from the fact that me and Leo actually have a father.
